This paper aims at the BP neural network model, to against the problems of the weakness of capability of knowledge acquisition and low stability of learning and memory. The paper put forward anew fast error back propagation algorithm, and give an example to make a comparison between BP algorithm and fbp algorithm on fault diagnosis, The diagnosis results indicate the reliability of this method.

Multi-source computed tomography (CT) imaging has unique technical advantages not only for dynamic objects, but also for large-size objects by designing its imaging scan mode. Using the triple-source fan-beam imaging scan mode under three circular trajectories with two different radii, we in this study developed and analyzed theoretically several exact reconstruction algorithms in terms of full-scan and short-scan for three sets of truncated projection data. This triple-source scan configuration in different radii cases is easier to be simulated by a single-source scan configuration in an industrial CT system. The proposed algorithms are based on the idea of filtering-back-projection (fbp) algorithm, and can reconstruct the large-size objects under the same CT devices. The developed algorithms avoid data rebinning and can provide exact and fast image reconstruction. The results of the numerical simulation based data analysis verified that new algorithms were accurate and effective.

Interior Reconstruction from Truncated Projection Data in Cone-beam Computed Tomography

The interior reconstruction of completely truncated projection data is a frontier research hotspot in cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) application. It is difficult to find a method with acceptable accuracy and high efficiency to solve it. Based on the simplified algebraic reconstruction technique (S-ART) algorithm and the filtered back projection (fbp) algorithm with the new filter, an efficient and feasible interior reconstruction algorithm is proposed in this paper. The algorithm uses the S-ART algorithm to quickly recover the complete projection data and then uses the new ramp filter which can suppress the high-frequency noise in the projection data to filter the recovered complete projection data. Finally, the interior reconstructed images are obtained by back projection. The computational complexity of the proposed algorithm is close to that of the fbp algorithm for the reconstruction of the whole object, and the reconstructed image quality is acceptable, which provides an effective method for interior reconstruction in CBCT. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the method.

Recently, deep-learning based methods have been widely used for computed tomography (CT) reconstruction. However, most of these methods need extra steps to convert the sinogrmas into CT images and so their networks are not end-to-end. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end deep network for CT image reconstruction, which directly maps sparse sinogramss to CT images. Our network has three cascaded blocks, where the first block is used to denoise and interpolate the sinograms, the second to map the sinograms to CT images and the last to denoise the CT images. The second block of our network implements the filter backprojection (fbp) algorithm or the Feldkamp-Davis-Kress (FDK) algorithm, where the filter step is implemented by a one-dimensional convolution layer and the backprojection is implemented by a sparse matrix multiplication. By incorporating the fbp/FDK algorithm into our network, training a fully connected layer to convert the sinograms to CT images is avoided and the number of weights of our network is decreased. Our network is trained with two labels, the sinograms and CT images, and can reconstruct good CT images even if the input sinograms are very sparse. Experimental results show that our network outperforms the state-of-the-art approaches on test datasets for the sparse CT reconstruction under fan beam and circular cone beam scanning geometry.

Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) is one type of fusion energy research which could initiate nuclear fusion reactions through heating and compressing thermonuclear fuel. Compared to a pure plastic target, Germanium doping into the CH ablator layer by Glow Discharge Polymer (GDP) technique can increase the ablation velocity and the standoff distance between the ablation front and laser-deposition region. During target fabrication process, quantitative doping of Ge should be accurately controlled. Particle Induced X-ray Emission Tomography (PIXE-T) can make not only quantification of the concentration, but also reconstruction of the spatial distribution of doped element. The Si (Li) detector for PIXE tomography technique had a disadvantage of low counting rate. To make up this deficiency, another detector of Si (Li) with the same configuration positioned at the opposite side with the same detective angle 135 have been implemented. Simultaneously acquired elemental maps of Ge obtained using two detectors may be different because of the X-ray absorption along the X-ray exit route in the target. In this paper, the X-ray detection efficiency is drastically improved by this dual-PIXE tomography system. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

CP-MCT is a novel microwave imaging technology,which is harmless to human body and low *** paper attempts to apply it to the detection of hemorrhagic cerebral stroke(HCS) by means of simulation,and try to analyze its ***,we build four realistic HCS brain images whose voxel value is the brain tissue attenuation constant at 2 *** we calculate the Radon projection values of them and superimpose noises with different signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) to simulate the propagation of signal in different ***,we use filtered back projection(fbp) algorithm to reconstruct the HCS brain images and calculate the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE) values between the reconstructed images and the corresponding original images to evaluate image reconstruction *** show that the RMSE values are larger and decrease significantly with the increasing of SNR when the SNR is below 30 dB,and when SNR is above 30 dB,the RMSE values are around 8 NP/m.

We previously implemented a conical CT system as X-ray CT system for industrial inspection. But there is the problem, "missing cone" problem, which conical data is missed in fourier space, and vertical accuracy was comparatively low. We intend to improve the vertical accuracy by iterative phase retrieval algorithm. The overall reconstruction algorithm is based on Filtered back projection algorithm and Iterative Phase Retrieval algorithm. We implemented this simulation with the Shepp-Logan phantom, which is often used for CT simulation. Through the study it was revealed that the proposed method can recovery missing data of low frequency.

CT, which is the abbreviation of computer tomography, plays an important role in our daily life in medical testing, industrial testing, security testing and air transportation. Due to the inevitable error in installing a CT system, the quality of the reconstructed images tends to fall. Therefore, the CT imaging system's parameters calibration is of great significance in particular situations. In this paper, the first-generation CT machine is used to calibrate the rotation center of the specific template by using the geometric analysis method, and the iterative correction method is used to further improve the accuracy of the rotation center, so as to improve the accuracy of image reconstruction and accuracy. In addition, the employment of filtered back projection algorithm completes the task of rebuilding the images and achieves a higher accuracy.
