A method of athlete foul action recognition based on dtw algorithm

There may be various foul actions in different sports events, which vary in form, speed, and rhythm, increasing the difficulty of action recognition. Therefore, a dtw algorithm based athlete foul action recognition method is proposed. Select the OV7670 camera to collect athlete action images, extract image contour information, and use it as a feature of athlete foul actions. Based on the collected images, evenly sample the contours of the images to obtain contour feature points. Optimise the dtw algorithm from three aspects: reference template modelling, distortion calculation, and determining the optimal path. Use the extracted action feature sequence as the input of the dtw algorithm to output the recognition results of athlete foul actions. The experimental results show that the distortion of this method is as low as 0.58, indicating that it can accurately identify athlete foul actions and has high application value.

Design of Oral English Intelligent Evaluation System Based on dtw algorithm

The accuracy of the existing spoken English intelligent evaluation system is not high, and the spoken English evaluation effect is poor. To improve the accuracy and speed of spoken English evaluation, this paper puts forward the design and research of oral English Intelligent Evaluation System based on dtw algorithm. The dtw algorithm is applied to recognize spoken English speech, and a new spoken English intelligent evaluation system is designed. The hardware units are DSP chip selection unit, spoken English audio acquisition unit and its external memory unit;the software modules are spoken English speech preprocessing module, spoken English speech recognition module and spoken English intelligent evaluation module. Through the design of hardware unit and software module, the operation of spoken English intelligent evaluation system is realized. The experimental results show that the oral evaluation accuracy of this system is 65.63% -76.58%, and the response time is 8.23 ms - 13.57 ms, with high accuracy, high evaluation efficiency and improving the effect of spoken English intelligent evaluation.

An Optimized dtw algorithm Using the RMSE Approach to Classify the Liquids in Ka-Band

In this paper, a new optimized algorithm is presented to classify the liquids with high-level accuracy using raw data which show the transmission parameter of liquids. The free space measurement method, one of the microwave spectroscopy methods, has been chosen to collect the parameter for use in detecting illegal and explosive liquids. The aim is to classify the liquids that the passenger can choose with his/her plane journey. To classify and identify these liquids, instead of a multivariate data analysis method, a simpler dynamic time warping algorithm method is proposed. It is advantageous to intervene in this algorithm to perform the classification process better. It will be able to determine the most contradictory similarities among the signals collected from liquids and perform the best classification process. Thanks to this feature, it is expected to give better results than the algorithms proposed earlier. Because, it is thought that the liquids can be classified by the parameter which has unique properties of liquids. Furthermore, this algorithm will allow an intermediate group of suspicious liquids to be detected in another group. The performance of the proposed model is discussed in terms of its potential for reducing the classification problem and composing a database which can be used to identify the un/known materials easily.

There is a problem with incorrect performance placement in the application study that occurs after the power distribution network assessment, which is a vital part of the complete evaluation process. In a thorough assessment approach, the phase limit is an obstacle that the conventional Associative rule mining algorithm cannot overcome, leading to inadequate results. The outcome is an assessment of the comprehensive evaluation technique's application to the post-evaluation of distribution networks and the provision of an evaluation method based on the dtw algorithm. Starting with the application study in the post-evaluation of power distribution network's needs to decrease interference factors, the indicators are split according to the excavate theory, which is used to discover the influencing elements. Next, we use the underlying theory to develop a dtw algorithm application study for a power distribution network design that has undergone post-evaluation. We then carefully analyze the results of this research. When comparing the two algorithms for post-evaluation power distribution network accuracy and time of influencing factors, the dtw approach performs better than the conventional Associative rule mining technique, according to the MATLAB simulation findings. © 2024 IEEE.

Learning Tai Chi requires long-term practice and guidance, which is difficult for beginners. This article proposes a Tai Chi-assisted training and scoring method based on motion capture technology and a dynamic time warping (dtw) algorithm. Firstly, by using motion capture technology, the key point data of Tai Chi movements can be accurately captured. Then, using the dtw algorithm, the learner’s action sequence is compared and matched with the standard Tai Chi action sequence in order to evaluate the learner’s action accuracy and fluency. Learners can promptly correct incorrect actions and improve the accuracy and fluency of their actions. This method has significant advantages in accuracy and reliability. In summary, the Tai Chi-assisted training and scoring method based on motion capture technology and dtw algorithm provides an effective auxiliary tool for Tai Chi learners, which can help them better master the techniques and essence of Tai Chi. This study is of great significance for promoting the popularization of Tai Chi and improving the learning effectiveness of Tai Chi. © 2023 IGI Global. All rights reserved.

