Improving the accuracy of total pressure control is an important research direction for the control of air flow fields in supersonic wind tunnels. Predictive control is based on the prediction of the future time control deviation to optimize the control rate, and has the ability to achieve high precision control of total pressure. Therefore, in this paper, taken the transient supersonic wind tunnel as the object, the dynamic matrix control in the predictive control method is used to achieve high-precision control of total pressure. To solve the problem that the step response model is inaccurate due to the drop of air source, the model compensation method is used to modify the measured step response curve. The dynamic matrix control algorithm with the modified model is applied in the wind tunnel simulation system to improve the total pressure control accuracy of the wind tunnel. This paper lay a theoretical foundation for the application of predictive control method in a supersonic wind tunnel test site.

Predictive control algorithm based on the step or impulse response of the object, using a rolling over method realizing process on-line optimization control. In the optimization process, it gets the feedback correction continuously through the comparison between the measured system output and prediction model output, it is able to overcome certain extent impact as a result of prediction model error structure disturbance and some state of uncertainty noise disturbance. There are lots of methods of predictive control, the predictive control can deal directly with a pure lagged object and has a strong adaptability of large inertia and a good tracking performance and robustness, this paper analyzed the stability and robustness of the dynamic matrix control, this response can directly access from the industrial scene, it does not require a priori knowledge of the model structure, so we can design control systems without going through the complex process of identification.

BP neural network is used to approximate to the alpha th-order inverse system of a class of nonlinear discrete systems. Cascading the inverse model approximated by BP neural network with the original system to get the composite pseudo-linear system. According to the dynamic matrix control(DMC) method that was proposed based on linear system, the nonlinear dynamic matrix control based on inverse system method is proposed. Simulation not only show that the method has better performance, high accuracy and simple design but also validate the effectiveness of the method.

A new control strategy based on dynamic matrix control algorithm is proposed in the paper to deal with data packet dropout which universally exists in networked control systems. Proper output value of the system is selected by comparing time stamp of the data packet in controller and actuator, consequently the worsen system performance due to data packet dropout is overcome by the strategy. The simulation results show that the new strategy is effective.

For the unsteady multi-boundary inverse heat conduction problem, a real-time solution method for boundary heat flux based on dynamic matrix control is proposed in the paper. The method solves the heat flux at the boundary in real-time by measuring the temperature information at the measurement points of the heat transfer system. A two-dimensional direct heat conduction model of the heat transfer system is established in the paper, and is solved by the finite difference method to obtain the temperature information of the measurement points under any heat flux boundary. Then, the correspondence between the heat flux of boundary and the temperature information is presented by means of a step-response model. The regularization parameters are introduced into the method to improve the stability of the inversion process, and the effect of real-time inversion on the heat flux of the boundary is achieved through rolling optimization. The experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve real-time inversion of the heat fluxes of the two-dimensional boundary with good accuracy.

This paper proposes a supplementary control for tighter control of the air-fuel ratio (AFR), which directly affects the environmental emissions of thermal power plants. dynamic matrix control (DMC) is applied to the supplementary control of the existing combustion control loops and the conventional double cross limiting algorithm for combustion safety is formulated as constraints in the proposed DMC. The proposed supplementary control is simulated for a 600-MW drum-type power plant and 1000 MW ultra-supercritical once-through boiler power plant. The results show the tight control of the AFR in both types of thermal power plants to reduce environmental emissions.

Abstract Two-temperature inferential control of the ideal and the methyl acetate double feed reactive distillation (RD) systems operated neat is evaluated using constrained dynamic matrix control (CDMC) and traditional decentralized control. For the ideal RD system, significant improvement in the stripping tray temperature control and the transient deviation in the bottoms purity is observed using CDMC. For the methyl acetate system, CDMC results in significant improvement in the control of the two tray temperatures as well as transient deviations in both the distillate and bottoms purity. Results also show that the magnitude of the maximum through-put change for which the control system fails is noticeably higher using CDMC.

In order to reduce the influence of ink viscosity change on the printing effect, this paper explores the effect of ink temperature change on the viscosity of the ink, so as to control the ink temperature to change the ink molecular tension to achieve the purpose of adjusting the viscosity of the ink. According to the weak nonlinearity, large hysteresis and large inertia of the ink temperature control system, the conventional PID algorithm can not meet the requirements of printing quality. This paper proposes the temperature control strategy of dynamic matrix control(DMC) algorithm, which has strong The anti-interference ability, suppression overshoot, and small steady-state error overcome the influence of the variable pipeline environment on the ink ejection point. At the end of the paper, the simulation is carried out to verify that the control system has better robustness and suppression of overshoot than the conventional PID algorithm in terms of system response speed and suppression of overshoot. Not only improve the quality of the print, but also reduce the failure rate of the nozzle.
