Based on the characteristics of Laser Metal Deposition Shaping (LMDS) technology, the related data processing algorithm was investigated in detail. This paper provides a kind of layered processing algorithm for STL file based on the limited topological information. At first, the triangle facets intersected with certain layered plane in the STL file were found out in disordered state, and then were read into the memory;secondly, the topological information was built to the found triangle facets;next, the intersecting lines between the layered plane and the triangle facets were figured out, so the contour lines on the layered plane were generated according to the founded topological sorting. Over and over, this process was finished until all layered contours were worked out. This algorithm could process the large STL files, save the memory expense, and improve the computing speed.

The university scientific research performance has being a hot issue in recent years. The scientific research performance evaluation of university is one of important bases for rationally allocating educational resources. data processing is very important for evaluation. This study analyzes many factors that affect the university scientific research performance to collect evaluation indicators for data processing. The collected indicators are classified into input indicators and output indicators. Then Factor Analysis is used to reduce the number of two types of indicators with professional software SPSS. Further, the selected 32 universities are evaluated on research performance by using DEA method. Finally, the results of scientific research performance of university are obtained, and the improvements and supervision measures are proposed.

The XML-based technology provided the enormous convenience for data description, data exchange and transmission using the network. Unified the related research results, this paper presents XML-based strategy for several important problems of data processing in network supported collaborative design, such as the representation of STEP with XML in the product information expression and the management of XML documents using relational database. In above research foundation, the structure of data processing system based on XML is presented. The German Aerospace Center DLR) and Teledyne Brown Engineering TBE) have established a collaboration to develop and operate a new space-based hyperspectral sensor, the DLR Earth Sensing Imaging Spectrometer DESIS). DESIS will provide space-based hyperspectral data in the VNIR with high spectral resolution and near-global coverage. While TBE provides the platform and infrastructure for operation of the DESIS instrument on the International Space Station, DLR is responsible for providing the instrument and the processing software. The DESIS instrument is equipped with novel characteristics for an imaging spectrometer such high spectral resolution 2.55 nm), a mirror pointing unit or a CMOS sensor operated in rolling shutter mode. We present here an overview of the DESIS instrument and its processing chain, emphasizing the effect of the novel characteristics of DESIS in the data processing and final data products. Furthermore, we analyse in more detail the effect of the rolling shutter on the DESIS data and possible mitigation/correction strategies.

data processing and node management are key technologies in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) to reduce the number of transmission of sensor nodes, and hence minimize the overall power consumption, thus to improve the whole performance and emergency response speed of net system, especially in WSN for environment monitoring. This paper provides a method to process data and manage node in WSN for sea water quality monitoring. The method does simple data processing at the front-end of sensor node and only transmits the abnormal data to largely compress the source data. In order to process some data from the front-end, testing center of the back-end adopts the cluster analysis algorithm based on genetic algorithm. When the abnormal sea waters is discovered and determined, the detailed calculation and analysis would be done with the relative abnormal data of the sea waters. By this method dramatically decreases the quantity of transmission and processing, the energy consumption is also be decreased. Meanwhile, this method can effectively manage the network node and improve the response speed of the testing center to the abnormal situation.

The Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT) primary mirror is a 25 meter f/0.7 surface composed of seven 8.4 meter circular segments, six of which are identical off-axis segments. The fabrication and testing challenges with these severely aspheric segments (about 14 mm of aspheric departure, mostly astigmatism) are well documented. Converting the raw phase data to useful surface maps involves many steps and compensations. They include large corrections for: image distortion from the off-axis null test;misalignment of the null test;departure from the ideal support forces;and temperature gradients in the mirror. The final correction simulates the active-optics correction that will be made at the telescope. data are collected and phase maps are computed in 4D Technology's 4Sight (TM) software. The data are saved to a. h5 (HDF5) file and imported into MATLAB (R) for further analysis. A semi-automated data pipeline has been developed to reduce the analysis time as well as reducing the potential for error. As each operation is performed, results and analysis parameters are appended to a data file, so in the end, the history of data processing is embedded in the file. A report and a spreadsheet are automatically generated to display the final statistics as well as how each compensation term varied during the data acquisition. This gives us valuable statistics and provides a quick starting point for investigating atypical results.

The Parkinson has been placed on the second position of the most frequent neurodegenerative illnesses list, after Alzheimer, consisting in slowly and progressive neurons damage. Parkinson's disease is associated with motor symptoms, including tremor, postural instability, rigidity, bradykinesia and dysphonia. The time series specific to tremor, speech and gait Parkinson's Disease signals were firstly analyzed, by tools derived from chaotic analysis, such as: correlation dimension, recurrence plot, recurrence quantification analysis or Lyapunov exponent, as well. From the tremor management point of view and based on the results, this paper emphasizes the importance of the non-linear dynamics specific parameters in Parkinson tremor analysis. Currently, there hasn't been underlined any "gold standard" method, by which quantitative and qualitative evaluation of symptoms' gravity for patients with Parkinson are observed. The goal of the research carried out in this way consists in finding a screening test, in order to identify early the Parkinson's disease. By analyzing the tremor, gait and speech signals for patients with Parkinson's disease, this paper brings an approach over the most important information that can be used within a knowledge based system, specific to Parkinson's disease diagnosis.

One of the most important project missions of neutral beam injectors is the implementation of 100 s neutral beam injection (NBI) with high power energy t.o the plasma of the EAST superconducting tokamak. Correspondingly, it's necessary to construct a high-speed and reliable computer data processing system for processing experimental data, such as data acquisition, data compression and storage, data decompression and query, as well as data analysis. The implementation of computer data processing application software (CDPS) for EAST NBI is presented in this paper in terms of its functional structure and system realization. The set of software is programmed in C language and runs on Linux operating system based on TCP network protocol and multi-threading technology. The hardware mainly includes industrial control computer (IPC), data server, PXI DAQ cards and so on. Now this software has been applied to EAST NBI system, and experimental results show that the CDPS can serve EAST NBI very well.
