A control and measurement system (CMS) is designed to ensure the reliable operation in the long pulsed high magnetic field facility supplied by lead-acid batteries. The CMS is mainly composed of a Programmable Logic controller (PLC), a fault monitor and protection circuit, a signal processing and data acquisition unit, a local triggering sequence generator and the main control program. The system architecture and kernel parts of the CMS are analyzed and described in detail. The results prove that the designed CMS could perform efficiently and reliably.

The advantages of open source technology have led to their ever-growing utilization in advanced scenarios like the Industry 4.0, the Industrial Cyber-Physical systems (ICPSs) and Smart Grids, among others. Concerning open source hardware, the platform Arduino receives great attention from academicians, hobbyists and even industrial practitioners. This paper aims at providing a panoramic overview of recent scientific literature reporting the use of Arduino in such challenging scenarios, proving its validity for control and measurement purposes. There are multiple topplings of construction machines with high center of gravity each year, even if only Germany is considered. The reason is usually human failure, but also soil failure due to base failure and slope failure. An adjusted measurement and controlsystem could support the machine operators with warnings or counter measures at the right time to prevent an impending toppling. To test this hypothesis, a possible measurement and controlsystem has been implemented and tested within model tests on models made of Lego Mindstorms. The investigated model, based on a drilling rig for special deep construction purposes, has three degrees of freedom and can autonomously recognize dangerous situations and initiate suitable counter-measures, even with only a few sensors and a simple measurement and controlsystem. This demonstrates the functionality of this approach in principle, which can then be applied to more complex systems.

Eccentric mechanism is the core of the high deflecting well trajectory control tools, the control and measurement accuracy of the eccentric mechanism decides the accuracy of the whole tool. In this paper, on the basis of the eccentric mechanism's principle, developed a set of method and apparatus to measure the space location of the internal and external eccentric ring and control the rotation angle by using Hall sensors and electromagnetic clutch device, so that could measure and control the bending direction and offset size accurately. Additionally, the paper analyzed Underground-Ground interactive communication interface and encoding rules, completing a real-time monitoring closed loop drilling system.

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem měřícího a regulačního systému vzduchového zemního výměníku tepla umístěném v areálu FSI VUT v Brně. Systém je realizován ve vývojovém prostředí LabVIEW a používá moduly CompactDAQ od National Instrument. Vyvíjený systém podstoupil zkušební provoz, během kterého byly navrženy dodatečné úpravy měřící aparatury, pro určení dalších veličin usnadňující budoucí vyhodnocení přínosu zemního výměníku tepla. Bylo také navrženo několik provozních režimů, které řeší různé způsoby řízení vzduchového zemního výměníku tepla.
