Hierarchical coordinated control method of load and storage in distribution network based on multi-objective weighted grey target decision algorithm

In order to realize real-time power dispatching optimization, promote the sustainable development of renewable energy and improve the power supply capacity of distribution network. A hierarchical coordinated control method of distribution network load and energy storage based on multi-objective weighted grey target decision algorithm is proposed. This method constructs a hierarchical coordinated control architecture of distribution network load and storage, which includes power layer and user layer. In the power layer, by considering the factors such as wind and solar power generation, battery status and generator output, a scheduling model is established to minimize the operating cost and environmental cost of the power station, and the best real-time power scheduling scheme is obtained through the multi-objective weighted grey target decision algorithm. In the user layer, according to the schedulable power limit and the forecast data of cooling and heating load demand, the scheduling strategy is formulated, the real-time scheduling scheme of cooling and heating energy is determined, and the adjusted generator power demand is calculated. The experimental results show that this method can effectively predict the output of wind-solar hybrid power generation, which is basically consistent with the actual results, and can obtain the optimal scheduling result of power supply layer taking into account the operating cost and environmental cost. The application of this method can ensure the uninterrupted power supply of important electric loads to the maximum extent, meet the heat load demand at the same time, and realize the optimal autonomy in the process of energy supply and demand. It is proved that this method can effectively coordinate the source, network and storage resources in the distribution network, improve energy utilization efficiency and reduce environmental pollution.

Hallux varus is a deformity of the first ray with medial misalignment of the first phalanx in relation to the axis of the metatarsal. The incidence of this complication is relatively frequent, reported in the literature from 2 to 15.4%. The deformity is considered flexible if it is possible to passively reduce the misalignment while maintaining joint mobility. The stiffened form is often the result of a long-standing contracture, and therefore becomes non-reducible and immobile in the centred position. Interphalangeal deviation is also composed of supination of the hallux and dorsal flexion of the proximal phalanx. Interphalangeal mobility is assessed, mainly its capacity for dorsal flexion (extension) or its stiffness in flexion. The terminal, stiffened deformity represents the cock-up deformity. Painful intra-articular cracking when manipulating the metatarsophalangeal joint may indicate underlying osteoarthritis, and should be investigated in the neutral reduction position of the hallux. Radiological evaluation is essential to identify the various components of the deformity. The first decision factor is the reducibility and flexibility of the first metatarsophalangeal joint in the reduction position. Any situation involving joint stiffness should always prompt consideration of arthrodesis. Techniques that preserve mobility require a perfectly flexible and reducible toe. Transfers can be proposed on a flexible joint, but static ligament reconstruction is easier to adjust. The intermetatarsal angle must be corrected if it is less than 6°. Arthrodesis is the most reliable option for stiffened and fixed deformities. It certainly presents the lowest risk of failure. Autonomous driving algorithms are always in operation during normal driving and require responses to many more driving situations than ADAS, which assists the driver only in specific risk scenarios. However, due to the absence of a quantitative algorithm evaluation method, most algorithms are evaluated in their own test scenarios. Even in similar cases in identical scenarios, different decisions may be made depending on small differences such as the speed or location of surrounding vehicles. Therefore, one representative scenario cannot cover all cases and it is difficult to quantitatively compare and evaluate algorithms. In this study, the parameters constituting the scenario are determined for lane change and intersection scenarios, typical scenarios in autonomous driving research. Then, all key parameters are swept within a certain range, and all cases that are slightly different are generated even in identical scenario. Simulations are performed automatically on the generated cases, and the vehicle risk is calculated on all cases based on the time to occupancy (TTO). Using this evaluation method, edge cases in which the autonomous algorithm may have weaknesses can be found.

Stabilization and reanimation of the lower lip in facial palsy. Retrospective study about 66 patients and literature review. Proposition of a decision algorithm

Several techniques for the stabilization and the reanimation of the paralyzed lower lip have been proposed, sometimes combined but the authors are rather vague. Thanks to our cases and a literature review, we suggest an algorithm. Sixty-six patients haven been reviewed. The static and dynamic clinical evaluation have been done thanks to the study of the medical files, photographs and videos samples. The different techniques we have used were: (a) botulinum toxin in the contralateral depressor labii inferioris (DLI) (n = 66), contralateral DLI myectomy (n = 1);(b) a strip of fascia lata (n = 16) either combined with a lengthening temporalis myoplasty (MAT) (n = 10) or only realizing a passive suspension thanks to one vector (n = 4), or a passive suspension with two strips (n = 2);(c) digastric muscle transfer (n = 4). When the elevator muscles are sounds, botulin toxin (+/- myectomy) is proposed if the lower lip is not inverted. Otherwise, a suspension thanks to a digastric muscle transfer or a passive suspension with a horizontal and a vertical strips are recommended. If the elevator muscles are no more operational, a MAT with a passive suspension with one vector is considerated and if the lower lip is inverted, a digastric muscle transfer with a fascia lata strip or a MAT with two strips is proposed. Based on the World Health organization (WHO) findings, roughly 2.2 billion people have severe eye conditions or visual impairments without treatment or prevention. Four challenges encountered by the visually impaired are a) lack of measurement system in navigation, b) inability to see at night, c) inability to anticipate the object or obstacle, and d) no familiarity with the environment. The primary goal of this study was to design an assistive device to aid people with visual impairments in navigating. The iSAFE NAVigation Vest detects the distance and position of an obstacle, identifies the obstacle or object ahead, and warns for haptic and audio output. In this study, the decision algorithm for the guidance of the visually impaired was tested using the iSAFE Nav Vest. The iSAFE Nav vest adopts ultrasonic and image processing to analyze the environment and obstacles to avoid. The algorithm showed an accuracy of 96.67% for the decision algorithm test and 84.85% for the controlled indoor-outdoor testing. © 2023 IEEE.

