Automatic modeling of the current state components of ancient buildings based on 3D deformation algorithm

Ancient buildings possess significant artistic and cultural value. The digitization of these structures is a crucial aspect of their restoration, providing foundational data for subsequent stress and health analyses. However, creating accurate models of ancient buildings is a challenging endeavor, even for experienced researchers, especially when dealing with a large number of structures. A pressing issue that needs addressing is how to quickly obtain accurate models of ancient buildings while ensuring both precision and efficiency. Currently, one of the more precise methods for reconstructing models of ancient buildings involves the use of scanned point clouds and manual reconstruction through modeling software. However, this method suffers from poor accuracy and low efficiency, making the modeling process complex and time-consuming. In this article, we will refer to the model generated from the point cloud of real components as the "current state model", and the unforced mesh model of the ancient building as the "standard model". An algorithm is proposed to construct the current state model of ancient buildings by guiding the deformation of the unforced standard model using the scanned point cloud model. First, this paper designs an automatic modeling method for ancient building components as the foundational data before deformation, addressing the issue of low modeling efficiency for ancient buildings. Second, it proposes a method for automatically calculating deformation control point pairs based on the characteristics of ancient buildings, solving the problem of manually locating control points. Finally, the proposed adaptive weight Laplacian deformation algorithm is applied to deform the standard model into the current state model.

From decoupled integrable models to coupled ones via a deformation algorithm

By using a reconstruction procedure of conservation laws of different models,the deformation algorithm proposed by Lou,Hao and Jia has been used to a new application such that a decoupled system becomes a coupled *** the new application to some decoupled systems such as the decoupled dispersionless Korteweg–de Vries(Kd V)systems related to dispersionless waves,the decoupled KdV systems related to dispersion waves,the decoupled KdV and Burgers systems related to the linear dispersion and diffusion effects,and the decoupled KdV and Harry–Dym(HD)systems related to the linear and nonlinear dispersion effects,we have obtained various new types of higher dimensional integrable coupled *** new models can be used to describe the interactions among different nonlinear waves and/or different effects including the dispersionless waves(dispersionless KdV waves),the linear dispersion waves(KdV waves),the nonlinear dispersion waves(HD waves)and the diffusion *** method can be applied to couple all different separated integrable models.

Lax integrable higher dimensional Burgers systems via a deformation algorithm and conservation laws

How to obtain higher-dimensional integrable systems from lower ones is a hot topic deserving deeply consideration. Recently, a deformation algorithm with the help of different conservation laws proposed by Lou, Hao and Jia has been applied to establish some higher-dimensional nonlinear systems. In this paper, the method is mainly used to establish the (2+1)-dimensional Burgers equation and higher-dimensional Burgers systems. The Lax pairs, integrable Burgers hierarchy, Lie point symmetries and kink soliton solutions are also investigated.

Laplacian surface editing is an intuitive mesh deformation tool that preserves surface detail features when editing mesh models. However, the Laplace editing algorithm needs to solve a linear matrix system proportional to the number of vertices of the three-dimension (3D) mesh model, which is highly time-consuming for 3D model deformation. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to present an improved deformation algorithm of Laplacian based on the mesh model simplification. The simplified method of vertex deletion is used to simplify the original 3D mesh model and the Laplacian deformation technique is adopted in the simplified mesh module. The deformation efficiency of the model is improved while the rotation invariant feature is guaranteed. The result of the experiment also verifies the effectiveness of this algorithm.

Integrable systems play a crucial role in physics and *** particular,the traditional(1+1)-dimensional and(2+1)-dimensional integrable systems have received significant attention due to the rarity of integrable systems in higher *** studies have shown that abundant higher-dimensional integrable systems can be constructed from(1+1)-dimensional integrable systems by using a deformation *** we establish a new(2+1)-dimensional Chen-Lee-Liu(C-L-L)equation using the deformation algorithm from the(1+1)-dimensional C-L-L *** new system is integrable with its Lax pair obtained by applying the deformation algorithm to that of the(1+1)-*** is challenging to obtain the exact solutions for the new integrable system because the new system combines both the original C-L-L equation and its reciprocal *** traveling wave solutions are derived in implicit function expression,and some asymmetry peakon solutions are found.

Structural deformation is ubiquitous throughout geological history. For a mineral deposit that underwent structural deformation after its formation, its geological architecture may have been severely distorted from its original geometry. Due to lack of concern for this fact, the effectiveness of existing mineral prospectivity methods could be limited in areas that experienced structural deformation. This paper proposes a three-dimensional (3D) mineral prospectivity modeling method with geometric restoration. An energy-based geometric restoration approach is presented to restore the existing geometry of geological architecture to the original one according to a series of prior constraints. To represent the original ore-forming environment, the original mineralization distribution and the predictor variables are estimated from the restored 3D geological models. Then, Random Forest is applied to build the mineral prospectivity model that associates predictor variables with the original mineralization distribution. The proposed method was applied to the world-class Jinchuan Ni-Cu-(PGE) sulfide deposit, which underwent significant off-fault deformation after its formation. It was found that, by restoration of the geometry of geological objects and the mineralization distribution, the predictor variables are more reasonable and significant to indicate spatial associations to the mineralization at Jinchuan. This led to a more accurate prospectivity model with superior evaluation metrics (AUCs, F1 scores, kappa coefficients, and PR curves, etc.) compared with the prospectivity model built without geometric restoration. Therefore, 3D mineral prospectivity modeling with geometric restoration is probably much more effective and reliable in quantifying spatial associations with mineralization and in targeting subsurface orebodies in areas that underwent structural deformation.

The (1+1)-dimensional models can be applied to derive corresponding higher dimensional models by a deformation algorithm with the help of their conservation laws, their La x integrabilit y can be proved in the same way. In this paper, we modify the original deformation algorithm such that the conserved density should not be derivative dependent. The modified deformation algorithm is mainly applied to the (1+1)-dimensional Degasperis-Procesi equation and Camassa-Holm equation to establish some brand-new (N+1)-dimensional coupled Degasperis-Procesi-Camassa-Holm systems and their (1+1)-dimensional reductions, whose La x pairs have been given. On the other hand, we can find a new type of peakon solution of the (2+1)-dimensional deformed Degasperis-Procesi equation.

(3+1)-Dimensional Gardner Equation Deformed from (1+1)-Dimensional Gardner Equation and its Conservation Laws

Through the application of the deformation algorithm, a novel (3+1)-dimensional Gardner equation and its associated Lax pair are derived from the (1+1)-dimensional Gardner equation and its conservation laws. As soon as the (3+1)-dimensional Gardner equation is set to be y or z independent, the Gardner equations in (2+1)-dimension are also obtained. To seek the exact solutions for these higher dimensional equations, the traveling wave method and the symmetry theory are introduced. Hence, the implicit expressions of traveling wave solutions to the (3+1)-dimensional and (2+1)-dimensional Gardner equations, the Lie point symmetry and the group invariant solutions to the (3+1)-dimensional Gardner equation are well investigated. In particular, after selecting some specific parameters, both the traveling wave solutions and the symmetry reduction solutions of hyperbolic function form are given.
