Study on Environment Correction factor of Design fatigue Curve Sample Problem and Strain Rate Calculation

Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute (SNERDI) had been involved in ASME Section III environment assistant fatigue (EAf) task group (TG) and undertaken the calculation and verification work of first round sample problem, which was intended to test the engineering application of environmentally assisted fatigue (EAf) using the f en correction factor method of Code Case N-792 Rev.0 and the proposed Code Case for evaluation of strain rate in EAf evaluations. This paper will present the sample problem of a light water reactor (LWR) primary loop stainless steel nozzle under some thermal transients and the calculation procedure of detailed integral methods according to Code Case N-792. Moreover, the method of strain rate calculation was particularly studied and discussed which is essential to the f en value. The f en correction factor results and the comparison with other participants is presented in this paper.

The purpose of this paper is to get strong convergence theorems for a countable family of relatively quasi-nonexpansive mappings { S n } n = 0 ∞ , a maximal monotone operator T , and a generalized mixed equilibrium problem in a uniformly smooth and uniformly convex Banach space lacking condition UARC. Two examples are given to support our results. One is a countable family of uniformly closed relatively quasi-nonexpansive mappings but not a countable family of relatively nonexpansive mappings. Another is uniformly closed but not satisfies condition UARC. Many recent results in this field have been unified and improved.

In an effort to minimize the loss of urea-N through volatilization and concurrently recover urea in a usable form from cow urine, adsorption experiments using bamboo-based activated carbon were performed. Batch studies were undertaken to evaluate the effect of initial concentration, sorption time and temperature on the variation in urea uptake capacity of the prepared carbon. Equilibrium data were tested against various isotherms, kinetics and mass transfer models. The Langmuir monolayer sorption was found to be 146.12 mg.g −1 with nearly 90% urea recovery attained. The process was found to be reversible as seen through regeneration experiments. Thermodynamic parameters indicated that urea sorption was physical, spontaneous and exothermic in nature. Kinetic studies revealed that the rate of urea uptake was limited by both surface adsorption and intra-particle diffusion. It was concluded that the mass transfer of urea molecules over the activated carbon was governed by film diffusion at all concentrations examined.

参考作物蒸散量(ET0)的估算是作物需水量计算的关键,诸多估算方法在不同地区具有不同的适应性。本文利用中国农业主产区6个代表站点的气象数据,以fAO 56 Penman-Monteith(PM)为标准,对常用的1963 Penman(Pen63)、fAO 1979 Penman(fAO 79)、fAO 24 Penman(fAO 24)及1996Kimberly Penman(Kpen)共4种参考作物蒸散量综合方法进行比较评价。结果表明:(1)Pen63、fAO 79及Kpen的日估算值均比PM估算值偏高,fAO 24偏低,其平均偏差分别为0.28、0.52、0和-0.17mm?d-1,相对偏差为16.0%、25.2%、2.4%、-5.3%,相对均方根误差为12.1%、22.4%、14.2%和13.5%。(2)Pen63、fAO79的月估算值显著高于PM值,在高估最大的5月份平均偏高12.5mm(10.8%)和28.2mm(22.6%)。fAO24表现为低估,低估最大的月份平均偏低11.4mm(8.1%),但在南方站点多数月份的估算值与PM估算值无显著差异。Kpen月估算值与PM估算值相比,既有高估(5-10月),也有低估,高估最大的月份平均偏高19.7mm(14.5%),且在南方站点的秋冬季有近6个月与PM无显著差异。(3)Pen63和fAO79的年值均显著大于PM年值,平均偏高103.8mm(11.8%)和191.5mm(21.3%)。fAO24年平均低估PM值60.9mm(6.3%),Kpen则平均高估50.5mm(5.8%)。(4)时间尺度对评价结果具有一定影响,4种综合法依据日、年值的评价效果排序分别为Pen63>fAO24>Kpen>fAO79和Kpen>fAO24>Pen63>fAO79。在日尺度下4种方法更适于湿润气候,但年尺度下仅fAO79和fAO24较适于湿润气候。可见,4种综合法以Pen63普适性最好,fAO79最低,因此使用fAO79前对其进行适应性评价尤为重要。

目的克隆表达粉尘螨第24组过敏原cDNA,研究其免疫学特性,为深入研究尘螨致敏机制提供基础。方法以粉尘螨cDNA文库为模板,根据Der f24基因序列(GenBank Accession ***669700)设计引物,PCR扩增Der f24cDNA,构建原核表达载体pET-His-Derf24,并经酶切鉴定和DNA测序,转化至*** BL21(DE3)plysS,用异丙基-β-D-硫代半乳糖(IPTG)诱导表达;重组产物经Ni 2+螯合层析纯化,获得重组的Der f24(14kDa);对重组蛋白进行IgE-Western blotting(WB)实验和IgE-ELISA实验;通过Swiss-model软件模拟Der f24的3D结构并通过DNAStar软件分析其潜在的B细胞表位,合成三个肽(位置分别为75-88aa、44-57aa和104-117aa)进行IgE-ELISA实验。结果克隆的Der f24基因cDNA序列全长为357bp,编码118个氨基酸(GenBank Accession ***064571);Der f24原核表达主要形式为不可溶的包涵体,纯化后的重组Der f24蛋白分子量约为14kDa。IgE-WB结果显示,重组Der f24与10例粉尘螨过敏患者血清呈强阳性反应,而与10例健康对照组均为阴性。IgE-ELISA结果显示,合成表位肽(No.1 75-88aa:Z=5.6734、No.2 44-57aa:Z=5.6720和No.3 104-117aa:Z=5.6791;P<0.0001)均与22例粉尘螨过敏患者血清呈阳性反应,而与22例健康对照组血清呈阴性反应。结论本研究成功克隆表达了Der f24cDNA,重组Der f24可结合粉尘螨过敏血清IgE,鉴定了3个潜在的IgE B细胞表位。本研究为进一步防治螨性过敏性疾病奠定了技术基础。

