A novel non-sinusoidal oscillator and synchronous control model for steel continuous casting mold

To improve the surface quality of round billet further and realize the waveform function, modification ratio, oscillation frequency and amplitude of non-sinusoidal oscillation adjusted on line, a mechanical oscillator for continuous casting mold driven by a servomotor was proposed. Firstly, the working principle of the oscillator was described. Secondly, the piecewise functions of non-sinusoidal oscillation waveform were given, and the angular speed of servomotor to realize non-sinusoidal oscillation waveform was presented. At last, based on the piecewise function of non-sinusoidal oscillation waveform, the calculation methods of technological parameters were provided, the multi-technological parameter curve was obtained and the synchronous control model among casting speed, oscillation frequency and amplitude was determined. The results are shown that the technological parameters of the non-sinusoidal oscillation are superior to the sinusoidal oscillation, which can shallow oscillation marks and improve the round billet surface quality significantly.

As bottom-blowing O-2-CaO converter steelmaking process enables rapid slag formation, efficient phosphorus removal, and improved steel quality. It has significant strategic significance for the greening and high-quality development of the iron and steel industry. In this study, we collected field actual smelting data, established a mass and energy model, and developed a bottom-blowing O-2-CaO control model with Visual *** 2019 (VS2019) as the development tool. The application results indicated that bottom-blowing lime powder flow accuracy is +/- 50 kg/min, time accuracy is +/- 30 s, and the degree of automation reaches more than 90%. Real-time monitoring allows for dynamic adjustment of the converter's O-2-CaO bottom-blowing and accurate control, improving steelmaking production efficiency.

Mould Pollution control model of Aluminum Alloy Equipment Considering Ultraviolet Radiation Intensity

Due to the particularity of the aluminum alloy equipment material, it is extremely susceptible to mold corrosion and corrosion in the case of external environmental pollution, affecting the performance of the equipment. Taking the aluminum alloy equipment contaminated by mold as the research object, the control model of mold contamination was constructed under different ultraviolet irradiation intensity. This includes separating and purifying from corrosion samples of aluminum alloy, and obtaining test culture strains, measuring the change of pH value in the corrosion medium, and then studying the growth characteristics of Aspergillus niger in pure Chagas medium. Through electrochemical testing and surface morphology analysis, the growth and corrosion behavior of mold on the surface of aluminum alloy were studied. It is essential to change the irradiation intensity and irradiation time of ultraviolet ray to study its control effect on aluminum alloy mold corrosion. The experimental results show that the sterilization effect is the most effective and economical when the UV intensity is 84000 mu W/cm(2) and the irradiation time is 30 min. An optimal control model for Covid-19 spread with impacts of vaccination and facemask

A non-linear system of differential equations was used to explain the spread of the COVID-19 virus and a SEIQR model was developed and tested to provide insights into the spread of the pandemic. This article, which is related to the aforementioned work as well as other work covering variations of SIR models, Hermite Wavelets Transform, and also the Generalized Compartmental COVID-19 model, we develop a mathematical control model and apply it to represent optimal vaccination strategy against COVID-19 using Pontryagin's Maximum Principle and also factoring in the effect of facemasks on the spread of the virus. As background work, we analyze the mathematical epidemiology model with the facemask effect on both reproduction number and stability, we also analyze the difference between confirmed COVID-19 cases of the Quarantine class and anonymous cases of the Infectious class that is expected to recover. We also apply control theory to mine insights for effective virus spread prevention strategies. Our models are validated using Matlab mathematical model validation tools. Statistical tests against data from Jordan are used to validate our work including the modeling of the relation between the facemask effect and COVID-19 spread. Furthermore, the relation between control measure xi, cost, and Infected cases is also studied.

