Objective: To study the Parkinson's disease System for Chinese Medicine Diagnosis Based on Database. Method: we will screen the Diagnosis factor and kinds of syndromes by using of modern mathematical or statistical methods and establish the respective database on the basis of the Modern Literature Research of the syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine of PD. The system is under the guidance of the theory of TCM. Result: According to the 52 literatures that are statisticed There are 190 kinds of syndromes and 42 kinds of different syndromes. The most common syndromes of TCM about Parkinson's Disease are yin deficiency of liver and kidney, deficiency of qi and blood, stirring wind due to phlegm-heat, qi stagnation and blooad stasis and endogenous wind As the symptom analysis results, we can see that There are 151 kinds of different symptoms in the 52 literatures. Trembling, dyskinesia, pose abnormality, myolony are four main symptoms which appears most frequently. Except that, (Eliminates tongue, pulse condition) the frequency precedes mainly has dizziness. lack of power with limbs, insomnia and dreaminess. numbness of limbs. dim complexion, stupid vitality, anorexia, soreness and weakness of waist and knees. dry stool. tired spirit, spontaneous perspiration;red tongue, pale tongue, while musci, greasy fir are the most frequently tough images, while microsphygmy. wiry pulse, feeble pulse are the most prequently pulses. There are 96 kinds of symptoms to inquiry;40 to inspection and 15 to Pulse-Taking and Palpation in all of the symploms. It will develop the minimum standards of diagnosis of syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine for PD, which its features is under the guidance of the theory of, TCM and emboding syndromes Differetiation of TCM theory, so that the syndromes Differetiation of Traditional Chinese Medicine have accomplished intelligence. Information technologies (IT) have exerted a remarkable influence on college education, which is greatly aided by Internet and information system. Although the traditional instructional model is propitious toward a solid basic knowledge for students, it is unpropitious for better learner autonomy and innovation. Currently, there is wide incompatibility between the teaching of college public IT and the development of information society, hence some urgent change is required Under the guidance of teachers, with an optimized environment and improved learner autonomy, students should not only master the knowledge and skills of IT, but also foster the ability of autonomous learning and better innovation. In order to achieve this aim, this paper endeavors to put forward a corresponding precept and an Internet-based aided learning system for the teaching of college public IT.

Although methodologists have long recognized that randomized trials provide stronger evidence than nonrandom-ized observational studies, for management decisions in which randomized trials are unavailable, clinicians and guideline developers must still rely on observational studies. Indeed, for a great'many questions of clinical importance, observational studies constitute the best available evidence. In these situations, clinicians, guideline developers, and decision makers rightly expect guidance from methodologists in the use and interpretation of those studies and their integration into guideline recommendations#

The blended learning can be defined as integration between the traditional training and E-learning. In a context where the student is at the centre of the training process, the tools used to bring the knowledge and professional competence must be most appropriate for every kind of learning path. The mere summation of both traditional and up-to-date approaches however is not sufficient to face with the compelling demand of continuous learning that today's society asks for. This is the reason why E-learning platforms need to be revised in the view of new emerging technologies. In this framework our aim is to present the guidance E-learning platform developed within the project called "Ariann@" and activated at the Polytechnic of Bari. This platform has been designed to meet the needs of effective guidance actions for prospective, current and graduate students providing support by means of a web 2.0 enhanced interactive learning environment.

The aim of the study was to identify and describe spouses'/cohabitants' experiences of living with a partner with bipolar affective disorder over time. Qualitative research interviews were conducted with eight spouses/cohabitants. Transcribed interviews were analysed structurally based on Ricoeur's phenomenological hermeneutics as described by Lindseth and Norberg. The participants' shared lives ranged from 6 to 51 years, and the study found three major aspects that characterized their experience along this time-dimension;experience formed part of a cumulative process containing up to 14 experiences. Each experience created a preunderstanding that affected how subsequent experiences were perceived, and mastered. These three major aspects had a reciprocal influence on the following 14 experiences over time: Fear and the incomprehensible. Accusations. Self-doubt and doubt about own powers of judgement. Care and information vs. being overlooked or turned away by health personnel. Stigmatization and loss of social network. Uncertainty, powerlessness and hope. Loneliness. Anger and despair. The persistent threat. Own health problems. Grief over loss. Dawning acceptance. Reconciliation. New hope. A theoretical understanding using gestalt therapy theory suggests that burdensome experience can be seen as an inner imbalance in the spouse/cohabitant when she/he cannot find meaning in their experiences. When only parts of the whole are perceived, an incomplete gestalt is formed in the person's lived-experience that counteracts the equilibrium of the organism. Insight and meaning can protect them against burdensome experiences and nurses can empower them through care, health-promoting education and guidance. Nursing research should develop methods of education and guidance sensitive enough to help each spouse/cohabitant, regardless of where they are in their cumulative process.

This paper reports the synthesis of three case studies of students' engagement in inquiry-based learning activities in an upper-level undergraduate geology course. Details of how students engaged in scientific questions, gave priority to evidence, formulated explanations, evaluated explanations, and communicated and justified their findings are presented. Data for this study included classroom observations and fieldnotes of classroom practices, questionnaires, archival data (e.g., student work samples), and audiotapes and transcripts of interviews conducted with the student participants throughout the course. The findings suggest that although these students were able to successfully appropriate inquiry practices (e.g., giving priority to evidence), it was not without its challenges (e.g., perceived lack of guidance). A detailed discussion of the ways in which students were successful, and where they had challenges engaging in inquiry is presented, with the goal of helping direct practitioners and researchers to strategies whereby students' inquiry experiences can be improved.

The primary aim of this study, funded by the Department for Education and Skills, was to identify the nature and influence of school-based factors in the choices of young people about their post-16 education, training and career pathways. The study also contributes to the wider understanding of 'choice', and identifies implications for the development of careers education and guidance and decision-making awareness amongst pupils and students in schools. It also further enhances the modelling of pupil decision making in education and training markets, and in labour markets. The research is based on a series of qualitative interviews in 24 schools across nine local education authorities. Focus groups were undertaken with young people in years 10, 11 and 12. Interviews were also conducted with head teachers, heads of year and heads of careers. A postal survey of parents was also undertaken. Four key school-based factors were found to have a very strong influence in the choices and decisions of young people about their post-16 education, training and career pathways. These were: whether the school had a sixth form or not;the characteristics of school leadership, ethos and values;the socio-economic status (SES) of the schools' catchment;and the organisation and delivery of careers education and guidance at the school level. In the main, high SES schools see themselves as developing pupils for academic university careers, while low SES schools maintain a rather stronger commitment to vocational pathways. The academic ethos of schools offers a very powerful influence on post-16 choices and decisions of pupils. The usual interventions put in place to influence choices and decisions appear to have greater impact in schools with a less robust academic vision.

The ENABLE project, which is partly funded by the European Commission, aims to assist elderly people to live well, independently and at case. In this project a wrist unit with both integrated and external sensors, and with a radio frequency link to a mobile phone. will be developed. ENABLE will provide a number of services for elderly people. among them also a remote control service for the home environment. This paper briefly describes the project in general and then focuses on the initial user needs investigation which was carried Out in early 2007 in six different European countries. The provisional findings are discussed and an outlook on the ongoing and future project work is given. A special focus of this paper is on the environmental control service.
