At present, with the high proportion of new energy and power electronic equipment connected to the power grid, battery energy storage system (BESS) has been widely concerned as a new frequency regulation mean. Aiming at the characteristics of high energy storage capacity and power demand on the power generation side, a distributed coordinated control strategy of multiple distributed energy storage joint participation in automatic generation control (AGC) of the power grid considering the system operation economy is proposed. Firstly, the AGC dynamic model of regional power grid with distributed energy storage is established;On this basis, the operating cost model of energy storage participating in the secondary frequency regulation of the power grid is constructed;Finally, with the goal of minimizing the operating cost of energy storage frequency regulation, distributed consistency algorithm is used to coordinate the control of distributed energy storage, so as to realize the refined management of their respective output power. The simulation results show that the control strategy can give full play to the technical characteristics of different distributed energy storage, while ensuring the frequency stability of the power grid, avoiding the excessive loss of electricity in the energy storage system and realizing economic operation.

Distributed optimization and scheduling strategy for source load storage distribution grid based on alliance chain

With the high penetration of renewable energy, the addition of a large number of energy storage units, and flexible loads, the source-load-storage structure of active distribution networks is becoming increasingly complex, making optimization and scheduling more challenging. In response to issues as difficult global information acquisition, less consideration of flexible load and energy storage unit access, individual deception, and insufficient security in the optimization scheduling process of active distribution networks, this paper constructed a distribution network optimization scheduling model that includes sources, loads, and storage. It proposed a distributed optimization scheduling strategy for source-load-storage distribution networks, combined with alliance chains. This strategy is based on the FISCO BCOS consortium chain platform, with blockchain multi-agent nodes forming a consortium chain network. The consistency variables are the incremental cost of distributed power generation and the incremental benefits of flexible loads. Distributed scheduling calculations were carried out using a consensus algorithm that includes leadership nodes. By combining the data storage mechanism and consensus algorithm advantages of the consortium chain, the centrality of leadership nodes is eliminated, achieving optimal power allocation in the distribution network at a minimum economic cost. The simulation results show that the distributed optimization scheduling strategy proposed in this paper can achieve optimal allocation of minimum cost in the distribution network and converge quickly in various scenarios such as non-flexible load fluctuations, leader node switching, node joining or leaving, and changes in power exchange instruction in the distribution network. It demonstrates good robustness and stability.

With the continuous development of the global economic level, global energy consumption is also on the rise, and the global power industry is faced with a number of formidable challenges including load growth, low energy efficiency, high power quality, and environmental protection. Despite the fact that distributed energy cannot be directly connected to the power grid, the concept of the microgrid (MG) is proposed to make better use of distributed energy and reduce its effect on the power grid. The low cost and high controllability of DC MGs have piqued the interest of academicians both at home and abroad. If DC MGs are to be implemented in real-world engineering, a stability control strategy is required;therefore, research on voltage stability and coordinated control of DC MGs is extremely important and promising. This paper summarizes the current research on the voltage control strategy of the DC MG from the perspective of the voltage control strategy of the DC MG. Lastly, it is proposed that the future development of DC MGs will be more focused on intelligence and control precision and that the consistency algorithm combined with the benefits of centralized control and distributed control can effectively aid the future development of DC MGs, taking into account the grid's dependability and control precision.

A Formation Control Method for AUV Group Under Communication Delay

This article presents a consistency control algorithm for the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) group combined with the leader-follower approach under communication delay. First, the six-degree-of-freedom (DoF) model of AUV is represented, and the graph theory is used to describe the communication topology of the AUV group. Especially, a hybrid communication topology is introduced to adapt to large formation control. Second, the distributed control law is constructed by combining the consensus theory with the leader-follower method. The consistency control algorithms for homogeneous and heterogeneous AUV groups based on the leader-follower approach under communication delay are proposed. Stability criteria are established to guarantee the consensus based on the Gershgorin disk theorem and Nyquist law, respectively. Finally, numerous simulation experiments are carried out to show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed algorithms.

