We survey major developments and applications of fuzzy dynamic programming which is here advocated as a promising attempt at making dynamicprogramming models more realistic by a relaxation of often artificial assumptions of precision as to the constraints, goals, states and their transitions, termination time, etc. Issues related to numerical efficiency are considered. The fuzzy medical diagnosis decision models of Esogbue and Elder employed fuzzy sets theory to directly and more correctly model all the information nets useful in reaching a scientific understanding of a patient's health status. This knowledge was utilized in constructing a sensible medical hypothesis decision problem. In this paper, we show how fuzzy dynamic programming and neural networks can be used to extend the process to other phases by linking the four stages of medical hypothesis, physician's observation, preliminary diagnosis, and final diagnosis in an adroit manner. In this work, a new method for identifying the optimal route of electric vehicles based on a hybrid model is offered. A combination of analytical hierarchical method and fuzzy dynamic programming was used to create the hybrid model. The model designed in this manner allows each user of an electric vehicle to decide the ideal route based on their needs. The case study was created using actual data from the city of Nis. The scenarios for two electric vehicle users for the schedule of charging stations and routes for the city of Nis with predefined values of travel time, charging time, and the attractiveness of the location are analyzed. Based on the acquired findings, all of the suggested model's advantages can be seen, which are principally reflected in bringing electric vehicle users to the forefront, i.e., harmonizing electric vehicle users' needs on the one hand and travel length and charging time at charging stations on the other.

Many real-world problems involve sequential or multistage decision making. dynamicprogramming (DP) is a powerful optimization technique that is particularly applicable to many complex problems requiring a sequence of interrelated decisions. A new methodology, multiobjective dynamicprogramming (MODP), which relies heavily on conventional dynamicprogramming, is developed as a technique for solving problems that involve conflicting objectives that obey DP characteristics. In the past two decades, a major development of multiobjective dynamic optimization has been made. MODP, one of the most provocative topics within the broader subject. A natural extension of DP is its use in conjumction with fuzzy sets. This involves the perturbation of its components in a manner that admits of systematic fuzzification. fuzzy dynamic programming (FDP) represents an advance on the Theory of DP.
