A new node localization approach of Wireless Sensor Networks based on improved fruit fly optimization algorithm is presented to optimize the location accuracy. This approach reduce the distance error between the unknown node and beacon node by improved fruit fly optimization algorithm. Then, instruct the influence of different initial position, different population group and different number of beacons on the localization accuracy. Simulation results indicate that the localization algorithm is simple, fast convergence and high accuracy. Compared the localization accuracy that is optimized by improved APIT and improved PSO with improved fruit fly optimization algorithm, the algorithm based on improved fruit fly optimization algorithm is more accurate than other intelligent algorithm in WSNs node localization.

A method to establish performance degradation model for barrel based on general regression neural network with fruit fly optimization algorithm(FOAGRNN) was proposed. It took the muzzle velocity reduction as performance degradation feature with the increase in the number of shooting ammunition quantity under various working conditions, based on the performance degradation experimental data of barrel. The forecasting results were basically consistent with experimental results, which proved the feasibility of the method.

There exist many kinds of electromagnetic interference sources in a small and enclosing underground coal mine work area, which could lead to that the instable phenomenon of the wireless monitoring and communication systems constantly occur. Focused on the randomness of occurrence and duration of electromagnetic interference and the diversity of interference frequency band in underground coal mines, a kind of anti-electromagnetic method based on full duplex(FD) cognitive radio was presented. In present work, the transmission parameters such as transmission power and carrier frequency at each communication node(CN) can be easily adjusted by detecting the surrounding electromagnetic environment at correspondent CNs. When the frequency band being used by CNs is disturbed, the communication task can be kept by switching to other available frequency bands. By doing this, the whole network can be reached the approximation of optimal communication status. The simulation results show that the present method can obtain higher network efficiency by effectively avoiding frequency bands that are subjected to electromagnetic interference or cause data transmission conflicts. Furthermore, the anti-interference ability and the spectrum utilization efficiency of wireless communication systems in underground coal mines are obviously improved.

Stock market data is extremely large and complicated. In stock prediction research, the selection of technical indicators has not a scientific theory as a guide. This paper proposes a novel method based on Grey Relational Analysis to select the technical indicators. Then make predictions by Support Vector Regression that optimized by improved fruit fly optimization algorithm. Firstly, the fruit fly optimization algorithm is improved by decreasing footstep and simulated annealing. Secondly, the improved fruit fly optimization algorithm is adopted to optimize the penalty factor c and the kernel function parameter g of the support vector regression. Finally, modeling and forecasting of the stock price with optimized support vector regression are conducted and some simulation experiments are carried out. The Support Vector Regression is adept at analyzing small size and multi-dimensional samples, so it is suitable for short-term stock prediction. By comparing with other three methods, the one this paper proposed could fast convergence and improve the accuracy of forecasting and is an efficient and feasible method.
