In this paper, Fuzzy logic controller operated water treatment plant is implemented in Emerson's DeltaV distributed control system using MQ controller. This treated water can he used for domestic purposes for e.g. washing vehicles, utensils & clothes and gardening etc. The response of PID controller and FLC (fuzzy logic controller) are compared. Analysis of maintaining tank water level, temperature and water flow rate by both the controllers is done on actual setup.

We find conditions of unique strong solution existence for the generalized Showalter-Sidorov problem to semilinear evolution equations with a degenerate operator at the highest fractional Gerasimov-Caputo derivative and with some constraint on the image of the nonlinear operator. Then we consider a class of optimal control problems for systems, whose dynamics is described by such equations endowed with the respective initial value conditions. Target functional is assumed not to take into account control costs. In such situation we used the additional condition of the admissible controls set boundedness. The obtained result of the initial problem unique solvability and properties of some functions spaces are applied to the proof of optimal control existence for such class of problems. Abstract results are applied to study of a control problem for a system, which is described by an initial-boundary value problem to a nonlinear partial differential equation, not solvable with respect to the highest time fractional derivative.

The artificial neural network (ANN) has been successfully applied to many systems' models with the objective of improving their performance. This study presents the ANN application to the automated voltage regulator (AVR) model of the synchronous machine. The studied system consists of the single- machine infinite bus (SMIB) power system. Data was extracted over a diverse range of conditions. Different fault types were also considered for collecting a large number of data to avoid overfitting. The multilayer feedforward neural network (MLFFNN) approach was applied to design the paradigm and system equations were solved using the MATLAB Simulink software.

This paper investigates control design of aero-engine systems by using distributed architecture. In distributed control architecture, delay is inevitable due to the network transmission. To address such problems, a feasible aero-engine controller reconstruction/design method is proposed based on distributed architecture with time delays. First, the causes of networkinduced delay are analyzed, and the engine system is remodeled by augmenting the state variables to transform it into a time delay-free augmentation system. In addition, considering the multi-variable control requirements of aero-engines, an augmented linear quadratic regulator is investigated to reduce the effects of time delays on engine performance. Secondly, for a certain type of aero-engines, the aero-engine distributed control simulation platform is built in the Truetime toolbox accordingly, which is universal to verify varied controllers of aero-engines under distributed architecture. Finally, the proposed method is simulated and verified on the platform. The results show that the designed controller can not only guarantee the system is stable, but also ensure the desired performance of the aero-engine in the presence of persistent delay. Moreover, the good anti-interference performance is also guaranteed.

This article discusses several aspects of the distributed control system being developed for a mobile robot. The aim for the system is ease of use for educational purposes and flexibility for easier and faster robot development for new projects. Movement tasks are formulated for better understanding of the distributed program architecture. The network protocols necessary for the system's operation are discussed. The higher level protocol's concept being developed by the authors is provided and an example of the protocol use is presented.

This article is aimed to give a general idea of how to organize robot control with a distributed network of embedded devices. It is an attempt to formulate simple concepts that will allow easier cooperation for team members during development. Suggested approach when properly described, understood and implemented is expected to form a good platform for concurrent individual software and hardware development and for educating new team members. Giving flexibility such an approach leads to convenient modular robot design. Realization of proposed approach is also introduced with a hardware version of embedded controller board, being the "heart" and the "brain" of any module on the robot.

Many complex samples must be preprocessed to analyze and detect. And sample preprocessed accounts for more than 60% of the entire sample analysis process. In order to improve efficiency and accuracy, an automated multi-sample preprocessing platform was designed and its automation control system was *** functions of the platform mainly include: transferring 10 kinds of solvents, processing 96 samples, ultrasonic treatment, automatic cleaning. The control system of the platform is mainly composed of computer, PLC, syringe pump, distribution valve, sensor, stepping motor, ultrasonic pool, and the three-dimensional motion system. The platform adopts distributed control by LabVIEW and PLC, with friendly human-computer interaction interface and complete *** platform selects six syringe pumps equipped with a dispensing valve to achieve the fluid transfer accuracy and efficiency requirements of the platform. The six syringe pumps are independent of each other, and the syringe range is 50μL~*** working mode divided into normal mode and micro-step mode, which can achieve high throughput and ensure its volume *** some proximity switches on the 3D motion system to achieve zero and limit point positioning for each axis. The PLC compares the current position with the received position command to obtain the difference in orientation. Finally, the PLC sends the required pulses to the stepper motor driver, and the proximity switch can verify the sample position.
