Accurately diagnosing weak faults in marine fuel injectors is essential for minimizing diesel engine testing and maintenance expenses. Consequently, this paper introduces an innovative weak fault diagnosis method for common rail injectors, integrating the Improved Sparrow Search Algorithm (ISSA) optimized maximum second-order cyclicality blind decoding (CYCBD) with Refine Composite Hierarchy Bidirectional Diversity Entropy (RCHBDE). Initially, we propose the ISSA algorithm to find the optimal filter length for CYCBD under different states of fuel injector signals, and apply the optimal CYCBD filter to denoise and filter the fuel injector source signal. To overcome the limitations of Multiscale Bidirectional Diversity Entropy (MBDE) in capturing high-frequency component information, we introduce RCHBDE for extracting fault features from the filtered signals. This proposed method effectively detects weak fault conditions in common rail injectors and, compared to existing methods, demonstrates superior fault recognition rates.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals play an essential role in cardiovascular disease diagnosis. However, ECG signals frequently encounter contamination from various noises, such as additive white Gaussian noise, muscle artifact, and baseline wander, which alters the ECG signal and can result in misdiagnosis. This paper introduces a robust method for efficiently removing noise from ECG signals utilizing an adaptive noise canceller (ANC) based on the gases Brownian motion optimization (GBMO) algorithm. The suggested approach dynamically modifies the filter coefficients according to the input signal and noise characteristics, making it more effective and efficient than traditional methods. The results show that the suggested ANC surpasses other state-of-the-art noise removal techniques in terms of standard performance metrics.

Obtaining the accurate attitudes of vehicle is of great importance for safe operation and automatic driving. This paper researches a vehicle attitudes measurement method where the low-cost MEMS IMU devices are used, and proposes an improved attitudes measurement algorithm based on Mahony Complementary Filter. According to IRI (International Roughness Index) measured in real-time, the complementary filter coefficients are adjusted adaptively to achieve the purpose of high-precision measurement under different road conditions. The experimental verification on a self-developed prototype vehicle model indicates that the proposed method has better performance than other traditional methods on moving vehicle attitudes measurement.

A sequential recommendation algorithm named SAFTRec, based on the self-attention mechanism and Fourier transform, is proposed. using Fourier transform to filter the matrix output from the embedding layer. Effectively solves the noise problem that exists in sequence recommendation. Concurrently, the implementation of the self-attention mechanism aids in bolstering the sequence data's capacity for feature capture and in elevating the model's expressive capabilities. Rigorous experimentation on an authentic Amazon dataset has been executed, with outcomes indicating that our proposed approach excels over competing methods in terms of Hit Rate@N, NDCG@N, and MRR metrics.

Tracking pedestrians commonly relies on detection algorithms. However, these algorithms are not always correct and may miss some pedestrians. Although using multiple cameras is a way to handle this, some failures still need to be fixed. Thus, it is desirable that the tracker attempt to fix the detections. This work introduces an online and untrained module designed to recover missing detections during multiple camera tracking. The module applies linear extrapolation and Gaussian process regression techniques to produce new smoothed coordinates. Furthermore, we propose a filter to remove duplicate detections. We attached the module to a multi-camera baseline tracker and evaluated it on the WILDTRACK and MultiviewX datasets. The multiple object tracking accuracy was improved by 0.95 p.p. on WILDTRACK and 2.34 p.p. on MultiviewX with the addition of the module. Moreover, this strategy successfully recovered 17.98% of missing detections in WILDTRACK and a significant 40.12% in MultiviewX, underscoring its practical application and potential to address the problem.

This paper concerns a Gaussian filter estimation framework for nonlinear systems with multiple non-ideal scenarios. Multiple non-ideal scenarios can be modeled by stochastic uncertainty, correlated noise and packet dropout compensation. The stochastic uncertainty of the system is embodied in the multiplicative noise of synchronous correlation in the process equation and the measurement equation. The correlated noise is described by the process noise and observation noises at the same time. When the estimator does not receive any measurement data, the prediction compensation mechanism is used to compensate the measurement information. Firstly, in the time update process, a two-step prediction method based on projection theorem can simultaneously achieve decorrelation of multiplicative noise, process noise and measurement noise. Then, during the measurement update, the measurement information provided based on the prediction compensation mechanism is used to update the measurement based on the projection theorem. A recursive Gaussian filter estimation framework is designed. Finally, the proposed estimation framework is numerically implemented based on the third-degree spherical-radial cubature rule. Two simulation examples show that the proposed algorithm achieves numerical stability and effectiveness when applied to state estimation problem.

