In this paper, we propose an energy-efficient multihop transmission technique for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) based on dijkstra algorithm. We consider a WSN composed of N sensor nodes. Firstly, we group the sensor nodes into clusters according to their placement in the monitoring area, then we organize the nodes within each cluster by electing the appropriate node as cluster head and classifying the remaining nodes into active nodes and sleeping nodes. Then, we select the set of reliable relays which cooperate to forward data with the least transmit power. Our proposed relay selection algorithm is based on dijkstra algorithm. The main contribution of the paper is to define a new transmission strategy that improves the results of our previous work proposed in [?] by better minimizing power consumption. Therefore, the proposed transmission technique can improve significantly the reduction of power consumption compared to the previous transmission technique. Simulations results prove that the new transmission technique based on dijkstra algorithm increases the energy savings to prolong the network lifetime.

The dijkstra algorithm is a typical single-source shortest path algorithm for calculating the shortest path from one node to the other in a non-negative weight map, but its use of the roulette method greatly affects the node selection. Speed and efficiency. Therefore, on the basis of ensuring the search accuracy, this paper improves the initial dijkstra algorithm to improve the efficiency of the algorithm and meet its needs in 2D or 3D path planning. In this paper, MATLAB2018a is used as the experimental platform to simulate the initial dijkstra algorithm and the improved dijkstra algorithm. The experimental results show that the improved algorithm greatly reduces the path planning vision and improves the operating efficiency.

This paper deals with ray tracing in a closed space such as tunnel or underground by using the numerical method based on dijkstra algorithm (DA). The essence of the method is to modify the DA based proximity matrix in terms of three procedures, that is, path selection, path linearization and line of sight (LOS) check. This method has successively been applied to ray tracing in an open space such as a random rough surface. When we treat a closed space, however, more detailed discussions are required than in the case of an open space, because we must take account of the effects of floor, ceiling and side walls at the same time. In this paper we propose procedures for LOS check to solve this difficult situation. Numerical examples are shown for the traced rays and cost distributions in sinusoidal and cross type tunnels.

Floating car data (FCD) are one of the most important sources of traffic data. However, their processing requires several steps that may seem trivial but have far-reaching consequences. One such step is map-matching, i.e. assignment of the FCD measurement to the correct road segment. While it can be done very simply by assigning the point of measurement to the closest road, this approach may produce a highly undesirable level of error. The second challenge connected with processing of FCD measurements is missing measurements. They are usually caused by the shortcomings of GPS technology (e.g. the satellites can be obscured by buildings or bridges) and may deny us many measurements during longer downtimes. The last problem we will solve is the assignment of measurements to very short segments. FCD measurements are taken in periodic steps for several seconds long. However, some road segments are very short and can be passed by a car in the shorter interval. Such segments are therefore very difficult to monitor. We plan to solve all these problems through a combination of geometric map-matching with the dijkstra's shortest path algorithm.

Thanks to the development in the wireless communication technologies and the microelectronics domain, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are more and more omnipresent. The most important challenge of WSN is how to extend its lifetime. For long distance communication, using one hop transmission causes the dissipation of a lot of energy. To avoid this dissipation, an energy-efficient multihop transmission strategy based on dijkstra algorithm is proposed in this paper. We consider a WSN organized into clusters, each cluster is composed of N sensor nodes classified as follows: source node, cluster head (CH) node as the destination, group of active nodes and group of sleeping nodes. The selection of CH node is based on the position of nodes within the cluster and their residual energy. Then, the CH groups the remaining nodes into active or sleeping nodes according to a reference distance. We suppose that the transmitting symbol is correctly received only if the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) at the receiver is above a threshold gamma(th). Our main objective is to define a new transmission technique minimizing the power consumption using multihop communication. The selected relays which cooperate to aid the source-destination communication are those offering the least transmit power while maintaining SNR equal to the threshold gamma(th). We use dijkstra algorithm to select the reliable relays. Simulations results demonstrate that the proposed transmission technique can reduce enormously the power consumption.

The technology trend is to become an inseparable part of the users daily experiences. In this article will be discussed about the implementation of an application that can be a fundamental tool to guide disability people. The application is based on the geolocation of the user and it destination, this generates the optimal path from a database that has the coordinates of the access ramps for the disabled people. For the route development it use the dijkstra algorithm that includes the value or "weight" of each path. The results shows that the application helps to improve the time of mobilization from one point to another. Finally, the developed application accomplishes the objective of reducing time and efforts in the mobility of people with motor disabilities in the center of the city of Quito.

In this paper, we propose a novel method based on dijkstra algorithm for parking lot to find an optimal route and solve the difficulties in finding parking spaces and traffic congestion nowadays. Firstly, by means of the traditional dijkstra algorithm, which is a common way to solve the shortest path problem, we combine it with the impedance function model to obtain the dynamic time of the route. Secondly, the balance function between distance and time is adopted as the weight matrix of the algorithm for optimal path planning. Finally, the verification of the proposed method was conducted by using the numerical simulation. Experimental results validated that the proposed approach was able to provide an optimal personal navigation path effectively, thereby it enhancing the user experience in the parking lot.
