With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and communication technology, the distributed optimization problem for distributed second-order multi-agent systems has received extensive attention. In this paper, a specified time convergence optimization algorithm is designed for the distributed optimization problem of multi-agent systems under undirected networks. Firstly, the sliding mode theory is used to achieve fixed-time convergence of the agent speed to the target value, transforming the second-order agent-distributed optimization problem into a first-order agent-distributed optimization problem. Secondly, with the help of the sliding mode theory, the agent realizes that the gradient sum is zero at a fixed time. Then, this paper uses the second derivative information of the cost function to design an initialization-free fixed-time convergent algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm designed in this paper is illustrated by case simulation.

This system has made several improvements on the basis of the traditional substation monitoring system, providing a new solution for the construction of the new ubiquitous power Internet of Things. This system focuses on the monitoring of illegal intrusion by external personnel, which is ignored by the traditional substation monitoring system. The entire system is designed as a three-tier structure of edge node-regional master node-server, and the computing pressure is distributed to edge nodes through edge computing. And realize the monitoring of outsiders through target detection and face recognition technology, and finally use the raft algorithm to ensure the data reliability of the entire system. This article mainly discusses the hypotheses proposed for the realization of the above functions, describes the structure and interaction design of the system, and briefly describes its hardware and software interface design ideas.

Blockchain technology has gained immense popularity over the last decade. It has transformed several industries by enabling processes to work in a secure and decentralized manner. Blockchain consists of blocks that are linked together through cryptography. Blockchain is a distributed ledger that contains a set of sequenced blocks of data. Each block records transaction data in a transparent, immutable, and secure fashion. consensus algorithm is the key part of this technology as it is used for the decision-making process among nodes in the blockchain network. Nodes in the verifying network use consensus algorithm to reach mutual agreement about state of the blockchain whenever a new block is added. This makes it possible to accept any transaction in the blockchain. Many consensus algorithms have been proposed in the literature each having its own performance and security characteristics. In this paper, we present a pattern for one of the most widely used blockchain consensus algorithms, which is the Proof of Work (PoW) algorithm. This paper is a part of our project on blockchain architecture and patterns.

IIoT devices are constrained by energy, computing and communication capabilities, facing challenges such as high energy consumption and long latency. To enhance the applicability of consensus protocols in resource-constrained environments, this paper proposes an improved blockchain consensus algorithm, ER-PBFT, tailored for IIoT scenarios. The algorithm incorporates a node energy model to evaluate energy thresholds and updates node energy values during each consensus preparation phase. On this basis, a reputation score model dynamically adjusts node reputation based on historical behavior, ensuring consensus nodes possess sufficient energy and high reliability. Additionally, a connectivity-based information synchronization algorithm is proposed to establish optimal paths for message forwarding, reducing communication overhead and energy consumption. Experimental simulations show that ER-PBFT outperforms the traditional PBFT protocol in terms of consensus latency and energy consumption. When the number of nodes reaches 50, ER-PBFT reduces latency by approximately 73.27%, increases throughput by about 34.53%, and decreases energy consumption by approximately 79.29% compared to traditional PBFT.

Blockchain technology has become a key support for optimizing Consortium Blockchain processes and improving information sharing efficiency. However, existing consortium blockchain consensus algorithms often exhibit declining efficiency and insufficient stability when facing large-scale networks and frequent membership changes, constraining their application in complex Consortium Blockchain scenarios. To address these issues, this paper proposes a Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance based on Verifiable Random Function (VRSPBFT). VRSPBFT uses the node's VRF proof value as the election basis, ensuring that more credible and contributive nodes are more likely to become leaders, avoiding malicious abuse. The model also designs a VRF-based instant node joining mechanism, allowing new nodes to quickly join the consensus process without waiting, effectively alleviating the consensus interruption problem caused by frequent changes and improving overall efficiency and continuity. The VRSPBFT model not only provides new technical support for building secure and reliable blockchain-based Consortium Blockchain systems, but also offers valuable references for further optimizing consortium blockchain consensus algorithms. This helps promote the application of blockchain in complex Consortium Blockchain scenarios and facilitate the transparency and efficiency of Consortium Blockchain management.

