Energy efficiency together with user satisfaction are the two major considerations in the contemporary lighting systems. Satisfying these considerations is only possible through lighting control. The current paper presents a lighting control system which operation is based on genetic algorithm optimization. The objective of the optimization task is the maximum use of the natural daylight, thus making the need of complementary artificial light minimum. At the same time the lighting control system is designed so that it meets the occupants' lighting preferences. The hardware of the proposed system consists of simple controllers and allows both on/off lighting control and dimming of the light sources. Also for assuring correct operation of the lighting control system, the implementation of two photo sensors is considered - one for measurement of the vertical illuminance and another one for measurement of the horizontal illuminance outdoors.

The Population Growth, Land-use Development and the Increase in Vehicle Ownership in big cities have caused an increase in Travel Demand and the volume of vehicles passing through Urban Routes. Travel Time in the urban route network due to increase in congestion in one of the most important problems in Metropolises. A considerable part of Travel Time in the Metropolitan routes network is related to delay time in intersections. Thus, controlling methods for intersections in order to decrease such delays is of a great importance. The application of Fuzzy Logic as a control basis in engineering issues has a proper background. In this study, a method for controlling such signalized intersections has been assessed and proposed using Fuzzy Method. Various Experiments in simulated environments has shown that as for different traffic conditions, this algorithm could considerably be better than the conventional pre-time control algorithms and actuated ones.

We investigate the singularity for the anthropomorphic robotic arm and develop an algorithm to handle the calculation. It is demonstrated that although the limit characteristics and the interior characteristics of these robotic arms can be distinguished through an examination of their unique properties, it is still not possible to obtain decent kinematic decoupling properties for modern automated arms. In light of this, the methodology of our calculation is changed to deal with these two cases. The control contribution is altered to again allow bending of the robotic arm from the solitary straight stance. The interior singularities are taken into consideration in the calculation to control against invalid spatial movement of the automated arm. By incorporating fuzzy control theorem, we demonstrate that modeling system enables the robotic arm to move within solitary areas and return back to certain locations, so that the usable workspace is expanded. The viability of the proposed calculation method for reproduction and use in ongoing control tests is proven.

The modified algorithm of HSIC which is called Human-Like Intelligent control is pointed out in this paper, it divides control process into three stages: initial stage, adjusting stage and eliminating disturbance stage. The different control algorithms will be used in different stage, the control method do its best to simulate human control intelligences more nearly. The test results are given, it proves that the experimental result of the prototype algorithm is relatively stable hut oscillating, the experimental result of the modified algorithm is better than the prototype algorithm, there is a consistency among stability, fast response and the best accuracy. The HLIC can be used in the process control.

Based on the PID(Proportional-Integral-Differential) control algorithm, by analyzing the control system with control variable varying in the form of arbitrary function, a simple control method with control variable varying in the form of arbitrary function was presented, i.e. PID control algorithm with set value which is constant in small zone. The paper introduced the mathematical model and the parameter tuning method of the PID control algorithm briefly, analyzed and the selection principle of the parameters of the advance control, lag control, ideal control. And used the MATLAB to simulate and verify this algorithm, the simulation results are satisfactory. Tests were carried out on different equipments and in different experimental conditions;results of the experiment are successful. Then this method is applied to the practical engineering practice, proves that it makes remarkable effects on the practical utilization.
