Evolution of technology has always been endeavored with making daily life simple. With a fast paced life everybody today is harnessing the benefits of technology except some parts of the society. One of them is the visually impaired who have to rely on others for travelling and other activities. This paper aims at providing one such theoretical model which incorporates the latest technologies to provide efficient and smart electronic aid to the blind. We have used IR sensors along with ultrasonic range finder circuit for hurdle detection. Bluetooth module which along with gps technology and an Android application for blind, will provide voice assistance to desired location and in panic situations will send SMS alert to registered mobile numbers The basic objective of the system is to provide a convenient and easy navigation aid for unsighted which helps in artificial vision by providing information about the environmental scenario of static and dynamic objects around them.

With the science development, human longevity becomes longer, but it brings about an aging population for this reason. Thus, it is extremely important to nurse and care for the aged. When the aged go out without the companion of their children, they may have no way to call for help, if there is any fortuitous event. In this situation, it is urgent to have a kind of product, which can inform children of the aged in time about the current location information of the aged and physical conditions. In the paper, a solution of an elderly tracker (hereinafter referred to as the terminal) is introduced to acquire the current location information of the aged through GSM/GPRS functional module SIM900 and gps functional module SIM28. Moreover, SOS key is set up to inform their children by dialing an emergency call. BP neural network algorithm is applied to analyze a frequented place of the aged by using the cloud server and to remind them by playing the warning beep at the accident prone location. In addition, the frequented location information of the aged can be provided for elderly service agencies, so as to help these agencies to provide service quality. The solution proposed in the paper had the biggest drifting for 5m by testing actually. Average consumption is about 2.8mA and it is enough to satisfy application demands.

Nowadays every woman is working and they strive hard for their growth of their family and society. On the same side, the crime against women is increasing day by day in all aspects and the world is becoming vulnerable for women to survive. Not only women, but girl children also face the same crises, they are not feeling safe due to increasing crimes;there is a feeling of insecurity amongst the women, girl children, and their family members. Hence, by analyzing through various views of women's insecurity we concluded with a proposed solution for resolving this issue with the help of BANDGUARD - women safety system that has a dual security feature based on gps. This paper explains, it is a system which has dual alerts in case a woman or girl child is harassed, kidnapped by someone, or she thinks she is in trouble. This band guard is a hairband that is used by all the women and girl children in their day-to-day life, in which a gps tracker is being placed with the inbuilt SOS Panic button with power source inbuilt battery with a waterproof coating material. The gps tracker with SOS Panic button, which is used to send alert messages and to share the users location that is women or girl children, which will be sent to their family or friends. So that their parents will be tracking the location of the children without the feeling of insecurity and this can be located with the help of Google Maps by gps tracking methodology. The main purpose of this device BANDGUARD is to inform the parents or friends or guardians about the current location of the women or girl children when they are in insecure situation or in danger.

In recent years, acts of assault and violence against women are rising at a menacing rate. With escalation of female employees in industries and other sectors of the commercial market, it is now becoming a necessity for females to travel at late hours and visit distant and isolated locations as a part of their work regime. However, the exponential increase in assault, violence and attacks against women in the past few years, is posing a threat to the growth and development of women. Defense isn't the only measure that can suffice against this increasing abuse. A security solution that creates a sense of safety among women needs to be devised. In instances of attack, it is largely reported that women are immobilized. There is thus, a need of simpler safety solution that can be activated as simply as by pressing a switch and can instantly send out alerts to the near ones of the victim. In this paper we intend to design and implement such a system in the form of a partial wearable and partial portable system.

This paper presents the development of a mobile robot used in farms for identification of diseased plants. It puts forth two of the major aspects of robotics namely automated navigation and image processing. The robot navigates on the basis of the gps (Global Positioning System) location and data obtained from IR (Infrared) sensors to avoid any obstacles in its path. It uses an image processing algorithm to differentiate between diseased and non-diseased plants. A robotic platform consisting of an ARM9 processor, motor drivers, robot mechanical assembly, camera and infrared sensors has been used. Mini2440 microcontroller has been used wherein Embedded linux OS (Operating System) is implemented.

