We present a novel project involving an Arduino Uno-powered blind assist device that integrates an ultrasonic sensor and a gps module. The ultrasonic sensor offers comprehensive obstacle detection, ensuring a full range of environmental awareness. Complementing this, the gps module provides real-time navigation, enhancing user mobility. The detected obstacles prompt the JQ6500 voice sound module to generate audio instructions through a speaker module, guiding users to move or halt appropriately. This innovative setup empowers the visually impaired to navigate their surroundings confidently by receiving timely and precise guidance via real-time path view instructions. This device promotes independent and safe travel through the help of ultrasonic sensing, gps navigation, and audio cues, granting users a newfound sense of freedom. © 2023 IEEE.

Efficient and timely accident detection systems are imperative due to the rising global incidence of road accidents. Conventional approaches rely on eyewitness reports or calls to emergency services, leading to delayed responses and inaccurate information. The critical period immediately following a traumatic injury, often referred to as the 'golden hour,' underscores the importance of swift medical attention, with the highest likelihood of saving a patient's life within the first 60 minutes. Beyond this timeframe, mortality rates significantly rise. Presently, the delays in notifying local hospitals contribute to increased mortality rates. Hence, the primary objective of the project is to mitigate these adverse outcomes and eliminate delays in conveying information to nearby hospitals. Upon project implementation, the accident site will be promptly communicated to the hospitals. Currently, individuals at the scene of an accident are not required to notify hospitals, leading to potential delays. The proposed model integrates an Arduino UNO microcontroller, gps, GSM module, and a buzzer. The gps determines the accident's coordinates, while the GSM module sends SMS notifications, including accident type and location via Google Maps. A MEMS accelerometer sensor detects the accident occurrence. This system ensures that not only hospitals but also the victim's family is promptly informed, potentially saving crucial minutes that can make a difference in saving a life. © 2023 IEEE.

The number of vehicular accidents has increased significantly in comparison to previous time periods. An estimated seventeen crashes occur every hour. Bicycle accidents account for a sizable proportion of all accident incidences. This is due to the fact that two-wheeled vehicles lack a number of safety measures seen on automobiles and tractors. This paper outlines the methods for disaster mitigation through the creation of an effective system that quickly identifies and alerts the appropriate authorities and individuals. The accelerometer assesses potential accidents by measuring head tilt. Vibration sensors are capable of detecting collisions and sending out timely warnings about potential hazards. When the engine is turned off, the MQ3 monitor sends a text message to the rider's mobile device. The failure to wear a helmet significantly increases the risk of brain injury during an accident. Within the constraints of this unique situation, the use of a helmet may help to reduce the severity of head injuries. The quick installation of a level monitor has the potential to drastically prevent gas theft. The gasoline theft detection sensor is located at the fuel tank's aperture. The speed-regulating system functions as an independent turbine. The emission of an aural signal, also referred to as an "overspeed beep," serves to notify the operator when they have exceeded a predetermined velocity threshold. The spinning of the turbine motor indicates the speed of the bicycle. Incidents have occurred as a result of the presence of an unusually large number of people. The installation of a load cell sensor may be considered to reduce the risk of vehicle overload. Data on distances, velocities, fuel consumption, and miles were collected and saved using the Internet of Things (IoT). © 2023 IEEE.

There is no denying that public transportation is and will continue to be a part of a commuter's daily life as it serves as a quick and easy way to reach their destinations. However, it holds its own disadvantages, such as unpredictable arrival times, poor comfort and safety, and disorganized queues. Research shows that in Metro Manila, Jeepneys are the second most used public transportation, making up 19.1% of all journeys. Additionally, 7,000 out of 150,000 jeepneys are electric or contemporary models. To eliminate challenges faced by the current transportation system, this research paper was proposed to develop a real-time gps tracking and ETA system, and an Android App to access data for E-Jeeps in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Tests were conducted and results show that the gps tracking system generated a percentage error of 0.0017%, making the system accurate and reliable. Whereas the ETA system resulted in an average delay of 1 minute and 35 seconds for all trials. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we proposes a GSM based non-invasive wearable physiological parameters monitoring system. The system can be used to monitor parameters such as temperature and heart rate of a human subject. This system is worn on the waist by an at-risk person. The person is monitored using several sensors and data is sent wirelessly. The device detects if a person is medically distressed and sends message to the hospital, ambulance and relatives. An alarm is set, which helps the user to alert the people around. This intelligent e-belt is helpful for physically challenged and elderly people and also reliable and accurate. © 2014 IEEE.