Despite extensive research in visual SLAM leveraging semantic segmentation techniques, many approaches primarily use semantic labels to handle only dynamic objects. Some recent methods have incorporated semantic segmentation into the SLAM system by quantifying semantic class differences. However, scoring differences is not straightforward and computationally expensive. Additionally, photometric noise caused by illumination changes and varying camera viewpoints can lead to false positives in feature matching and loop closing. To overcome these challenges, we present a robust visual-inertial state estimator named SSG-VINS, which integrates semantic segmentation throughout the algorithm to improve robustness and accuracy. Key contributions include efficient utilization of semantic segmentation for state estimation, a novel filter for reliable feature tracking, robust weighted optimization emphasizing long-persistent features, and a filter to reduce false positives in loop detection. We assess the accuracy of our framework using the uHuman2 dataset and compare its performance to another state-of-the-art algorithm. Results demonstrate that SSG-VINS consistently outperforms the leading method, providing more precise state estimation and reducing false positives in various environments.

In this paper, a functional filter for a category of linear delayed singular system with unknown input is developed directly in the frequency domain. The constant time delay is present in both state and input vectors. An unknown input is also considered in the state equation and a bounded disturbance vector should acts in both dynamic and output equations. The proposed approach estimates both an unknown input and a functional state independently from the delay time in frequency domain. Our solution is based on polynomial approach using MFD tools. To prove the efficiency of our proposed algorithm, we give a numerical example.

In this paper, we study a novel fixed-time extremum-seeking algorithm that eliminates the need for filters to obtain an appropriate estimation of the gradient of a static map for optimization problems where the cost function is available only via measurements or evaluations. Previous research leveraged these filters to facilitate the application of averaging theory in analyzing the stability properties of the system. Specifically, they were employed to separate, using multi-time scale techniques, the non-smooth terms of the algorithms from the rapidly fluctuating oscillatory terms associated with periodic dithers. This separation was achieved through a singular perturbation argument, where the filter acted as boundary layer system with a sufficiently fast transient. However, since in many practical applications such transient cannot be made arbitrarily fast, and since classic extremum-seeking algorithms are also known to be stable even in the absence of filters, it is natural to ask whether the fixed-time extremum-seeking dynamics can also be simplified by removing the filters while achieving semi-global practical fixed-time convergence properties. This paper addresses this question for scalar quadratic cost functions, providing positive and negative answers depending on the structure of the cost. Additionally, we demonstrate that removing the filters results in average dynamics distinct from the conventional fixed-time gradient flow dynamics found in existing literature. Furthermore, we provide numerical examples to illustrate our findings.

With the continuous development of science and technology, information becomes indispensable in people's daily life. Among them, the image as a carrier plays an important role. It is difficult to directly obtain image information. We often irradiate the high-intensity coherent wave emitted by the light source onto the target to obtain the light wave with information. After propagating a certain distance to form diffraction intensity, we obtain the spectrum of the target. Finally, we perform denoising based on the spectrum. Obtain image information through two-dimensional inverse discrete Fourier transform and then obtain the target *** spectrum information measured by over-sampled images contains some noises, which can be divided into Gaussian noise, Poisson noise, impulse noise and Rayleigh noise according to their statistical characteristics. Based on the noisy spectrum in Annexes 1, 2 and 3, this paper studies two problems through denoising methods such as mean value filter, statistical ranking filter and adaptive filter. We consider the influence of noise type, filter specification and other factors on the image restoration effect, and give the image restoration probability under different oversampling rates and prior information by constructing noisy spectrum information data. The effectiveness of the algorithm has potential application value for military and medical fields.
