This article reconstructs the phases of development of the history of education as a school subject and subject within the framework of the education of teachers at teacher training schools from 1869 onwards, and the presence of these contents at teacher training academies after 1960 and faculties of education after 1986. At the same time, it examines the position and the presence of this subject in the course of educational studies at the faculty of Arts in Ljubljana during the interwar period and during the period following the Second World War until Slovenia's gaining of independence. Also presented is the situation in this field in three study programmes of educational science in Slovenia. On this subject, the article will look at changes in content focus. Based on the analysis of records on J. f. Herbart in textbooks on the history of education and educational articles, an attempt is made to recognise the development of interpretational patterns and to focus on his educational ideas relating to current trends. Although J. f. Herbart may be regarded as one of the key educational classics, authors in Slovenia have seldom read Herbart in the original. for more than a century, the records relating to him have been repeating controversial stereotypes, and only in the recent period has there been a positive shift in this field.

This dissertation attempts to trace the Jamesian influence on selected novels of manners by John Galsworthy, Natsume Soseki, and f. Scott fitzgerald, who are three leading early-twentieth-century novelists of manners from England, Japan, and America respectively. In view of the recent inclination to accentuate the coexistence of social and psychological dimensions in the novel of manners, this study maintains that the influential version of this form implemented by Henry James in the literary scene anticipates the later- published individuation theory of Carl Gustav Jung who is known to have been influenced by Henry's equally eminent psychologist and philosopher brother, William James. By analysing the selected novels with regard to both the Jamesian novel of manners and Jungian individuation, this dissertation aims to lay bare Henry James's extensive and transformative influence within the novel of manners tradition not only in terms offoregrounding the psychological dimension already inherent in this form, but also with respect to turning its interest towards the unconscious. Within this framework, Henry James's The American, John Galsworthy's Jocelyn, Natsume Soseki's Kokoro, and f. Scott fitzgerald's Tender is the Night are examined.

In 2013 [2], Aurichi introduced a topological property named selectively ccc that can be viewed as a selective version of the countable chain condition (CCC). Later, Bal and Ko & ccaron;inac in [3] extended Aurichi's work and defined the star version of the selectively ccc property called selectively k-star-ccc. The aim of this paper is twofold. firstly, we establish connections between the selectively k-star-ccc properties, the chain conditions and other star-Lindel & ouml;f properties. Secondly, some examples are presented to solve questions raised by Xuan and Song in [12]. (c) 2025 Elsevier B.V. William f. Buckley is generally regarded as one of the founders of modern conservatism. Despite his recognition as one of the leaders of modern conservative thought,he has received scant attention from academics in any particular discipline. The paucity of literature on Buckley suggests that his contribution to American constitutionalism has not been fully appreciated. To date there has been no comprehensive analysis of Buckley's nonfiction writings for the purpose of revealing the foundations of his constitutionalism. This dissertation analyzes Buckley's nonfiction writings in the context of classical, medieval, and modern philosophy for the purpose of determining the precise nature of his understanding of constitutionalism. There is a tendency, particularly in modern times,to view constitutionalism as a set of judicial glosses on the meaning and substance of the written Constitution. This understanding of constitutionalism has resulted in the aggrandizement of the United States Supreme Court among American institutions. Against this view,Buckley argues that a proper understanding of constitutionalism rests on the foundations of religion, tradition, and moral conventions. This of course suggests that there are fundamental underlying constitutional experiences which may reflect more accurately the reality of the written document. These underlying experiences reveal a normative reality consisting of a political order's values and traditions, which in turn legitimate the substance of the written political instrument. Buckley's writings reveal a conception of constitutionalism which must remain normative, grounded in human experience, and tethered to God. Constitutionalism itself must be understood to be animated by the customs, traditions, and values of the political order, the very real experiences of individual citizens. It is argued in this paper that Buckley's antipathy toward liberalism stems from his perception of the tendency of liberalism to reject tradition and many of

The study assessed the feasibility of using a Turkish-version of the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers, Revised (M-CHAT-R/f) as a screening tool for an urban low risk population of young children. M-CHAT-R/f was completed for 6712 children between ages 16 and 36 months living in Istanbul, Turkey. Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 was served as the main measure for diagnosis. M-CHAT-R/f screen was positive for 9.8% of children. At follow up interview, 39.7% of initial screen-positive children met criteria for ASD. The study identified 57 (1 in 117) children with ASD (0.8%;95% CI 0.063-1.05%). M-CHAT-R/f performed comparably in Turkey as in United States. Implications of the study for future universal screening for autism in Turkey is also discussed.