Driven by the strong demands in the green buildings for saving energy consumption and increasing the human thermal comfort, an improved indoor thermal preference indicator based on distributed consensus algorithm is proposed. To this end, a temperature-energy model derived by the temperature-load model and load-energy model is addressed first. On this basis, an improved indoor thermal preference indicator is proposed. It is followed by the distributed consensus algorithm based on the alternating direction method of multipliers for optimizing the proposed indicator. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by a case study on the multizone building system.

The economic dispatch problem of power systems, which is typically based on multi-agent networks, often necessitates conditions like full graph connectivity. However, as the scale of power systems expands, maintaining full graph connectivity in communication systems could result in increased costs and communication burdens. Consequently, this paper investigates a distributed finite-step c o nsensus m e thod t h at incorporates geographical region division, aiming to achieve economical power allocation without the need for full graph connectivity. In this method, we initially derive a Laplace matrix from the distributed topology of generators in multi-agent power systems. Subsequently, we construct another Laplace matrix by geographically dividing regions, thereby illustrating the communication relationships between these regions. Subsequently, we calculate the incremental cost of each region, taking into account the power constraints of the generators. Moreover, to expedite convergence, we employ a distributed finite-step c o nsensus algorithm to address the economic dispatch problem, leveraging the divided regional incremental costs. Finally, we validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method through results on various multi-agent topologies and comparisons with other iterative algorithms.

The traditional Raft consensus algorithm is widely used in private chains due to its crash-tolerant feature, but it cannot solve many problems caused by the malicious behaviour of Byzantine nodes. Based on an in-depth analysis of existing research results, this paper proposes a consensus algorithm based on the Raft algorithm with enhanced Byzantine resistance and crash tolerance: Re-Raft (Reliability-Raft), in order to solve the core problems of Byzantine nodes identity forgery and illegal replacement of leaders. A fault heartbeat logging mechanism is introduced to prevent Byzantine nodes from obtaining the majority of votes by broadcasting fault heartbeat logs; and a node reliability assessment algorithm is proposed to accurately assess the reliability of nodes by combining the continuity penalty weights and the time decay factor to reduce communication redundancy triggered by frequent node failures. The experimental results show that compared with the native Raft, the Re-Raft algorithm achieves a significant improvement in Byzantine fault-tolerance capability.

The goal of this study is to investigate the control of multi-agent systems (MAS) using consensus algorithms, which have gained important attention due to their applications in robotics. We explored the basics of graph theory to understand the network structure of MAS and categorized the different types of MAS with examples. This study focuses on consensus algorithms, testing their principles, types, and simulations. We used MATLAB to simulate and implement first-order consensus algorithms, validating our personal code against the results from the ODE45 solver (ordinary differential equation solver) and AI-generated (Artificial intelligence generated) code. The results demonstrate convergence and accuracy for all methods, confirming that our approach is feasible and reliable. This research presents a deeper understanding of MAS control and offers a robust strategy for future real-world practical applications.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, people not only need to pay attention to their own safety and health, but also need insurance services to protect themselves. However, there are some problems in the traditional insurance system. First, the information of clients is incomplete or untrue. Second, privacy is compromised. Third, transaction information is tampered with. These problems lead to various insurance disputes. Therefore, this paper develops an insurance system based on blockchain by using the characteristics of decentralization, transparency, and immutability. The construction of the system is divided into three steps. First, insurance contracts are published on the Merkel tree. Next, RSA encryption technology is used to protect clients' information security. Last, SHA256 secure hash algorithm and consensus mechanism are used to resist the external attack of the blockchain. On this basis, this paper designs and develops a safe insurance system. Also, it studies the performance of insurance systems and the consensus mechanism of blockchain. The former compares the differences between the traditional insurance system and the blockchain insurance system in each performance index during operation. The result shows that some performance indices of blockchain insurance system are lower than those of traditional insurance system. However, because of its higher security than traditional insurance system, blockchain technology is selected as the core technology of this system. Also, two consensus algorithms, PoW and PBFT, compares with each other in blockchain technology. The experimental results show that the PoW consensus algorithm is more suitable for blockchain insurance system.