Developing decision algorithm for determination of protection zones in protected areas (case study: Hara Protected Area)

Management areas in the country are mainly identified and protected to conserve genetic resources, protect natural landscapes and support the origin of ecosystem services. These areas would not be much effective without a proper management plan based on their zoning. Due to lack of appropriate criteria with ground check capability, zoning has always been a major challenge for planners. Therefore, this study was carried out to develop a decision algorithm for zoning protection zones 1 and 2 of Hara protected area. This region, with an area of 86,258 hectares, covers a vast range of Mangrove forests and is located between Khamir Port and Qeshm Island in Hormozgan province, Iran. Zoning of the protected areas in this region was performed through identifying the ecologic-based criteria for Restricted Nature Reserve Zone (zone 1) and Protection Zone (zone 2), finalizing and screening them by Delphi questionnaire and weighting those criteria using Entropy Shannon methods. Moreover, the linear model for spatial criteria combination was developed, and layering and criteria combination were performed in Geographic Information System using the designed decision algorithm. The results from zoning the protected areas indicated that zone 1 and zone 2 constituted 5% and 11.38% of the total area, respectively. In other words, the protection zones covered over 16% of the study area. The results also indicated that the criteria linear combination model and the decision algorithm could facilitate accurate zoning of the areas while maintaining their ecologic and human values.

Low latency is required for connected and intelligent vehicle applications. For instance, safety applications have strict latency requirements. Mobile edge computing (MEC) improves the latency by bringing the computational resources closer to the data source. However, despite the improvements in latency by MEC, the latency will vary based on traffic load and signal conditions. We seek to answer the question: is the current latency environment acceptable for our application? This paper presents our Reliable Latency decision (ReLaDec) algorithm. ReLaDec uses prior information and the last latency samples to decide whether the latency will be acceptable to our application. The decisions are done with predictable confidence and with ReLaDec the false positive decision rate never exceeds the set maximum value. We demonstrate the performance of the algorithm using 860000 latency samples that include stationary and driving data over multiple USA states.

A model of autopilot decision algorithm based on multidimensional depth space-time network was studied in this paper. The forward images of vehicle driving was taken by the camera mounted on the vehicle. The images and the steering wheel angle and speed were collected as the model training input data. The multi frame vehicle image was pre-processed, the underlying feature image and the original image were used as the input of the multi-dimensional space-time decision network. The multi-dimensional space-time decision network was set up. The multiple three-dimensional convolution paths were used to extract and fuse the high level spatiotemporal features of the original and the underlying features, and the fusion features were used. In the decision of autopilot. The multidimensional spatiotemporal network was trained by using the driver's driving data, and the multidimensional spatiotemporal decision-making model was obtained. The decision model of the autopilot makes use of multidimensional space-time information to directly output the decision information of autopilot. The model can effectively output the driver's decision data.

Enhanced Handover decision algorithm in Heterogeneous Wireless Network

Transferring a huge amount of data between different network locations over the network links depends on the network's traffic capacity and data rate. Traditionally, a mobile device may be moved to achieve the operations of vertical handover, considering only one criterion, that is the Received Signal Strength (RSS). The use of a single criterion may cause service interruption, an unbalanced network load and an inefficient vertical handover. In this paper, we propose an enhanced vertical handover decision algorithm based on multiple criteria in the heterogeneous wireless network. The algorithm consists of three technology interfaces: Long-Term Evolution (LTE), Worldwide interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). It also employs three types of vertical handover decision algorithms: equal priority, mobile priority and network priority. The simulation results illustrate that the three types of decision algorithms outperform the traditional network decision algorithm in terms of handover number probability and the handover failure probability. In addition, it is noticed that the network priority handover decision algorithm produces better results compared to the equal priority and the mobile priority handover decision algorithm. Finally, the simulation results are validated by the analytical model.
