We present a method for automatically modifying a NeRF representation based on a single observation of a non-rigid transformed version of the original scene. Our method defines the transformation as a 3D flow, specifically as a weighted linear blending of rigid transformations of 3D anchor points that are defined on the surface of the scene. In order to identify anchor points, we introduce a novel correspondence algorithm that first matches RGB-based pairs, then leverages multi-view information and 3D reprojection to robustly filter false positives in two steps. We also introduce a new dataset for exploring the problem of modifying a NeRF scene through a single observation. Our dataset 1 1 https://***/ contains 113 synthetic scenes leveraging 47 3D assets. We show that our proposed method outperforms NeRF editing methods as well as diffusion-based methods, and we also explore different methods for filtering correspondences.

An adaptive corner detection algorithm based on OTSU threshold segmentation is proposed in this paper, and the purpose is to solve the problems of non-intelligent and multi-threshold for setting the thresholds of corner response function (CRF) and non-maximum suppression in Harris algorithm. First, original image was filtered by directional differential operators and Gaussian low-pass filter. Second, the adaptive segmentation threshold of CRF was calculated by using adaptive OTSU threshold segmentation algorithm, and the pre-selected corners were detected. On the basis of the above, a modified non-maximum suppression method was adopted to extract correct corners effectively. By comparison experiments with the traditional Harris corner detection algorithm, the following conclusions could be drawn, not only the optimal threshold could be calculated automatically by the improved algorithm, but also more correct corners could be extracted with accurate location, the precision and efficiency of corner detection algorithm could be improved comprehensively.

In response to the problem of poor tracking accuracy and susceptibility to temporal degradation in the presence of similar background interference in existing correlated filtering object tracking algorithms, a dynamic foreground perception correlation filter with spatiotemporal regularization term is proposed. Firstly, incorporating a temporal regularizer on the basis of DRCF to alleviate the problem of model temporal degradation; Secondly, a anomaly perception function is proposed, which uses a Kalman filter to correct the current frame tracking result when the correlation filter tracking result is unreliable. Finally, comparative experiments were conducted on the OTB-50 and OTB-100 datasets with various representative correlation filtering tracking algorithms. The experimental results showed that the algorithm proposed in this paper has good tracking performance, achieving a tracking speed of 49.18 fps.

Stress plays a significant role in human well-being. Chronic stress can lead to many life-threatening diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and asthma. Therefore, efficient monitoring and mitigating stress are of prime interest among researchers in this domain. The advancement of wearable and sensor technologies has made it possible to develop continuous stress monitoring in real-time. This study emphasizes developing a continuous stress estimator dedicated to wearable devices or smart watches. The study leverages the time domain features derived from inter-beat-interval signals from a photo photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor. A two-stage data filter is employed that uses an anomaly filter followed by a median filter. The features derived from the filtered data are utilized to get a stress estimation model. The proposed stress estimator has achieved a root mean squared error of 0.2 which is found lowest compared to the other baseline models. The model is evaluated in the edge device in the context of memory and inference time capabilities.

De-mining operations are crucial for humanitarian efforts and safety in conflict-affected regions. As conflicts persist, so do advancements in technology and the challenges they present, particularly with landmines containing very low or sub-gram metal contents. In this paper, we address the challenge of improving the accuracy of mine detection systems in mineralized soil. We present a novel algorithm based on dual adaptive filters to compensate the effect of soil mineralization. The filters learn the response of the mineralization content within the ground through supervised learning and remove the effects with a high degree of confidence (above 98%). The paper also considers a challenging mineralized environment containing the baked clay bricks and shows the effectiveness of the presented dual adaptive filter-based compensation (DAFC) algorithm for it. The parametric approach used in the algorithm also provides a way to reduce the effect of over compensation in real-time.

A Multiple Extended Target Tracking (METT) algorithm using the Star-convex Random Hypersurface Model (SRHM) in cooperation with Adaptive Target Birth Intensity (ATBI) is proposed in this paper to solve the problem that it is difficult to obtain the prior of the extended target newborn intensity in complex environments. Firstly, the Cardinalized Probability Hypothesis Density (CPHD) filter is used to establish a Bayesian filter framework for multiple extended targets. Then the SRHM is used to model the measurement distribution of the extended target, and the CPHD filter flow is embedded by the Unscented Transform (UT). In addition, based on the ATBI algorithm, the intensity of the new target is reversely derived from the measurement data, and the filter no longer depends on the prior information of the new target. The numerical experiment results verified that the SRHM-CPHD filter based on ATBI algorithm has better performance than the traditional Gaussian Mixture (GM) model for METT in the unknown newborn target intensity scene, and is more sensitive to the phenomenon of target newborn.

In this paper, this paper designs and implements a three-dimensional (3D) LiDAR object motion detection algorithm for real-time identification of 3D object positions in the surrounding environment. We first complete the point cloud preprocessing process to filter the data and then complete the object behaviors detection. In this paper, a passthrough filter and a voxel grid filter are used for the initial screening of point clouds. The point cloud data are then classified into object point clouds and ground point clouds using the Randomized Accordance Random Sampling Consistency (RANSAC) algorithm, and it filters out the ground point cloud. 3D object behavior recognition is completed by object detection algorithms. The DBSCAN algorithm is used as the point cloud clustering algorithm in the object detection system. Establish the center of gravity of the cluster after the clustering is complete. In order to confirm that the objects detected at different time points are the same object, this paper uses the Gale-Shapley algorithm to match the center of gravity of point cloud clustering result. Finally, it is verified that the method proposed in this study can obtain the ability to identify objects quickly, efficiently and correctly.

In daily life, we need different types of products as we use them. So, recommending recent products using an online system is essential for the consumer. In this paper, we present a novel approach to product recommendation leveraging recency-based techniques to enhance recommendation accuracy in dynamic online environments. The core of the methodology involves calculating recency values to prioritize recent interactions, ensuring that the recommended products align more closely with the current interests and demands of users. The interaction matrix, which depicts the user-product interaction data, was broken down using Non-negative Matrix Factorization (NMF) in order to do this. Once the data has undergone extensive preprocessing to guarantee its quality and relevance—including data cleaning, normalization, and filtering—the interaction matrix was produced. The user matrix and the product matrix, which capture latent components that represent underlying user preferences and product attributes, are two lower-dimensional matrices that we developed by NMF. The recommendation algorithm was then modified to incorporate the recency score, which emphasized recent user interactions by altering the conventional scoring methodologies. The top 5 products were suggested for each user based on their recency-adjusted scores, which took into account their most recent preferences and buying activity. Recency-based criteria are found to be effective in product recommendation systems, as proven by the proposed method, which showed an improvement in recommendation relevance, especially in contexts where user preferences change quickly.

Efficient and robust prediction of graph signals is challenging when the signals are under impulsive noise and have missing data. Exploiting graph signal processing (GSP) and leveraging the simplicity of the classical adaptive sign algorithm, we propose an adaptive algorithm on graphs named the Graph Normalized Sign (GNS). GNS approximated a normalization term into the update, therefore achieving faster convergence and lower error compared to previous adaptive GSP algorithms. In the task of the online prediction of multivariate temperature data under impulsive noise, GNS outputs fast and robust predictions.

State estimation for continuous time nonlinear systems, in bounded error framework, is concerned in this paper. Guaranteed state estimation is obtained without assumption of differentiability on the dynamical function. The proposed filter is mainly based on interval computations, bounded state assumption and with or without Lipschitz smoothness condition on the dynamical function. This filter is applied on a case study, highlighting the potential of the proposed filtering method.