A Distributed Two-Level Control Strategy for DC Microgrid Considering Safety of Charging Equipment

A direct current (DC) microgrid containing a photovoltaic (PV) system, energy storage and charging reduces the electric energy conversion link and improves the operational efficiency of the system, which has a broad development prospect. The instability and randomness of PV and charging loads pose a challenge to the safe operation of DC microgrid systems. The safety of grid operation and charging need to be taken into account. However, few studies have integrated the safety of charging devices with grid operation. In this paper, a two-level control strategy is used for the DC microgrid equipped with hybrid energy storage systems (ESSs) with the charging equipment's safety as the entry point. The primary control strategy combines the health of the charging equipment with droop control to effectively solve the problem of common DC bus voltage deviation and power distribution. The consistency the control algorithm for multiple groups of hybrid ESSs ensures the local side DC bus voltage level and ensures reasonable power distribution among the ESSs. The simulation results in MATLAB/Simulink show that the control strategy can achieve power allocation with stable voltage levels in the case of fluctuating health of the charging equipment, which guarantees the safe operation of the microgrid and charging equipment.

With the development of communication technology, the level of informatization and intelligence of energy systems continues to increase. The integrated energy system (IES) considering the mixed energy supply of electric, heat, gas and information is an effective approach to improve the rational allocation of energy. The optimized configuration of network power flow can not only improve the efficiency of energy utilization, but also reduce the network redundancy as much as possible through a high level of coupling. In this paper, based on improved discrete consistency algorithm, a coordinating optimization method is proposed that aims to optimize the multi-area interconnected IES. First, an IES model considering the mixed energy supply of electric, heat and gas is constructed in a single region. Based on the model, an objective function with the maximum return is established on the premise of assuming that the prices of electric, heat and gas can be used as an economic means to adjust the energy utilization. Then, the consistency theory is applied to the IES, and the improved discrete consistency algorithm is used to optimize the objective function. Finally, a certain region IES is taken as an example in Northeast China. The case study demonstrates that the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method.

Control of the Distributed Hybrid Energy Storage System Considering the Equivalent SOC

A hybrid energy storage system (HESS) consists of two or more types of energy storage components and the power electronics circuit to connect them. Therefore, the real-time capacity of this system highly depends on the state of the system and cannot be simply evaluated with traditional battery models. To tackle this challenge, an equivalent state of charge (ESOC) which reflects the remaining capacity of a HESS unit in a specific operation mode, is proposed in this paper. Furthermore, the proposed ESOC is applied to the control of the distributed HESS which contains several units with their own local targets. To optimally distribute the overall power target among these units, a sparse communication network-based hierarchical control framework is proposed. This framework considers the distributed control and optimal power distribution in the HESS from two aspects - the power output capability and the ESOC balance. Based on the primary droop control, the total power is allocated according to the maximum output capacity of each unit, and the secondary control is used to adjust the power from the perspective of ESOC balance. Therefore, each energy storage unit can be controlled to meet the local power demand of the microgrid. Simulation results based on MATLAB/Simulink verify the effectiveness of the application of the proposed equivalent SOC.

In order to solve the problems of self-collision, obstacle avoidance and formation communication architecture of UAVs, a distributed formation control strategy was proposed using the combination of graph theory and artificial potential field theory. Firstly, the UAV formation model of fixed undirected communication topology was established. For the issues that may occur such as deadlocks and formation safety, the segmented idea, rotation force and potential force between the machines were introduced to improve the force function of the potential field, which made the formation realize obstacle avoidance and trajectory pre-planning accurately. Secondly, the state error of UAV was corrected according to the consistency theory, and the formation cooperative obstacle avoidance control law was designed to achieve the desired state consistency and track planning. Finally, the convergence consistency of the proposed control algorithm was proved by constructing Hamilton function. The simulation results show that the UAV formation can avoid obstacles effectively and achieve the desired consistency quickly.

Driven by the strong demands in the green buildings for saving energy consumption and increasing the human thermal comfort, an improved indoor thermal preference indicator based on distributed consensus algorithm is proposed. To this end, a temperature-energy model derived by the temperature-load model and load-energy model is addressed first. On this basis, an improved indoor thermal preference indicator is proposed. It is followed by the distributed consensus algorithm based on the alternating direction method of multipliers for optimizing the proposed indicator. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by a case study on the multizone building system.