Removal of hexavalent chromium Cr (VI) using activated carbon prepared from mango kernel activated with H 3 PO 4

The present work reported the adsorption of Cr (VI) from aqueous solutions on activated carbon prepared from mango kernel, a seasonal waste from mango fruits. Kernels from dried mango fruit shells were taken out and pulverized in a micro-pulverizing mill. The powder thus obtained was activated with 40% H 3 PO4 and carbonized at 600 °C for 1 hour in an inert atmosphere. Physico-chemical characteristics such as elemental composition, surface area, functional groups and surface morphology of the activated carbon were analyzed using elemental analyzer, BET surface area analyzer, fTIR spectroscopy and SEM analysis respectively. Batch adsorption experiments were performed to investigate the effects of Cr (VI) concentration, carbon dose, pH, rate of agitation, time and temperature. The maximum adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) was found to be 7.8 mg g −1 at pH 2 and temperature 35 °C. The Langmuir adsorption isotherm best represented the equilibrium data and a pseudo-second order relation represented the adsorption kinetics.

Utilization of cotton plant ash and char for removal of 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid

Cotton is a common Indian crop grown on a considerable portion of farmland across the country. After separating the useful product (cotton fibers), the other parts of the plant (stalks, leaves, etc.) are discarded as wastes. In most cases, these plant materials are used as fuel in boilers or households. Cotton wastes when ignited in the presence and absence of air produce cotton plant ash (CPA) and cotton plant char (CPC), respectively. However, CPA and CPC produced pose environmental problems such as safe disposal. Thus, there is an urgent need to characterize the physical and chemical properties of these derivatives and to identify their potential uses. This study highlights the potential utilization of CPA and CPC as adsorbents of 2,4-D. The main components in CPA, namely, CaO and K 2 O, provide micronutrients to the soil and are thus useful as a biofertilizers. Moreover, low manufacturing cost and higher availability favor the use of CPA as an efficient, low-cost adsorbent as well as a potential source of vital micronutrients. The adsorption capacity of CPA and CPC was tested using 2,4 dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) as the representative herbicide. Experimental data were analyzed by freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherms, and these fitted well with the Langmuir model. The adsorption capacity q 0 was found to be 0.64 mg/g for CPA and 3.93 mg/g for CPC. Pseudo-first-order pseudo-second-order and intraparticle diffusion kinetic models were applied to experimental data, and the pseudo second order kinetics model showed best fit for the adsorption of 2,4-D on CPA and CPC. Both CPA and CPC were characterized using proximate analysis, SEM images, BET surface area, XRf, fTIR, and CHNS. The BET surface area was found to be 2 and 109 m 2 /g, respectively, for CPA and CPC. Adsorption study results indicated that both CPA and CPC are very effective cheap adsorbent for 2,4-D removal.

PET-radiopharmaceuticals are an important part of modern nuclear medicine, even though the availability of these compounds to registered nuclear doctors is limited in many ways. New regulations dealing with availability will enter into force along with the 15 § 4a Clause 1 No. 3 will no longer apply, meaning that production and application will be encompassed within the AMG and the performance of all related practices will require registration with the approving authority in accordance with § 67 paragraph 2. In this situation, it is necessary to develop radiopharmaceutical production within normal working conditions. MVZ-DTZ Berlin has done this in cooperation with the Institute for Nuclear Chemistry at Mainz University. After operating for 2 years MVZ-DTZ Berlin guarantees successful and reliable medical care of its patients. Due to the reliability of its production, MVZ-DTZ Berlin has also begun radiotherapy. Rheological Properties, Molecular Distribution, and Microstructure of fortunella margarita (Lour.) Swingle Polysaccharides

fortunella margarita polysaccharides (fMPS) are one of the main bioactive components of f. margarita. The activity is related to their rheological properties and structure. The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between rheological properties, molecular distribution, and microstructure of crude fMPS (C-fMPS) and purified fMPS (P-fMPS). The results showed that both of solutions were shear-thinning pseudoplastic fluids with flow properties in line with the Power Law model. The pseudoplasticity of P-fMPS was stronger compared to C-fMPS. Additionally, the molecular weight and polydispersity of P-fMPS were greater, whereas the molecular radius was less compared to C-fMPS. The surface of C-fMPS was rough and dense whereas P-fMPS displayed a smooth network structure by environment scanning electron microscopy. According to confocal laser scanning microscopy, C-fMPS dispersed in the medium without connected network, whereas the network of P-fMPS was unevenly distributed in the medium and the shape was compact and smooth. The molecular distribution and microstructure of P-fMPS were attributed to the purification process while rearrangement and aggregation of polysaccharide molecules took place, which resulted in the significant difference of rheological properties between C-fMPS and P-fMPS. Practical Application The rheological properties, molecular distribution, and microstructure of f. margarita polysaccharides were first time investigated in this study. The results provided background and practical knowledge for the effective preparation, purification of fMPS, and demonstrated the relationship between the structure and rheological properties. fMPS could be explored as a natural food thickener, stabilizer, and texture modifier due to its specific rheological properties.
