structured codes have been utilized in deriving the best known achievable rate regions in certain network scenarios. In this paper we demonstrate that structure can be also beneficial in terms of error exponents even in cases where there is no capacity gain. We use distributed structure, i.e., different users use codes which satisfy a nesting condition. Specifically, for the scalar Gaussian multiple-access channel we obtain an improvement over the best known achievable exponent, given by Gallager, for certain rate pairs.

The simulation system for joint operation of multiple power-generating approaches in marine power station, which is introduced in this article, is essential to operating marine power station, saving energy and studying of power management. The simulation system is also important for training students and crew. The system adopts the distributed structure. The simulation of detached diesel power units, shaft generators and exhaust-gas turbine power units are operated on the local computer(bottom machine)while the management of electric power conducts on the supervisors (upper machine). The network communication realizes information exchange of simulation system. This kind of distributed structure builds up the embedded physical-mathematical simulation model and enhances the real-time capability and reliability of the simulation equipment, so that the performance of the system will be improved.

Optimization of Electric Vehicle Battery Management under System on Chip Estimation and distributed structure

To improve the use efficiency of electric vehicles (EVs) batteries, extend the service life of batteries, and reduce the operating cost of batteries, the optimization of EVs battery management system based on system on chip (SOC) estimation and distributed structure is studied. First, the three commonly used battery management structures are compared, and the distributed structure of EVs battery management structure is selected. Then, the SOC estimation algorithm based on the improved extended Kalman filter algorithm is proposed. Finally, the simulation results of SOC estimation based on improved extended Kalman filter algorithm and the optimization results of EVs battery management system based on SOC and distributed structure are discussed. The results show that the improved extended Kalman filter algorithm proposed in this study has a priority over other algorithms, and its estimation the error of the SOC curve is always very small, almost zero. The whole battery management system has high acquisition precision and accuracy. In conclusion, this research has good guiding significance for the power battery industry in China.

Much of locale information appears from running manufacturing system. Along with the in-depth research and implementation on networked manufacturing, it is necessary to manage and use the locale information, so an open distributed platform is needed to integrate this information. Firstly, a framework of information integration for manufacturing system based on distributed structure is setup. It is implemented in network of manufacturing system. It provides guidance for developing management information system of manufacturing process. Subsequently, architecture of information integration for manufacturing system is proposed. On this condition, a processing platform for locale information is designed. Finally, a model of information integration based on B/S structure is setup with .NET developing environment. Finally, an application example proves this method validity.

WF-LDPSR: A local differential privacy mechanism based on water-filling for secure release of trajectory statistics data

Open Data Processing Services are used to solve the bottleneck of big data storage and operation. At the same time, massive trajectory data is generated, and the basic information of users' spatio-temporal historical data is provided, including points of interest and movement patterns. Improving the availability of published trajectory statistics data without compromising user privacy is critical. Differential privacy technology is a standard technology to realize the secure release of trajectory statistics data. Several research efforts have focused on secure publication of trajectory statistics data in a central environment by adding noise to a trusted third-party server. However, this central approach is vulnerable to privacy breaches, where adversaries can access real data by locking down the third-party server. The local differential privacy, based on a distributed architecture, overcomes this form of attack by allowing users to scramble personal data records before they are sent to third-party server. However, the existing distributed privacy protection schemes still have the balance problem of poor availability of data when ensuring privacy, as well as the problem of excessive operation cost. Therefore, a local differential privacy mechanism based on water-filling for secure release of trajectory statistics data (WF-LDPSR) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, in order to protect user privacy individually, a user automatic personalized segmentation method is proposed to determine the effective user sensitivity level automatically. Secondly, a distributed privacy protection model based on local differential privacy is designed to resist the attacks on the third-party server. Finally, in order to achieve the optimal allocation of privacy budget, the water-filling theorem in the field of communication is introduced. WPT-Based Modal Control on distributed structures with MRF-04K Damper

The magnetorheological （MR） fluid damper-based semiactive control systems have received considerable attention for protecting structures against natural hazards such as strong earthquakes and high winds. In this paper, a novel modal controller using wavelet packet transform （WPT） is proposed for the vibration control of distributed structures. In the proposed control system, the WPT method is utilized to decompose the acceleration measurement and select the modes containing most of the WPT energy component as the dominant modes. Then, a modal controller is designed to control the dominant modes and the optimal active control force is solved. Finally, Clipped-optimal con- trol law is adopted to determine the voltage applied to each MR damper. A Kalman-filter observer, which estimates the full controlled modal states from local accelerometer feedbacks, is designed for rendering the controller to be more applicable to distributed structures with a large number of degrees of freedom. A numerical example of a stadium root structure installed with MRF-04K damper is presented. The effectiveness of the controller is evaluated under both Tianjin and E1 Centro earthquake excitations. The superior performance and adaptability of the controller for versatile loading conditions are demonstrated through the comparison with traditional truncated modal controller.

This paper presents a WR-3 band distributed frequency doubler implemented in a 250-nm InP HBT technology. Three doubler unit cells are combined together with input and output transmission lines in a distributed way to achieve a wide bandwidth. A differential quasi-cascode pair is proposed for each unit cell design, which enables bandwidth extension and chip-size reduction. The distributed doubler exhibits measured peak power and conversion gain of 2.2 dBm and -6.5 dB, respectively, at 276 GHz. The doubler maintains high output power above -5 dBm from 225 to 320 GHz, which covers almost the entire WR-3 band. Due to the proposed compact distributed structure, the chip occupies only 0.23 mm(2) including all probing pads.

For more effective approximation of wideband responses of the distributed structures the necessity of a modification of pole model is shown. Refinement of the model for the account of beam propagation in an open distributed structure and for the account of frequency dependence of the model parameters is suggested. Efficiency of the considered approach is demonstrated on the numerical example.

An L- and C-Band Radiometer Utilizing distributed Active Hot and Cold Loads With 156% Fractional Bandwidth

This article presents an L- and C-band radiometer with integrated wideband active hot and cold loads (AHCLs). By seamlessly integrating the distributed low noise amplifying unit and the wideband power-combining unit, the operational bandwidth of the conventional AHCL is significantly enhanced. The proposed distributed AHCL based on the reused noise-generation structure can realize a balanced calibration of the Dicke radiometer in 156% fractional bandwidth and, therefore, results in a significant reduction of noise equivalent temperature difference (NETD). The dual-band radiometer consists of a distributed AHCL, an SPDT switch, an LNA stage, a reflectionless bandpass filter, a diplexer, L- and C-band detectors, and backend analog circuits. Utilizing a distributed AHCL, with 156% fractional bandwidth, the achieved NETDs in L- and C-bands are 1.39 K and 0.36 K, respectively. The implemented radiometer demonstrates an ability to make a balanced calibration automatically in an input range from around 225 K to 650 K. To the hest of our knowledge, the proposed dual-hand radiometer with a distributed AHCL demonstrates the ability to enhance the Dicke radiometer's sensitivity effectively in the largest fractional bandwidth.
