For the consensus mechanism in the blockchain, an authority and trust-based PBFT consensus algorithm for blockchain is proposed in this paper, short for AC-PBFT. Firstly, a novel credit scoring model is constructed, employing a proportional probability block generation model to enhance the fairness of the permissioned chain, which is used to incentivize the permissioned chain in the credit scoring model. Secondly, a biased credit scoring mechanism is designed to selectively filter out credit nodes with bias. Meanwhile, a proportional probability block generation mechanism is added to give nodes with fewer credits a chance to generate blocks. Finally, simulation tests are conducted on nodes with different identities and behaviors. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed AC-PBFT has certain fairness and decentralized block generation performance in this paper.

consensus issues play an important role in coordinated control of multi-agent systems. It means that the agents communicate with each other and use the coordination algorithm to make the system reach a stable and consistent state. consensus algorithms are widely used in engineering, one of which is micro-grid control. Firstly, the application of frequency and voltage control in the micro-grid system is analyzed and summarized. Secondly, the application of the consensus algorithm in the energy management control of the micro-grid is summarized. Finally, combined with voltage frequency control and energy management, the prospects of the application of consensus algorithm in micro-grid control are summarized.

In dc microgrids, load power sharing and bus voltage regulation are two common control objectives. In this article, a consensus-based algorithm is presented to achieve proportional power sharing and regulation of weighted geometric mean of bus voltages in dc microgrids with ZIP (constant impedance, constant current, and constant power) loads simultaneously. By using the virtue of the Laplacian matrices of undirected connected graphs, a lemma is derived to assist the stability analysis of the dc microgrids. Thus, a sufficient condition that stabilizes the system with ZIP loads is established. In addition, with the help of a distributed voltage regulation error estimator, the tuning of the bus voltages can be realized without the requirement on initial voltage conditions. Through the Lyapunov synthesis, the large-signal stability of the closed-loop system is theoretically ensured for a wide range of load conditions. Finally, simulation studies are performed to validate the merits of the proposed consensus-based algorithm.

Centralized networks can perform task scheduling readily because they can easily collect system information and manage tasks. However, due to the existence of the central nodes, centralized networks have low fault tolerance. On the contrary, peer-to-peer(P2P) networks have higher fault tolerance, but they do not have global information without central nodes. Therefore, how to schedule tasks in a P2P network has become a problem and a challenge. This paper proposes a consensus algorithm to maintain task information in the P2P network and implements a scheduling system to solve this problem. At the same time, it combines the ease of container deployment and migration to improve the efficiency of task scheduling. Besides, the heartbeat mechanism between nodes achieves fault tolerance for nodes. The system can be used in network environments without central nodes, such as mobile Ad hoc networks.

In the Internet of Things (IoT) environment, the disparity in device performance intensifies the consistency challenges in distributed systems. Blockchain, with its consensus mechanisms, transparency, and trustworthiness, has become a key technology for addressing these challenges. However, consensus algorithms in IoT still face limitations such as constrained device performance, security vulnerabilities, inefficient consensus, and lack of node motivation. To tackle these issues, this paper proposes an improved Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) algorithm, called GV-PBFT, which incorporates reputation grading and voting. GV-PBFT assesses IoT devices based on performance and trustworthiness, classifying them accordingly to enhance node motivation and prevent reputation accumulation. The algorithm also introduces optimized intra-group and inter-group consensus protocols to boost efficiency. Simulation results show that the GV-PBFT algorithm increases throughput by 74.99% and reduces communication delay by 31.86% on average compared to recent studies, and enhances security by more effectively identifying Byzantine and intermittently malicious nodes compared to recent methods.

Due to the advantages of decentralization and traceability, blockchain has become one of the common method to solve the problem of supply chain traceability. The core of achieving this goal lies in the consensus algorithm of blockchain algorithm, which has certain flaws such as low security, high communication complexity, or uneven distribution of rights. If applied directly, the algorithm may face the main bottleneck due to these flaws. In response to the poor security of internal supply chain traceability, this paper proposes an improved version of the Proof of Authority (PoA) algorithm named as Blockchain Reputation-Based consensus (BRBC). To address the identity management and weak trust mechanism issues in the BRBC algorithm, the improved Security and Faster Blockchain Reputation-Based consensus (SF-BRBC) algorithm is proposed in our paper. This algorithm solves the problem of weak applicability of the BRBC algorithm in identity-sensitive scenarios by introducing a Bloom filter. It also optimizes issues such as doubts about judge nodes, long voting time, and reputation accumulation in its own trust mechanism. Through experimentation, it has been shown that the SF-BRBC algorithm performs well in improving the security performance of internal supply chain traceability. This not only allows for better and more stable development of the supply chain but also provides supply chain enterprises with a greater advantage in industry competition.

Recently, consensus algorithms have been widely applied in microgrids due to their compatibility in different topologies. However, the algorithm is sensitive to the communication delay, thus affecting the system stability. To address this issue, a fuzzy logic controller based dynamic consensus algorithm is proposed in this work. Firstly, the impacts of the load change are discussed to design the rule of the fuzzy logic controller. Thereafter, a state-space model is built to analyze the system stability and to determine the controller parameters. Finally, MATLAB/Simulink based simulations are implemented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

Droop control is one of the basic control methods to solve the problem of load sharing in DC microgrids. However, the conventional droop control cannot balance the current sharing accuracy and bus voltage regulation between micro-sources(MSs). To tackle this problem, the ideal output current of each MS can be obtained based on the dynamic consensus algorithm. Then an improved droop control method that changes the droop coefficient by fuzzy control is proposed to improve the robustness of the system. The bus voltage can be effectively controlled while the currents are accurately shared. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed droop control strategy are verified by MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation.

Currently, the research on consensus in second-order scalar-weighted multi-agent systems has made significant progress. However, when describing complex problems, scalar weighted networks are difficult to accurately represent the coupling relationships between these problems. The dimensional expansion offered by matrix-weighted networks facilitates the description and analysis of complex issues. Currently, there is still limited research on second-order matrix-weighted networks. In this paper, a novel control protocol is designed using the backstepping method, enabling second-order matrix-weighted networks to achieve bipartite consensus. The impact of the Laplacian's null space on the network's bipartite consensus results is analyzed, and numerical simulations are conducted to validate the conclusions presented in the paper.
