It is a major challenge for water companies worldwide to quickly react to bursts so that water loss is reduced and service improved. This paper proposes a novel data-driven method for district metering areas (DMAs) with multiple pressure sensors that detects bursts in a timely manner. With the use of data correlation between multiple pressure sensors, the problem of burst detection is transformed into one of outlier detection. A distance-based algorithm is employed to distinguish outliers (i.e.,burst-induced data) from normal data by evaluating the similarity (or dissimilarity) between data. Furthermore, approximate location information of bursts can be provided by comparing abnormality degrees, which represent different magnitudes of pressure drop at each sensor. The method was applied in a gravity-based DMA with four pressure sensors to evaluate its performance. The results show that the method can detect relatively large bursts and raises few false alarms. In addition, the method is able to identify the pressure sensor nearest to the burst event, thus giving some approximate location information.

Given the steadily growing importance of D2D communication, a resource allocation scheme aimed at maximizing the spectrum utilization by minimizing transmission length of D2D link is proposed. The proposed scheme illustrates the existence of RBs in time and frequency domain and performs power control within set Cellular to Device (C2D) and Device to Cellular (D2C) Constraints. Mixed integer programming (MIP) which is an NP complete problem is suggested to formulate interference issues. Proposed column generation method is the solution for NP problem which is achieved by reducing it to a pricing problem that focus to solve restricted master problem before proceeding for the next step. The pricing issue is iteratively solved by a combination of a distancebased and greedy heuristic algorithm. The numerical results represented optimum minimum distance between suggested cellular user and device to device link user.

Our team developed a portable three dimension (3D) body measurement system based on binocular stereo vision. By measuring the body, the body data of front and rear surface are reconstructed. Because of physical properties of measuring device, environment of measurement, light and the defects of calibration algorithm, the initial body point clouds include some noisy points. based on the initial point model, the noisy points are divided into two types. The first type noisy points are far from the body data points. They are directly deleted by the distance-based algorithm. The second type noisy points mix with true body data to cause the point clouds unfair. They removed by modifying the location based on the method of mean curvature flows (MCF). The results show that the two methods are effective for denoising. By registering the corresponding markers pasted on the body, the front and the rear can be Integrated as a whole body model. The registered body can be used to construct the body surface model with the sense of reality.
