The rise in Machine Learning algorithms for identifying SMS spam has become popular due to a significant surge in unwanted text messages. Detecting SMS spam holds crucial importance for several reasons. Firstly, it can inundate mobile phone users’ message inboxes with irrelevant and unwanted messages, causing frustration and irritation. Secondly, SMS spam serves as a conduit for phishing scams, where scammers exploit fraudulent SMS messages to deceive users into divulging personal information or downloading malicious software. These scams can result in financial losses, identity theft, or other forms of fraud. Lastly, SMS spam can propagate malware or viruses, potentially compromising the security or functionality of the user’s device.

This paper presents a dual-stage grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) system designed to power a nonlinear load while simultaneously providing power factor correction on the AC mains using a shunt active power filter (SAPF). The system employs perturbation and observation control for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) from the PV generator, adapting to varying solar irradiance levels. On the grid side, a novel instantaneous active and reactive power (PQ) algorithm, utilizing a self-tuning filter (STF), extracts harmonic references even under non-ideal grid conditions. These references are used by an innovative predictive current control (PCC) strategy to generate the switching signals for a three-phase voltage source inverter (VSI). Additionally, a PI controller maintains the DC-link voltage of the SAPF at its reference value. The performance of the proposed system was evaluated under different conditions of grid harmonics, and unbalanced grid scenarios. Simulation findings indicate that the proposed PCC, coupled with the STF, performs effectively under these test conditions.

R3LIVE is a new multi-sensor fusion SLAM framework, which mainly uses the three sensors of lidar, camera and IMU to realize the effective fusion of heterogeneous data through the error state iterative Kalman filtering method, so as to achieve the function of efficient and accurate simultaneous positioning and mapping. Specifically, this system uses lidar and IMU to construct laser inertial odometer (LIO) to construct the geometry of the external environment, and also it builds a visual inertial odometer (VIO) with a camera and IMU to reconstruct a dense RGB map of the environment. However, in the face of the environment where dynamic objects appear, the positioning accuracy of the system will be affected due to the point cloud of the sensor on the dynamic objects. Moreover, the continuous point cloud of the dynamic objects will cause continuous “ghost” in the dense RGB map constructed. In order to solve the above problems, a fast Euclidean clustering algorithm is proposed to filter out dynamic targets, that is, before the LIO system laser point cloud registration, the input point cloud is initially classified by using a fast Euclidean clustering algorithm, and the original point cloud is divided into ground points, background points and foreground points, among which the ground points and background points are usually considered static points. The foreground points may be either dynamic or static points. Then, the viewpoint visibility method is used for the foreground points to further verify the existence of dynamic points, and the dynamic points in the foreground points are filtered out. Finally, a widely distributed sparse extraction method is designed to solve the problem of excessive extraction of surface features in scenes with rich structure and texture. This enhances the real-time performance and robustness of the system in dynamic scenarios.

This paper addresses the challenge of achieving resilient quantized consensus in multiagent systems operating within adversarial environments. Existing algorithms often rely on an assumption of the maximum adversarial agents in the multiagent systems or neighbors which may be impossible to appropriately estimate in practice. To address this limitation, we propose a novel filtering method that dynamically maintains a trusted neighbor set to identify and filter out suspicious states without requiring knowledge of the maximum adversaries. Additionally, we introduce a distributed resilient quantized control protocol tailored for regular agents, ensuring consensus despite limited communication and memory constraints that enforce agents to adopt integer values. We analyze a graph-theoretic condition that is both necessary and sufficient for our proposed control protocol to succeed. Finally, we validate our theoretical findings through simulations.

An on-chip computational spectrometer consisting of a planar array of broadband optical filters is proposed, which are formed by plasmonic metasurfaces. By adjusting the structural parameters of plasmonic metasurface, the optical characteristics of a stop-band filter in the mid-infrared band are realized. By applying compressive sensing (CS) and genetic algorithm (GA), the incident spectrum can be reconstructed. Simulation results show the proposed design can successfully reconstruct the spectra over the 1.5 to 4 μm spectral range with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) resolution of 30 nm and the bandwidth-resolution ratio (BRR) of 83.33. These results support future applications in mid-infrared on-chip spectrometers.

Currently, one of the main challenges of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems is to optimize their energy efficiency. Solar panels and dc-dc converters controlled by maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques are the two main components of a PV *** optimize the production of the PV installation, the converter holds pivotal significance. Given its direct impact on the overall performance of the PV system, selecting the appropriate DC-DC converter becomes *** study meticulously compares a variety of non-isolated power converters, encompassing Zeta, SEPIC and Cuk *** input capacitors have been perfectly integrated in all converters, to filter voltage ripple and current ripple. The control of these converters was achieved through the implementation of an incremental conductance algorithm (InCon), improving efficiency and precision. In addition, a meticulously selected irradiation profile was used, to thoroughly test the effectiveness of the *** research findings underscore the SEPIC converter's consistent outperformance, showcasing an unparalleled tracking efficiency of 99.01% compared to its counterparts.

Filter bank multi-carrier-offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC-OQAM) technology has better spectrum utilization, stronger anti-multipath interference performance and lower time-domain waveform peak than traditional OFDM technology. In FBMC-OQAM system, the overall performance of the system is determined by the prototype filter. In order to construct a multi-carrier system with approximate perfect reconstruction, this paper proposes an iterative algorithm to design a prototype filter. The algorithm reduces the design problem to an unconstrained optimization problem, whose objective function is the weighted sum of the stopband energy, inter-symbol interference and inter-channel interference of the prototype filter. By deriving the gradient vector of the objective function, the gradient descent method is used to iteratively optimize the prototype filter. In each iteration update, the prototype filter is solved by a closed formula, so the computational complexity of the algorithm is very low, and the optimization problem can be solved quickly and effectively. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves the overall performance of the system.

High penetration of renewable energy sources in an interconnected power system arise the challenge in maintaining stability of the power system. Automatic generation control attacks this issues and design of a proper controller is essential. So, a tilt-integral-derivative with filter controller is proposed whose gain values are optimized with a recently developed Zebra optimization algorithm technique. The superiority of the proposed technique is shown by the comparative analysis between Firefly algorithm and zebra optimization algorithm is done. The simulation results shows that the dynamic response of the system in case of settling time, peak overshoot and undershoots, the proposed technique shows better outcome.

The Persistent Scatterer SAR Interferometry is the most widely used remote sensing-based technology worldwide for Line of Sight (LOS) displacement measurements. However, SAR data often suffers from many phase distortions, which reduces the accuracy of LOS displacement measurements. Variations in incidence angles across the co-registered imageries in the interferogram are one of the expected causes of phase distortions. This study proposes slightly modifying the Goldstein phase filtering formula by adding an average incidence angle expression. The LOS measurements were observed to improve to the most widely accepted surface displacement values reported for the same study area by GNSS and LiDAR-based studies.

The edge and texture preserving ability of fusion algorithm will be affected under the interference of noise and artifacts. To solve this problem, an infrared and visible image fusion method based on multi-feature is proposed. Firstly, iterative guided filter with scale-aware and edge-preserving properties is applied to decompose the source images into base layer and a series of detail layers. The iteration process can not only better separate the spatially overlapping image feature information, but also effectively reduce noise and suppress edge artifacts. Then, in order to retain more important details of the source image, binary weight maps are synthetically determined by edge, sharpness and contrast features, which are optimized by guided filtering to reduce noise and suppress artifacts. Finally, the fusion image is obtained by linear combination of the decomposition information. Experiments show that proposed method is superior to other methods in suppressing artifacts and noise.
