The Universal Coding Method in the data compression algorithm

A brand new constructive data compression algorithm is considered. The models basic elements are indicated. data transformation is carried out on the basis of three parameters using binary and decimal numeration systems. Methodical validation of data packing procedures is provided in a generalized form. Step-by-step structural description of the designed model is presented, along with schemes of the logging mechanism and interaction of the algorithms main parts. The problem of combining the universalism principle with supercompression of digital information is approached. Moreover, the model operates in modes of both single and multiple application of the same crypto-graphic scenario. A brief analysis of the model under extreme loads with and without considering the decoding log capacities and stabilizing bit array is carried out. The algorithms excesses and their effect on data coding and decoding processes efficiencies are discovered. Positive and negative aspects of the introduction of log and stabilizing bits into data compression process are indicated. The concept of informations critical volume, which specifies the algorithms operation in the cryptographic generator mode, is defined.

Process data compression and trending can improve control system performances. Swing Door Trending (SDT) algorithm is well designed to adapt the process trend while retaining the merit of simplicity. But it cannot handle outliers and adapt to fluctuations of actual data. Methodological improvements on the existing SDT algorithm are proposed in this paper. The effectiveness and applicability of Improved SDT (ISDT) algorithm are demonstrated by computations on both synthetic and real process data. By applying an adaptive recording limit together with outliers -detecting rules, a higher compression ratio is achieved and outliers are identified and eliminated. The fidelity is only influenced slightly. It can be used both in online and batch mode, and integrated into existing software packages without any change. S22 Sensor and Measurement.

Based on the development history of wavelet transformation's applications in data compression, this paper studies thee wavelets' property of being continuous and discrete, establishes a power quality data compression model of wavelet transformation, discusses the threshold coefficient compression algorithm after the wavelet transformation, and makes an improvement with the low-frequency, high-frequency and self-adaptive power quality of the threshold compression algorithm. In the end, this paper verifies through a simulation experiment that the algorithm is adaptable to the compression of power quality data and signals are able to maintain a relatively low distortion.

The ATAD algorithm proposed in this paper utilizes adaptive threshold which is updated by the first and the second-order differentiations of the signal to compress ECG data. tile nature of the signal can be traced and by compressing the higher-information signal regions (QRS complex) and the lower-information regions (isoelectric region, P and T waves and noise signal) The in different ways, it optimizes the trade off between the reduction (CR) and information content of the signal (PRD). At the same time, the proposed algorithm is simple, fast and can be realized easily by microprocessors.

HT-7 superconducting tokamak in the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is an experimental device for fusion research in China. The main task of the data acquisition system of HT-7 is to acquire, store, analyze and index the data. The volume of the data is nearly up to hundreds of million bytes. Besides the hardware and software support, a great capacity of data storage, process and transfer is a more important problem. To deal with this problem, the key technology is data compression algorithm. In the paper, the data format in HT-7 is introduced first, then the data compression algorithm, LZO, being a kind of portable lossless data compression algorithm with ANSI C, is analyzed. This compression algorithm, which fits well with the data acquisition and distribution in the nuclear fusion experiment, offers a pretty fast compression and extremely fast decompression. At last the performance evaluation of LZO application in HT-7 is given.

In creating integrated automated production control systems, there is an open question of simulation fidelity distribution between MES- and APC-systems according to the requirement for speed and decision-making horizon at each level. Operational planning forms a set of discrete operations organized by time and indicators. The period of the operations includes the transient and steady-state mode of the manufacturing process, but does not affect the values of transient mode indicators. Transient mode is the "noise" for operational production planning. The period of scheduled operations should be determined for petroleum refineries so that the level of the "noise" does not exceed the required production planning accuracy. The paper presents a method of calculating the transient mode parameters and the analysis results for refinery process time series, enabling us to determine the minimum operation period for the required operational production planning accuracy in the MES-system. Presents response time, average control action period and obtained estimates of transient speed on the example unit for each group of real refinery processes.

Improved BAQ algorithm for Tiangong-2 interferometric imaging radar data compression

Tiangong-2 interferometric imaging radar altimeter (InIRA), the first space-borne radar altimeter in the world, applying a new mechanism of interferometry with short baseline and small incident angle, can achieve wide swath and high accuracy sea surface height measuring. Comparing to traditional altimeter, InIRA can obtain SAR image of observation area, which means InIRA needs higher AD sampling rate. Due to the limitation of satellite on-board storage and downlink speed, in order to extend the working time of InIRA, data compression algorithm for InIRA must be studied. Block adaptive quantisation (BAQ) is an efficient and widely adopted approach for space-borne SAR raw data compression. Based on the characters of InIRA echo waveform, this study discusses compressing InIRA raw data by changing quantisation bits and size of blocks of BAQ algorithm to achieve higher compression ratio and less sea surface height error.

A fundamentally new algorithm for data compression is considered. A theoretical basis is provided for the formation, modification, and conversion of data positions aimed at their reversible compression. The specifics are described of a method development based on structure encryption, i.e., reformatting the architecture of the compressed data alphabet based on the positionality and conditionality properties of the compression level and the structural numbering of the reformatted alphabet's architecture in a positional multilevel space. We substantiate the principle of redundancy reduction due to the following: the simultaneous modification of the positions inhibiting the appearance of noninteger values of new positions and constraints on the digit capacity of the elements in positioning arrays, the identification of the carriers of stabilizing elements in the digital space, and the reduction of the positions with code combinations in the course of the array processing. A particular case of a data conversion protocol is presented. Problems are solved of combining the principles of data reversibility and supercompression both in the modes of single and multiple use of one and the same encryption scenario. The cost of the positioning processes and their influence on the efficiency of the processes of the data encoding and decoding have been determined.
