Stereo matching is one of the significant problems in the study of the computer vision. By getting the distance information through pixels, it is possible to reproduce a three-dimensional stereo. In this paper, the edges are the primitives for matching, the grey values of the edges and the magnitude and direction of the edge gradient were figured out as the properties of the edge feature points, according to the constraints for stereo matching, the energy function was built for finding the route minimizing by election campaign optimization algorithm during the process of stereo matching was applied to this problem the energy function. Experiment results show that this algorithm is more stable and it can get the matching result with better accuracy.

Disused electric appliances have become new urban polluter because of the replacing of appliances households and corporates throw away. Recycling systems of disused electric appliances in a few Chinese cities have been put on the agenda. On the basis of summarizing domestic and overseas research about reverse logistics management, this paper proposes re-use reverse logistics system model of disused electric appliances and use election campaign algorithm to solve the problem. Finally, the paper provides an optimization method of reverse logistics network for electric appliances recycling system.

Waste appliances have become new urban polluter because of the replacing of appliances households and corporates throw away. A case of recycling system of waste appliances in China is on the agenda. As the recycling system process, the layout optimization problem come out, we present a solution by using a new algorithm named election campaign algorithm (ECA). ECA acts by simulating the behavior that the election candidates pursue the highest support in election campaign. Our comparative study indicates that ECA has good performance in this kind of optimization cases.

Disused electric appliances have become new urban polluter because of the replacing of appliances households and corporates throw away. The accurate estimation of the future waste electric appliances production can help the government draw out best strategies to cope with the problem of the electronic products over-production and recycling. By using system dynamics method, the concept of product life span and increase limit, the washer waste volume in the future 20 years was predicted. By using scenario analysis, three waste output models most likely occur were simulated. In this case, we use election campaign algorithm to calculate the optimal time for adjusting the disposal capacity were investigated. This analysis can help to solve the impending problem of surplus electronic waste and provide a reference for the government to make policies.

In this paper, we present a new algorithm named election campaign algorithm (ECA) for the multimodal function optimization. It acts by simulating the behavior that the election candidates pursue the highest support in election campaign. The proposed approaches are validated using test functions taken from the specialized literature, and our results are compared with those obtained by genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO). Our comparative study indicates that ECA verifies its good performance when dealing with multimodal functions.

In this paper,we present a new method using election campaign algorithm (ECA) combining with the dynamic penalty method to solve the nonlinear constrained optimization *** proposed approaches are validated using several examples taken from the optimization literature,and our results are compared with those obtained by particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO).Our comparative study indicates that ECA verifies its good performance when dealing with constrained optimization problems with constraints.

This paper investigates the application of election campaign algorithm (ECA) in the optimum design of engineering problems. With ECA'S characteristic of running side by side, the overall optimization and feasible operation, the optimum matching of the design variables is obtained based on the optimum design model of engineering problems. Simulation results based on well-known constrained engineering design problems demonstrate the reliability and feasibility of ECA's application. ECA is suitable for solving engineering optimization design problems. © 2010 IEEE.
