The multisensor random finite set (RFS) based multitarget tracking filters like probability hypothesis density (PHD) filter have been widely developed. Many existing fusion algorithms are restricted to scalability or computational efficiency. In this paper, we develop a distributed sensor fusion algorithm for multitarget tracking using sequential Monte Carlo cardinalized probability hypothesis density (SMC-CPHD) filter with the Chernoff fusion method, which is quite suitable for nonlinear fusion process. We illustrate the CPHD filter at first, then we introduce the Chernoff fusion in log-linear form, which is a generalization of the Covariance Intersection scheme, and we provide a combination and implementation method for the Chernoff fusion and SMC-CPHD filter. The performance of the Chernoff fusion algorithm for SMC-CPHD filter is demonstrated through a simulation of multitarget tracking scenario. The results show that the proposed distributed multitarget tracking algorithm is efficient both in estimation accuracy and computational load.

Orthogonal translation computed laminography (OTCL) focuses on non-destructive testing of plate-like objects in the thickness direction, which can obtain higher geometric magnification than computed tomography (CT). However, the structure of OTCL scanning mode will lead to incomplete projection data, resulting in aliasing artifacts in the reconstructed images. To suppress aliasing artifacts, this paper proposed an adaptive gradient L0 minimization aliasing artifacts suppression method for computed laminography filtered backprojection (CLFBP) algorithm reconstructed images, named CLFBP-LO. Firstly, the CLFBP algorithm is used to reconstruct images from OTCL projection data. Secondly, the gradient L0 minimization parameter is adaptively set via the clarity of the image, thereby eliminating aliasing artifacts. The experimental results show that the proposed CLFBP-LO method can effectively eliminate aliasing artifacts and avoid images over smooth.

A hybrid recommendation algorithm based on K-means++ and dynamic temporal weights is proposed to address the problems of data sparsity and low temporal correlation in traditional collaborative filtering recommendation algorithms. The Weight Slope One algorithm fills the score matrix and reduces the data sparsity, then the K-means++ clustering algorithm is used to cluster the filled data, and then the dynamic time weight is introduced into the collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm based on the user and the item and the item and user dependence is adjusted by the $\boldsymbol{\beta}$ adjusting factor, to achieve better stability and accuracy. Experimental results show that the algorithm better solves the problems of sparse rating data, poor recommendation timeliness, and significantly improved recommendation effect.

Dynamic detection of catenary geometry parameters (CGP) has a significant impact on the stability of the train power supply. Aiming at the problem that the detection speed of traditional detection methods can not meet the high frequency, high speed, and low fitness, this paper presents a non-contact, high-precision, real-time detection system for the CGP based on FPGA hardware acceleration. Dynamic measurement techniques based on monocular cameras and line-structured light. Firstly, the FPGA controls the camera to acquire images in real-time, and a parallel three-step median filtering algorithm is developed to reduce image noise, ten times more efficiently than the traditional median filter. Secondly, in order to solve the catenary localization problem in complex scenes, Hough transform is utilized to detect catenary, and the mean-shift algorithm is improved according to the hardware structure to realize catenary localization and tracking in complex scenes. Additionally, the weighted centroid extraction algorithm combined with hardware acceleration is optimized to achieve the stable extraction of pixel coordinates. Finally, the FPGA migration of the algorithms is completed. The coordinates of the spot center are transmitted to the host via Ethernet, and CGP is calculated by reconstructing the line structured light in 3D. After testing an image with a resolution of 800*480, Modelsim simulation takes 0.02 ms to process one image frame. When the algorithm is transplanted to the FPGA platform, the process from sending the control word to receiving the center of mass coordinates takes only 25 ms. The experiments demonstrate that the detection system outlined in this paper exhibits high accuracy and speed, adaptability, portability, and ease of installation, making it highly valuable for practical applications.

In recent years, there is an increasing demand for indoor localization, and multi-source data fusion algorithms have gradually become a research hotspot. Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology is widely used for its high accuracy, but the effect decreases significantly in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environments. Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) technology estimates step length and direction from sensor data, which has high localization accuracy in a short period of time, but the problem of error accumulation is serious with the increase of time. To address these problems, this paper proposes a nested Extended Kalman Filter (N-EKF) that fuses the ranging information of UWB with the step length and heading angle values of PDR to obtain the pedestrian position coordinates. The experimental results show that the fusion algorithm reduces the average error by 75% and 52.2% compared to the UWB and PDR localization algorithms, which effectively alleviates the excessive UWB ranging error in weak NLOS environments.

