A Novel Current Predictive Control Based on fuzzy algorithm for PMSM

The fast and stable current inner loop in the permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control system is the key factor that ensures the torque control performance of the motor. The deadbeat model predictive control strategy can achieve fast dynamic response, but it depended on the accurate mathematical model of the motor. When the model parameter in the predictive controller has mismatched with real system, the static error or oscillations will occur in the steady state. Therefore, a novel current predictive control based on the fuzzy algorithm is proposed in this paper. The novel control strategy contained a predictive controller, a proportional-integral (PI) compensation link, a magnetic flux observer, and a fuzzy controller. According to the operation state of the motor and the model parameter mismatch of the controller, the fuzzy algorithm can adjust the effect of compensation link by weight coefficient in real time. The dynamic performance of the proposed method is guaranteed compared with the traditional deadbeat predictive current control based on the space vector pulsewidth modulation (SVPWM). When the model parameter mismatch of controller is occurred, the weight of the PI compensation link is enhanced, and the static error or oscillation of the motor system can be eliminated.

Under complex illumination conditions, photovoltaic cells in photovoltaic arrays will be occluded to varying degrees, and their overall output presents multi-peak characteristics. At this time, the traditional maximum power point tracking technology often falls into local maximum power point because it cannot achieve global judgment. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) can achieve global maximum power point search, but it's tracking speed and environmental adaptability is not ideal. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a MPPT method which combines improved PSO algorithm with fuzzy algorithm. This method improves the speed and environmental adaptability of the algorithm by improving the motion mode of the optimal particle in the PSO algorithm based on the use of the fuzzy algorithm. The simulation model is built in MATLAB, and the simulation results show the effectiveness of the method.

Improved routing in dynamic environments with moving obstacles using a hybrid fuzzy-Genetic algorithm

Routing, as one of the important problems in the field of robotics, is a complicated issue in real and dynamic environments. In this study, routing was simulated using Genetic algorithm and fuzzy logic. It was observed that the time consumed for reaching the destination in fuzzy logic was much less than the time spent in Genetic algorithm. Furthermore, the distance traveled by Genetic algorithm was less than the distance obtained from routing by fuzzy logic. Therefore, to determine the optimal path of motion, the hybrid fuzzy-Genetic method was used. In fuzzy logic, distance from the nearest obstacle and the angle difference with the target node were selected as the two node-to-node routing criteria. To reduce the traveled distance in the fuzzy method, the Genetic algorithm was used to optimally adjust the fuzzy rules table. In the simulation, the proposed method showed a relatively better performance than both mentioned algorithms in terms of distance and time. In the best case, the traveled distance from origin to destination in the hybrid fuzzy-Genetic method was reduced by 32% compared to fuzzy logic and the consumed time to reach the destination was reduced by 43% compared to Genetic algorithm. In order to meet the automatic assembly requirements of large-size and large-torque threaded connection workpieces such as oil pipes and ammunition, a fuzzy prediction model for thread tightening is established by selecting tightening torque and rotation angle as characteristic quantities, and a new automatic tightening control method for large-torque threads is proposed. At the same time, an automatic tightening device for large torque threaded workpieces is designed for experimental verification. It has been proved that the method can meet the functional requirements of automatic screwing of large torque threads, the screwing torque of threads can reach 2320 Nm, the screwing process is stable and reliable, and has great engineering application value.

A study on the speed control of a BLAC motor by feedforward compensation of the back-EMF using a fuzzy algorithm

Back electromotive force (back-EMF) feedforward compensation is used to improve the control performance of a brushless AC (BLAC) motor. The back-EMF has a speed component, and the response is slow when the back-EMF is compensated for by the speed. The back-EMF feedforward compensation does not operate exactly when the speed fluctuation is severe. To solve these problems, the back-EMF is compensated by the speed of the motor operation, which is calculated by the proposed method. The speed and the delta speed are the input membership functions of the fuzzy system. The weighting used to estimate the speed is defined as the output membership function of the fuzzy system. The speed is estimated exactly using 15 rules of the fuzzy system, and the back-EMF feedforward compensation operates using the estimated speed. The membership function and the fuzzy rules are adjusted using simulation. The root-mean-square (RMS) value of the error between the real speed and the reference speed is measured. It is confirmed that the performance is excellent when the back-EMF is compensated by the speed, which is estimated by the proposed algorithm. (c) 2018 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. In this paper, a method of solving inverse kinematics based on fuzzy algorithm for hybrid boarding system is presented. This approach could actively compensate the ocean wave disturbances when the hybrid mechanism is conducting a certain task, such as, transporting the repairmen into wind turbine platform. By deriving the Jacobian matrix of the hybrid mechanism, the relationship between the angular and linear velocities of variables in joint space and gangway's end-effector in task-space can be obtained. Thereafter, the numerical integral method is used to obtain the inverse kinematic solution. Structurally, the hybrid mechanism consists of a 6-DOFs Stewart parallel platform and a 3-DOFs gangway. Due to the kinematical redundant of the hybrid boarding system, its inverse kinematic solutions are not unique. So a fuzzy strategy is put forward to plan the variable values reasonably. Moreover, it can satisfy the requirement of variable constraints. When conducting ocean wave compensation, specifically, the Stewart parallel platform is used to compensate the wave disturbance in roll direction. Moreover, it is efficient to compensate other disturbances by adjusting the joint angles of gangway. The effectiveness and the robustness of the proposed method is demonstrated using numerical simulation when the wave disturbance is added into the hybrid boarding system.

The amount of solar energy could be acquired optimally by proper tracking of sun movement in a sun tracker. A sun tracker is a device which tracks the sun as it moves on its path through the sky during the day, exposing the solar cells to an increased amount of sunlight and hence producing more electricity. In this paper, we compare the performance and optimization of two types of sun tracker based on tetrahedron geometry using PID and fuzzy logic algorithm. These two sun trackers are built identically and experimental data acquisition of servo movement and load of solar cell performed side by side. PID and fuzzy logic algorithm are used to control the servo movement of the dual-axis sun tracker. We record the load received by solar cell which attached to both sun tracker and compare the result. The study shows that fuzzy logic algorithm controller performs better than PID controller which can be seen from the amount of load received by solar cell.