In this paper, the hybrid turbocharging system of vehicle diesel engine is taken as the research object, and the transient dynamic equation of the hybrid turbocharging system is derived. Then the fuzzy control technology is proposed to adjust the high-speed motor of the hybrid turbocharging system. In the design of fuzzy PID controller, the control principle of fuzzy PID controller is analyzed, and the fuzzy rules, fuzzy reasoning and defuzzification are formulated to ensure the accuracy of the model. The turbocharged engine gas system model established in Simulink is verified by using high-precision engine dynamics simulation software. The simulation results show that the parameter adjustment and fuzzy control are conducive to the improvement of the transient characteristics of the hybrid turbocharged system.

To investigate the problem of slab camber in rough rolling of hot strip mills, a 1580 mm roughing mill based on factors including the wedge of the incoming hot rolled slab, running deviation of the slab, the longitudinal stiffness difference between the two sides of the mill, and plane shape bending. Furthermore, the parameters of lateral flow in the model of plane shape control are systematically analysed. By using ABAQUS/Explicit, a roll-strip coupled dynamic finite element model is established and the simulation results of plane shape control are validated. After being used in a hot rolling mill, the hit rate of control of the slab camber is increased from 80.20 to 87.99%. The control level of the slab camber is improved and the problem of slab camber is relieved by the proposed camber control model. Theoretical analysis and field application results indicate that the camber control strategy is effective.

In order to improve the control effect of the marine resource exploration streamer control model, a control model based on artificial neural network was proposed. First, the basic concepts and composition structure of marine resource exploration streamer control, the working process of the digibird cascade control system are introduced. The control mathematical model based on the cascade system was established and the principle analysis of the marine resource exploration streamer control was completed. Second, the basic concept and application of artificial neural network were studied. A form of artificial neural network was selected to design the control algorithm. Finally, the artificial neural network was used to calculate and its effect in the marine resource exploration streamer control model was verified. The simulation experiment results show that the designed model has good control effect on marine resource exploration streamer, and its control efficiency is high.

At present, many industrial carrier devices utilize linear motor sliders. However, a heavier load requires a linear motor (which is an example of a direct drive device) to get higher power, compared with a rotary motor with a ball screw slider (which is an example of an indirect drive device). In order to obtain higher power at a lower cost, a linear slider with multiple motors can be utilized, for example, a gantry type linear motor slider. Moving the gantry type slider requires two linear motors that are set up in parallel to enable synchronization control. Some conventional synchronization control methods have been proposed for the parallel twin linear slider;however, a large-scaled gantry type linear motor slider has two unique problems: mechanical distortion caused by the limitations of installation environment and coupling caused by joints with low stiffness. This paper proposes a control model to solve these problems, and an identification method of each parameter. Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) have been widely used in manufacturing and supply chain management for material handling. The efficiency of the material handling process has been the bottleneck of the production manufacturing. By applying maturing technologies such as sensing, cloud computing, and wireless communication, the efficiency and the reliability of the material delivery could be enhanced. In this paper, a cyber-physical system-based smart control model for shopfloor material handling is designed. In contrast to the traditional vehicle control methods, AGVs and base stations at intersections can communicate and interact with each other and share the real-time information online. Then, the smart control model, which consists of car-following model, overtaking model, and collision warning and avoidance model, is designed and developed. The presented model is demonstrated by a set of simulations and an experiment, which proved that the overall task completion efficiency and the utilization of the road are improved.

Through the bionic principle based on the relevant knowledge of robotics, BSR (Bionic flying squirrel robot) is designed by using the experience of flying squirrel's movement of body structure and mechanism. Besides, control model is proposed for pitching movement. In this paper, the mechanism of the robot is introduced first, by which we know the robot is designed by integration and has nine degrees of freedom, which can realize the wall-climbing and gliding movement functions. Then dynamic analysis is used to build a robot kinematics model of gliding pitch movement. Furthermore, the control model of gliding pitch movement is discussed. Finally, kinematics simulation, wind tunnel and outfield experiments verify the control model achieving the gliding movement. The results show BSR has a good gliding ability based on pitching control model.