This paper leverages machine learning algorithms to forecast and analyze financial time series. The process begins with a denoising autoencoder to filter out random noise fluctuations from the main contract price data. Then, one-dimensional convolution reduces the dimensionality of the filtered data and extracts key information. The filtered and dimensionality-reduced price data is fed into a GANs network, and its output serve as input of a fully connected network. Through cross-validation, a model is trained to capture features that precede large price fluctuations. The model predicts the likelihood and direction of significant price changes in real-time price sequences, placing trades at moments of high prediction accuracy. Empirical results demonstrate that using autoencoders and convolution to filter and denoise financial data, combined with GANs, achieves a certain level of predictive performance, validating the capabilities of machine learning algorithms to discover underlying patterns in financial sequences.

Multi-object tracking algorithm based on deep learning has made rapid development in the field of pedestrian tracking. However, there are few tracking studies of unmanned surface vessels in the marine field, some research institutions have attempted to integrate YOLOv5 DeepSORT for unmanned surface vessels tracking. The motion of unmanned surface vessels exhibits nonlinear characteristics. However, the Kalman filter algorithm assumes linear motion of objects. The frame rate of the videos in the MOT datasets is 25 FPS, and the pedestrian movement is slow. The frame rate of unmanned surface vessels videos is low, and unmanned surface vessels movement faster compared to pedestrians. The position of the same object changes greatly in the consecutive frames. Consequently, traditional Kalman filter algorithms and IOU for association match results in poor performance in multiobject tracking for unmanned surface vessels. To address this issue, we propose an interactive multiple model (IMM) filter algorithm, and the position metric employ Euclidean distance. This method demonstrates stronger robustness and accuracy on a self-built datasets for unmanned surface vessels tracking. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method significantly improves tracking performance: MOTA increases by 6.2%, HOTA by 7.4%, IDF1 by 7.5%, and IDSW decreases by 100 instances. The method shows strong performance in tracking unmanned surface vessels.

To address the problem that the traditional tracker was unable to maintain tracking when there were some missing pulses of periodic pulse signals, in this study, an automatic tracking algorithm for periodic pulse signals based on a central difference Kalman filter (CDKF) was proposed. Based on the actual situation in the application of sonar pulse reconnaissance, the target distance was relatively far with a limited bearing change rate, so using bearing and bearing change rate, two-dimensional linear motion and observation equation models were established. Then, an automatic start method of pulse tracking was presented. The method was based on pulse sameness discrimination. When the number of identical pulses exceeded the specified number, a tracker was started. Then, based on CDKF tracking, to predict and filter target bearing smoothly utilizing the established motion and observation equations, the automatic tracking procedure was presented. When there was a missing bearing observation in the input detection sequence, the predicted bearing value was used as a tracked one. When the signals could be detected again, the CDKF algorithm was operated using the relation between the predicted values and the current observations to maintain the tracking of the target. If the number of successive pulse deficiencies exceeded the specified, the tracking procedure was ended. Finally, simulation results of several situations with missing some stochastic pulses revealed that the effects of CDKF and KF had no significant difference on tracking even bearing change rate target. Moreover, although under linear motion and observation equation models, the effect of CDKF was better than KF on tracking dynamic bearing change rate targets. In the scenario of sonar pulse reconnaissance, adopting simple two-dimensional linear equations could ensure the effectiveness of tracking and avoid complicated calculations caused by nonlinear models.

With the rapid development of industrial automation technology, the end effector of industrial robots, as an important component of intelligent manufacturing, has increasingly high performance and precision requirements. The control accuracy and response speed of industrial robots at the end of execution are key to achieving high-precision operations. However, in practical applications, sensor data is often affected by noise and interference, resulting in errors in the accuracy of end control execution, which seriously affects the end response speed and product production efficiency. To address this issue, this paper investigates the Kalman filtering algorithm based on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and applies it to the execution end of industrial robots. Through the high parallelism and real-time processing capability of FPGA, the efficient implementation of Kalman filtering algorithm has been achieved. Through theoretical analysis and experimental verification, the superiority of this implementation method in improving processing speed and signal purity has been proved, providing strong support for high-precision operation of industrial robots.

This paper explores a method for accurately identifying the longitudinal characteristic parameters of a missile using an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) in the missile guidance system, followed by the application of a pole placement algorithm to optimize the control system. Firstly, the EKF algorithm eliminates observation and system noise to provide high-precision estimation and filtering of the missile's longitudinal motion states (such as position, velocity, and acceleration), thereby accurately understanding the current state of the missile. Subsequently, the pole placement algorithm adjusts the controller parameters according to the desired system dynamic characteristics, optimizing system stability and dynamic performance. This method achieved a remarkable improvement in the missile guidance system's performance, achieving a relative identification error of less than 4%, while ensuring the overload has a rapid rise time without overshoot.
