Owing to the increasing applications of electronic systems in radiation environments such as medical radiation therapy, non-destructive testing, milling, nuclear power plant control etc., and their failures can have significant impact to the surrounding and human, their reliabilities under radiation are of crucial importance. While radiation effects on individual electronic components are well studied, the reliability of entire electronic systems in radiation environments is less understood due to the difficulty of identifying dominant failure mechanisms or failed components in a complex electronic system. This is because radiation damages on electronic components generally do not have obvious sign for identification, and desoldering every component for detailed analysis is impractical. In this work, we developed a method combining reliability statistics with the physics of failure to classify and identify failure mechanisms. Detailed failure analysis confirmed the accuracy of the method. This study focuses on a gps tracking system for vehicles carrying radiation sources. Identifying failure modules within the system allows the determination of reliability functions of gps with respect to each failure module, facilitating the selection of appropriate gps systems and predicting optimal replacement times to ensure continuous vehicle monitoring. This method also allows electronic system designers to select reliable modules to assure high system reliability.

Booming development in cellular networks provides faster and seamless services to mobile user. Mobility management is an important issue in the area of mobile communication. Within the cellular networks, movement track of mobile station (MS) is provided by the location management. Location of mobile station has great attention and has potential for application and services to improve both location-based services and cellular network performance. So, several researchers are worked to develop methods and algorithms which increase the positioning accuracy and execution time [2][3][41[5][61. In GSM network, MS has to activate the gps mobile app to find the location of MS while it is traveling. But using this app, the network can find only the location of BS under which the MS currently resides. This paper discusses a new terminology which is used to know the exact location of a MS while it is moving. During a call, while a MS is travelling from one cell to another;this proposed network system can predict the next location of MS. This efficient location prediction leads to optimize the handoff delay and paging operation.

In an effort to increase the functional dependence for the visually impaired people, have identified the disadvantages and drawbacks in the present existing solutions and have tried to include the loopholes in the existing systems. Identified and addressed the problems like: object recognition, identification of packaged goods, identification of currency coins and notes, ability to read texts recognize people and faces. This paper provides complete support to the visually impaired friends. The idea of this paper is an augmented reality wearable spectacle along with a wearable smart vision band on the wrist. The Spectacles are equipped with camera, earphones, gps module and Internet connection (Wi-Fi &4G). The wearable smart vision system contains ultrasonic sensors, IR sensors to recognize the objects that are present before/behind the visually impaired person and can alert using a vibration. The Spectacles and the band are connected using Bluetooth. The outcome of the assistive device should be in the form of audible signal received using the earphones, that can be clearly usable for a visually impaired friend. Everyone is entitled to live the way they want and to feel happy, but there is a lot of verbal abuse and aggression that people face which is a huge challenge to everyone. It is a general urge to tell our close ones about our current position in emergencies and warn them about the fact that we expect danger. In the event of sudden abduction or sudden illness in an uncertain place, we can feel powerless. A way is therefore built to save lives from possible dangerous circumstances in which a person is at risk of being abducted, robbed, or raped. In the model, two voice inputs are detected-"Danger" and "Help" and also a switch button input is taken. As the voice recognition model is trained that way, the device can only recognize the user's voice. It sends the text to the police and parents for the "Danger" word input or push-button input. It also sends the location to the parents for the "Help" word. On the other hand, when the pulse rate is not within a certain range, the hospital and relatives are informed. The trained words, mobile numbers, BPM range used can be modified according to the user's preference. The model is designed to send SMS containing latitude and longitude which can be used to find the exact position on Google Maps. Using our model, individuals can make their lives free of fear as it will serve as a supporting hand in crisis situations.

Control strategies for energy enhancement of discontinuous gps tracking PV system under varying weather conditions

Energy harvesting systems have been piloted in this experimental paper. The proposed system uses ten-watt solar panel for static base photovoltaic (PV) and a two-orientation sun follower system. Application of gps (global positioning system) in sun following arrangement ensures the best potential output power from solar radiation. By tracing the sun's trajectory across the sky over the course of the day, the gps-based two-orientation sun following system has been able to record maximum sunlight intensity from 6:00 to 18:30 solar time. The two-axis sun follower system with gps has a higher engrossed power than the light-dependent resister (LDR). Two-axis gps, LDR tracker and the static base panel produce the average energy of 146.7 Wh, 82.45 Wh and 42.79 Wh on a sunny, hazy and rainy day, respectively. The solar panel used here is flexible, which uses 15. of step tracking to reduce system power consumption. The experimented result of 2021 states that the average amount of energy produced by the two-axis-gps sun following system was 4.021754Wh/day, which is 45.85% and 14.93% more than the average amount of energy produced by the static base and LDR base PV system, respectively. This novelty emphasizes system with minimum power consumption to generate maximum power. Here, the gps will provide the extreme accurate trajectory of sun path. The flexible panel with lightweight reduces power consumption of tracker. And finally the 15. or discontinuous tracking reduces the power consumption as used in continuous tracking.

Motion planning for a landmine-detection robot

This article describes a landmine-detection system that contains a landmine-detection mobile robot and a following mobile robot. In this system, the landmine-detection robot goes ahead, and uses a landmine detector and a gps module to find a landmine, records the coordinates of its location, and transmits these coordinates to the following mobile robot via a wireless RF interface. The following robot can record the location and orientation of the landmine-detection robot and all the landmines in the region. The following robot moves close to the landmine, and programs a path to avoid obstacles and landmines automatically. The driving system of the landmine-detection mobile robot uses a microprocessor dsPIC 30F4011 as the core, and controls two DC servomotors to program the motion path. The user interface of the landmine-detection robot and the following robot uses Borland C++ Builder language to receive the location data. In the experimental results, the landmine-detection robot records the location of landmines using a gps module, and transmits the locations to the following robot via a wireless RF interface. The following robot avoids the landmines, and improves the safety of people or materials being carried through the landmine area.

The economy of developing country like India depends on livestock because it provides livelihood for majority people in the rural communal. Even though India has the world's highest livestock, it is not utilized properly due to lack of appropriate monitoring. Usually cattle move around the wide spread farms and hence differentiating each cattle may be difficult due to their indistinguishable appearance. Identification of individual cattle is mandatory for various reasons like to manage breeding process, to monitor draining status, to restrict dispersion of ailments etc. Here in this paper, we propose a novel cattle Monitoring using LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network). LoRaWAN techniques assure wireless radio frequency with long range and low power wireless platform. Cattle monitoring is one of the major applications of LoRa device as it supports not only to identify the strayed animal, but also monitors animal's vital condition. Initially LoRa based device is attached to the cattle's collar and hence its acts as a node. The distinct nodes can transmit their location coordinates with the support of gps(Global Positioning System). Temperature and humidity sensors are attached to the transmitter node to monitor the environmental condition of cattle and an alert message will be send to the concerned person if there is any deviation from expected readings. In the receiver side, the collected data will be shared to IoT dashboard using Raspberry Pi module. Hence the farm owner can monitor the cattle even from remote place. The prototype of proposed system is established and verified the real time performance as well.
