The paper presents methods used for Kharkiv incoherent scatter radar dataprocessing and analysis. These methods formed the basis for the developed software package UPRISE. Noise removing, altitudinal correction, as well as plasma temperature, ion composition, and velocity estimation are described. UPRISE package allowed obtaining a number of qualitatively new unique geophysical results based on data acquired by the Kharkiv incoherent scatter radar.

The explosion of data and the increase in processing complexity, together with the increasing needs of real-time processing and concurrent data access, make remote sensing data streaming processing a wide research area to study. This paper introduces current situation of remote sensing dataprocessing and how timely remote sensing dataprocessing can help build future smart cities. Current research on remote sensing data streaming is also introduced where the three typical and open-source stream processing frameworks are introduced. This paper also discusses some design concerns for remote sensing data streaming processingsystems, such as data model and transmission, system model, programming interfaces, storage management, availability, etc. Finally, this research specifically addresses some of the challenges of remote sensing data streaming processing, such as scalability, fault tolerance, consistency, load balancing and throughput.

The LIA-2 radiographic complex created on the basis of a linear induction accelerator is a complex electrophysical facility with a large number of control objects. The nature of experiments performed with this complex requires its high reliability. The facility elements are powerful pulse high-voltage devices whose parameters can vary during operation. A system that automatically detects errors and failures by analyzing an ensemble of waveforms characterizing the operation of individual elements of the facility during tests is described. The analysis system is designed on the basis of the HDF5, Numpy, Scipy, Pytables, and Matplotlib software. The results of processing of the first experimental data are given.
