Since March 2020 COVID-19 cases are being reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). data visualization is a powerful tool in decision making. The paper deals with visualizations of COVID-19 data which may be used to help authorities in decision making. The data pertaining to cases reported in KSA during the period from March to 20th July 2020 have been used in the study. The analysis carried out based on active cases, daily cases and death cases helps authorities in taking decision regarding improving the medical facilities and easing or imposing restrictions. Interactive heatmaps, tables, maps and plots are used for visualization.

data visualization in graphical form can help organization to view the summary of their data, which facilitates better pattern recognition to derive any decision-making solution. Its important aspect to include in a survey or questionnaire application as the result of the data collection should be presentable in different format. E-Latihan System was developed as a digitalized version of traditional pen and paper evaluation form management, but the current data reporting modules lack in providing the administrator with better analysis representation. The objective of this paper is to outline general requirements for a data visualization reporting module based on E-Latihan's case study in order to address the stated problem. At the same time, to examines the use and impact of data visualization to Perak Syariah Judicial Department. The result form this study shows that, data visualization able to help identified personnel in making quality decision making and time fact based decision.

Dynamic data visualization can be a very useful analytical tool for discovering insights in complex real-world data sets with high dimensionality and large variety of data types. We leverage publicly available data sets from Washington State's Public Education System to demonstrate usefulness of data visualization as a tool for analysis and effective decision making. We created "querybuilder", a web-based interface which allows the user to generate ad-hoc queries. Our online inference system efficiently generates dynamic visualizations for user-specified queries. We then address the question of how to select an appropriate visualization type that would be best suited for the result of a specific query on the given data set. The main motivation for this work is developing a rule based inference system to automatically select the appropriate visualization type.

A rational cubic spline is developed to provide smooth curves(positive, monotone and convex). To control the shape of the curve, two families of parameters are introduced in its representation. Three schemes using rational cubic spline are elaborated to obtain positive curves through positive data, monotone curves through monotone data and convex curves through convex data. As well as degree of smoothness attained is C-2.

This paper describes two examples of the use of volumetric data visualization techniques for the exploration of remotely sensed hyper-dimensional data. The first example presents an Airborne Visible IR Imaging Spectrometer hyperspectral data set, which is organized as a stack of 2D slices, as a 3D cube. The second example extends the investigation by using volume-rendering algorithms to extract features from a multi-temporal Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer data set.

The Validation Network (VN) prototype for the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission compares data from the its predecessor Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) satellite's Precipitation Radar (PR) to ground radar (GR) measurements from U. S. and international operational weather radars. This prototype is a major component of the GPM Ground Validation System (GVS). The VN provides a means for the precipitation measurement community to identify and resolve significant discrepancies between the GR observations and similar satellite observations. The VN prototype is based on research results and computer code Liao et al. [1]. Morris and Schwaller [3] describe the VN prototype and initial results in detail. This paper describes software tools that have been developed for visualization and statistical analysis of the original and volume matched PR and GR data.

This article begins by tracing the evolution of data visualization from the fields of aesthetics to areas of creative practice, arguing that the emergence of big data presents creative potential for digital artists. Whereas conventional information visualization emphasizes the effective understanding of data, aesthetics considers the possibility that visualization can enhance the experience of data and support the acquisition of knowledge. In expressing an artistic intent or form, data-based creative practices synthesize and build upon techniques in communications and aesthetics. The article provides a review of recent digital art projects involving big data and suggests further directions for creative practice in an era of data proliferation.

As many other kinds of simulation experiments, simulations of computer networks tend to generate high volumes of output data. While the collection and the statistical processing of these data are challenges in and of themselves, creating meaningful visualizations from them is as much an art as it is a science. A sophisticated body of knowledge in information design and data visualization has been developed and continues to evolve. However, many of the visualizations created by the network simulation community tend to be less than optimal at creating compelling, informative narratives from experimental output data. The primary contribution of this paper is to explore some of the design dimensions in visualization and some advances in the field that are applicable to network simulation. We also discuss developments in the creation of the visualization subsystem in the Simulation Automation Framework for Experiments ( SAFE) in the context of best practices for data visualization.

In the era of information explosion, processing and analyzing large-scale and high-dimensional data sets has become a big challenge for data mining and machine learning. In order to obtain and intuitively understand the information underlying the big data, an effective visualization technique is on demand. Many successful visualization techniques project high-dimensional data sets into low-dimensional spaces so that we can present data points in scatter plots, histograms or parallel coordinate plots. in this paper, we propose a new algorithm called PCNE, the algorithm first performs a probabilistic clustering algorithm for coarse classification on the data sets, and then reconstruct the joint probability with the heuristic information of classification results and neighborhood relationship. Our experimental results on the public data sets demonstrate that the PCNE algorithm outperforms the classical embedding algorithms in revealing both local and global structures of data.

This work presents an improved interactive data visualization interface based on a mixture of the outcomes of dimensionality reduction (DR) methods. Broadly, it works as follows: The user can input the mixture weighting factors through a visual and intuitive interface with a primary-light-colors-based model (Red, Green, and Blue). By design, such a mixture is a weighted sum of the color tone. Additionally, the low-dimensional representation space produced by DR methods are graphically depicted using scatter plots powered via an interactive data-driven visualization. To do so, pairwise similarities are calculated and employed to define the graph to simultaneously be drawn over the scatter plot. Our interface enables the user to interactively combine DR methods by the human perception of color, while providing information about the structure of original data. Then, it makes the selection of a DR scheme more intuitive -even for non-expert users.