Based on the mobile era, with the rapid development of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence technology, human-computer interaction based on intelligent voice has become one of the main stream in people's daily life. Taking the intelligent voice interaction technology as a clue, this article first elaborates the practical application of intelligent voice human-computer interaction in smart homes and other daily life fields. After analyzing this, it is found that even intelligent voice has greatly facilitated people Daily life, but there are still shortcomings, that is, the machine cannot efficiently and accurately recognize the language commands given by people, and there is a voice recognition barrier. Secondly, we learned about the dtw algorithm by reading related books and literature, and found that it solves the problem of template matching with different pronunciation lengths, but the recognition efficiency and accuracy are not high, so we propose improvements based on the original intelligent voice interaction technology. The method is to improve the local path restriction and improve the efficiency of the dtw algorithm. The purpose is to make the machine more intelligent, improve its ability to recognize and understand text and language, and achieve barrier-free communication between humans and machines. The research method can provide a feasible reference for the improvement of intelligent voice interaction technology. The advantage is that it not only promotes the development of intelligent voice human-computer interaction, but also ensures that people can have a more intelligent and convenient life.

Quantitative algorithmic examination of the LR04 oxygen-isotope record using cluster analysis and dynamic time warping (dtw) reveals significant new understandings of changes in glaciation and sea level during the Quaternary. For example, four relatively recent and major glacial stages, MIS 2 (or 2-4), 6, 12 and 16, emerge as a distinct group and suggest an Early Brunhes Shift to more extreme glacial stages about 660 thousand years ago. Secondly, two nominally interglacial stages, MIS 3 and 23, group with glacial stages. Of these two, recognition of MIS 3 as part of the last glacial phase is not a novel finding. However, recognition of MIS 23 as a glacial stage is significant because viewing MIS 22, 23, and 24 as one glacial phase formalizes a similar to 100,000-year glacial cycle from 960 to 859 ka. That result pushes the Mid-Pleistocene Transition, when the periodicity of climate cycles changed from 41 thousand to 100 thousand years, back to no later than 970 ka, counter to previous views that the Mid-Pleistocene Transition could have been as recent as 700 thousand years ago.

Audio mining is a speaker independent speech processing technique and is related to data mining. Keyword spotting plays an important role in audio mining. Keyword spotting is retrieval of all instances of a given keyword in spoken utterances. It is well suited to data mining tasks that process large amount of speech such as telephone routing and to audio document indexing. Feature extraction is the first step for all speech processing tasks. This Paper presents an approach for keyword spotting in isolated Tamil utterances using Multidimensional Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient feature vectors and dtw algorithm. The accuracy of keyword spotting is measured with 12D, 26D and 39D MFCC feature vectors for month names in Tamil language and the performances of the multidimensional MFCCs are compared. The code is developed in the MA TLAB environment and performs the identification satisfactorily.

Objective: In order to reduce the subjectivity and manual costs of rehabilitation assessment by therapists, this study proposes an upper limb rehabilitation evaluation method based on an improved Dynamic Time Warping (dtw) algorithm combined with Surface electromyography(sEMG) signals. The aim is to assist therapists in accurately assessing the rehabilitation progress of patients. Method: sEMG signals were collected during the motion process, and motion data was recorded. Comparative analysis of the motion data was conducted using an improved dtw algorithm. Experiment: The data for the experiment was collected from 5 volunteers from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Grip force sensors were used to record sEMG signals under different exertion levels. A total of 300 movements were performed and motion data was recorded. Comparative analysis of the motion data was conducted using the improved dtw algorithm. Results: The data obtained after calculation using the dtw algorithm showed variations as the grip force sensor displayed different exertion levels. This indicates that the improved dtw algorithm combined with sEMG signals can be used to assess muscle rehabilitation conditions.

End-effector self-reconfiguring live working robot autonomously replaces the end actuator of the robot arm for different tasks, and at the same time completes high-altitude work tasks according to the designed motion plan. In order to ensure uninterrupted operation on power transmission lines, the research methods to enhance the efficiency of robot arm work while reducing energy consumption is of significant importance. Based on this, the paper proposes a time-energy optimal trajectory optimization method for a six-joint robotic arm of a reconfigurable robot for power line maintenance based on Fourier series, taking into account the influence of both robot kinematics and dynamics on the motion trajectory, the positions, velocities, accelerations and joint torques are all considered as constraints. Time and energy are chosen as objective functions. By utilizing the Lagrangian equation method establish an energy-based robot dynamic model in generalized coordinates. The motion curves of each joint are obtained by the cubic spline interpolation method in the joint space, and the boundary conditions of the motion curves are optimized by Fourier series, so as to establish the optimal trajectory mathematical model. The time-energy optimal trajectory planning problem is transformed into a convex optimization problem, the dtw (Dynamic Time Warping) algorithm is used to regularize the difference between the time function and the energy function in the displacement sequence under the known trajectory, and the number of terms in the Fourier series of the minimum hour of the objective function is obtained by the GA-DQN (Genetic algorithm-Deep Q-Network) algorithm. Finally, with the actuator replacement at the end of the robotic arm as the operation objective, the time-energy optimal trajectory is obtained from the desired positional attitude at the initial and termination of the end of the robotic arm.