In order to go on a journey conveniently, the STC89C52 SCM is used, one kind of gps user terminal is designed, it including GM-89 gps module, communications and transformation connection, control processing electric circuit, display circuit, RS232 exterior serial communication connection and so on. The related hardware welding on the PCB, the software programming after-burning writes in the SCM, inserts the TFT colored tablet (or 12864 liquid crystals) and outside sets at the type gps antenna. On the electricity, demonstrated the longitude, latitude, time and altitude above sea level and so on information, after access the internet to consult the local latitude and longitude information to carry on compared to rightly, the result is correct, indicated that has achieved the design requirements.

The Internet has become an integral part of human life in such a way, that most of the applications become helpless without internet. To make most use of this, this paper proposes a smart unlocking mechanism for doors of high security importance. This is made possible by employing IoT Technology, which not only controls, but also effectively monitors electrical and mechanical system. In this method, the doors are operated using mobile app, even at remote places. A hardware prototype has been developed and tested by integrating Special Electrical Machines, PIC Controller and gps module. The results seem to be satisfactory, by providing a smart and secure way of door control.

In the fast-moving world, we live in, every piece of electronics in our lives already has a smarter counterpart. Vehicles are no exception to this pattern and in the previous 10 years, they have gotten more intelligent than their drivers have, and as a rule - became more secure and progressively cost-efficient. In our research, we designed a cost-effective Arduino based smart monitoring system and vehicle tracking system that will be making our life easier, and secure. Here we implemented a system that includes an automatic temperature based fan speed control system, coolant/water level detection, engine oil level detection, engine temperature detection. We designed the monitoring system using Arduino Uno and Arduino touch screen display for real-time monitoring. This system will show coolant/water level, engine oil level, engine temperature, fan speed in percentage scale, tachometer reading in RPM of vehicles, will be fitted in front of the driver. A low-cost vehicle tracking system is implemented for tracking vehicles at any time. We also designed a smartphone application by using MIT app inventor for showing vehicle location on a map. The entire system has been tested and the result has been included. We get satisfactory performance from the test result. Finally, a cost comparison between the price of our entire system and the price of the recent market has been attached. The price of the smart transport system that we approached is lower than the market price. Business modeling of the proposed system is also included.

This research proposed a web-based monitoring system that can help to view heart beat rate of a person while tracking his locations in real time. By using Heart Pulse Sensor and gps module connected to Arduino Microcontroller, the system collects data and transmits them to a remote server. We use GSM/GPRS module as the network unity to send collected data over Internet. A supervisor through a web page, monitors heart beat rate and view locations on Google Map. The system can help to resolve health emergencies. In this way, it simultaneously improves the quality of care through constant attention.

The core of this paper is an explicit, complete design and implementation of a custom prototyping embedded system PCB capable of multipoint temperature measurement, hazard detection and other functionalities given by the possibility of attaching additional hardware. The additional hardware are modular printed circuit boards (PCB) that are stackable onto the main prototype PCB in order to increase its functionality. In this way, a gps and GSM board module together with a relay controlled speaker are connected to the prototype system. They are used to transform the in-car multipoint temperature measuring system into an IoT device accessible everywhere, capable of detecting movement, temperatures, fire and generate alarms in a hazard situation. It is designed to be used in automotive industry but also in home or industry automatization. Thanks to a reduced complexity and having a simple interface, people which are new to electronics and programming can use this prototype to put their own ideas in practice fast and easy. The embedded system is developed on an ATmega 2560 microcontroller and the temperature detection is achieved using AMG8834 sensor which has a two dimensional area with 8x8 (64) infrared pixels providing 64 individual temperature readings. The experimental results were obtained by developing the module and using it to monitor an environment through GSM connection
