Time, cost and quality are important objectives of each project, which project managers are always looking for completion of them in the shortest possible time, with the lowest cost and highest quality to be succeeded in the projects. One of the main challenges in this case is choosing the right approach to achieve these objectives. In this regard, the most commonly used approach is the use of balancing method. Indeed, using this method can be the most optimal mode of project implementation activities that the lowest and highest quality at the lowest cost, time has obtained. In this paper, a goal programming model is developed to find suitable solutions to manage the cost, time and quality of the project. In order to examine the developed model, a case study has been accomplished in the project implemented by Arak Machine Sazi Company. Computational results show the applicability of the model and the efficiency of proposed method.

The multi-resource generalized assignment problem (MRGAP) is the assignment of jobs to agents under capacity constraints to minimize the total assignment. In this problem, each agent has multiple resources, each job is assigned to only one agent, and multiple jobs can be assigned to one agent. In the MRGAP problem, it is essential to distribute the loads in balance to the agents. In the literature, for balancing agent loads, bottleneck MRGAP with the aim of minimizing the maximum agent load, and balanced assignment MRGAP models with the aim of minimizing the difference between the maximum agent load and the minimum agent load have been proposed. In this study, the sum of load squares model has been adapted for MRGAP, as well as a new goal programming MRGAP model and a matheuristic algorithm for the solution of this model are developed. The performances of the proposed model and the algorithm were compared with the models taken from the literature by using randomly derived test problems. The quality of the obtained solutions is determined by considering the maximum load, coefficient of variation and total load criteria. The test results are evaluated in terms of these three criteria. The results obtained revealed the success of the proposed goal programming model and the matheuristic algorithm.

We develop neutrosophic goal programming models for sustainable resource planning in a healthcare organization. The neutrosophic approach can help examine the imprecise aspiration levels of resources. For deneutrosophication, the neutrosophic value is transformed into three intervals based on the truth, falsity, and indeterminacy-membership functions. Then, a crisp value is derived. Moreover, multi-choice goal programming is also used to get a crisp value. The proposed models seek to draw a strategic plan and long-term vision for a healthcare organization. Accordingly, the specific aims of the proposed flexible models are meant to evaluate hospital service performance and to establish an optimal plan to meet the growing patient needs. As a result, sustainability's economic and social goals will be achieved so that the total cost would be optimized, patients' waiting time would be reduced, high-quality services would be offered, and appropriate medical drugs would be provided. The simplicity and feasibility of the proposed models are validated using real data collected from the Al-Amal Center for Oncology, Aden, Yemen. The results obtained indicate the robustness of the proposed models, which would be valuable for planners who could guide healthcare staff in providing the necessary resources for optimal annual planning.

Successful treatment of diseases depends on many important factors: correct diagnosis, choice and type of equipment, and the risk of infectious diseases. It is crucial to take into these factors, in particular, the risk of infection and the costs of equipment in catheter selection for invasive interventions in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). Catheters have different lifetime, therefore, the length of stay (LOS) is important for catheter selection. Random changes in patient's LOS make catheter selection a difficult problem. In this study, catheters designed for newborns in NICUs within the scope of invasive procedures have been optimized with multi-objective mathematical modeling method. Maximization of catheter additional lifetime, minimization of infection, and total cost have been provided by considering the actual data obtained from neonatal intensive care unit of large hospital in modeling.

In this paper, a fish farm was modeled using the Lexicographic linear goal programming approach due to incommensurability in objectives. The study considered the fish farming plan with two sizes of catfish from stocking to harvesting at four-month intervals. The multi-objective goals developed are required raw materials feed, water, light (resource utilization), sales revenue, profit realized, labor utilization, production costs, and pond utilization. The developed model was tested using related data collected from the farm records with the use of TORA 2007 software. The compromised solution from the results showed that the developed model is an efficient tool for decision-making process in the fish farm business organization.
