As the time being, Technology is growing at a faster rate. Improvement in Technology makes the lives simple, everyone wants to live individually using the technology. However, this is deceptive for physically challenged persons. Majority of people with disabilities having trouble moving various body parts. The only solution is to depend on their family and friends to complete their day to day works. Even for moving from one place to other place the persons must use a wheelchair. For moving the wheelchair, the person should have enough strength in hands or requires other person to assist the wheelchair. The persons having disability are less communicating with the outside world which make them week and reluctant. The proposed machine is a wheelchair-manipulated gadget to help disabled human beings to turn out to be unbiased. The device uses a voice recognition unit which will take human voice as command and control the wheelchair movement based on the command. The device integrates Arduino, hc-05 bluetooth module, speech-to-text voice recognition android utility, and motor driver through which the customers can perform the wheelchair with the aid of absolutely speaking to the wheelchair microphone. The wheelchair is designed at low cost in such a way that needy users will benefit from the machine.

This paper focuses on the hardware platform construction and the mobile terminal software design of the toxic gas detection robot. It is mainly composed of infrared control remote control module, LCD display module and mobile terminal. In the software development and design, the master program is written using Keil, and the signals are measured and monitored through a modular and top-down design. When the MQ-7 carbon monoxide sensor detects an abnormal carbon monoxide signal within a certain period of time, the system transmits the signal to the MCU after processing the signal through the AD0832-centered AD converter. Finally, the carbon monoxide concentration is displayed by the liquid crystal. An alarm is issued immediately when the concentration exceeds the limit, and the data is uploaded to the mobile monitor via the hc-05 bluetooth module.

This system uses temperature sensor DS18B20, bluetooth module hc-05, microcontroller STM32f103ZET6, LCD display with 8080 port, RTC clock and alarm circuit to achieve portable temperature measurement rapidly. It can accurately measure the temperature and the deviation is kept within 0.5 degrees. The collected temperature data and the current time are displayed on the display screen. Send the collected temperature data at regular time and receive by APP mobile phone. When users want to get temperature data remotely on their phones, press the send button on the touch screen, press the up button and send the "wendu#" command to the cell phone APP to get the temperature data collected. When the temperature is over 37ffiC, the four LED lights will always be on and LCD will show "Temperature is too high, please pay attention!" This design can not only realize the function of temperature measurement simply, but also optimize the display interface, modify the system time on the display interface to achieve the humanized function, which is convenient for daily portable use.

An artificially intelligent wheelchair controlled by voice has been presented in this paper. A smartphone is used as an interface for implementing and automating the voice recognition process by the movement control system. The presented voice-controlled gadget is well suited for some disabled people who are unable to employ the customary joystick-operated wheelchair. The Arduino utilizes DC motors and the microcontroller circuit for supervising the wheelchair's movement. The voice of the patient that controls the movement of the chair is recognized using graphical commands. The key attribute of this graphical commands control method is that it enables the handicapped patient to steer the wheelchair with a varying speed much the same as a standard joystick. This voice-controlled artificial intelligent wheelchair has shown good results when tried out on actual patients and also has low-performance costs.

Design and implementation of a low-cost hand gesture controlled automated wheelchair-using Arduino based microcontroller and Node MCU is presented in this paper. The main focus of this study is to control the wheelchair with the movement of the hand-wrist movement. Besides hand gestures, the wheelchair can also be controlled via bluetooth technology. If any problem occurs during the hand gesture control, bluetooth technology can help to control the wheelchair through assisting person. The design also has some additional features such as tracking the location of the wheelchair through GPS from anywhere of the world and emergency switching system to send messages to the assisting person through sensor-based network. Arduino Mega, Arduino Nano, NODE MCU, MPU 6050 Gyro sensor, Sonar Sensor, GPS module, GSM module, hc-05 bluetooth module, nRF Transceiver, and relay-based H-Bridge Motor Driver Circuits are used to design the wheelchair prototype. The designed wheelchair is comparatively simpler in a sense that if any person can able to move their wrist only, then he/she can operate the wheelchair. Some other types of wheelchair designs were proposed in literature which contains complex computing system along with processing biological signals such as EEG, EMG, and EOG etc. The good recording of these bio-signals is quite challenging for very elderly/movement disabled subjects and complex signal processing along with bulky computing systems are required to operate such types of wheelchair. In the proposed design, the hand gesture control system is designed such that it overcomes the necessity of extra sensors and complicated biological signal processing systems. The proposed technique will have a great impact on society because of its easier use and cheaper price compared to other automated wheelchair designs.

The weight of water contained in paddy rice which is expressed in percent is called Moisture Content. Moisture Content measurement is important to achieve the levels for safe and long-term storage. Accurate measurement also an influence on the market price because of weight loss if the grain is sold too dry. There exists moisture tester in the market but lacks convenient functionalities such as data storage and data transfer. This opens an opportunity to create a design solution for a moisture tester with upgraded functionalities. The design solution was created by constructing a moisture tester driven by ATmega328P microcontroller where a moisture sensor, DHT-22, was connected. The DHT-22 is responsible for sensing the moisture content of the paddy rice with a measurement unit of EMC or Equilibrium Moisture Content. These data then are saved in a micro SD card. It also has a real-time saving in which the moisture content readings are transferred to a computer using an hc-05 bluetooth module and saved into a database. The system functionality test demonstrates that the constructed design has satisfied the objectives. In conclusion, the researchers were able to measure the moisture content with minimal discrepancies, save the moisture content of the paddy and communicate with computers connected to it.

Enterprises use paraphernalia which tend to be unduly sensitive and have exorbitant rates. Thus, only some licit personnel should be able to access as well as operate these. This brings in the need for an access control system. Biometrics is an upcoming technology being used for access control. Biometrics makes use of a person's unique features like face, fingerprint, iris, ear etc. to identify a person. They are propitious as they cannot be shared, forgotten or stolen. This paper presents a multilevel biometric security system. The two levels of security involved are face recognition for identification and fingerprint recognition for authentication. An android based face recognition application provides the first level of security. The app uses the method of normalized cross correlation for face recognition. The bluetooth of the phone interacts with ARM 7 based microcontroller LPC2148 via bluetooth module hc-05. The second level of security is provided using R305 fingerprint scanner which does a pattern matching based on the ridges and valleys. Only after traversing through these two levels, will an authorized person be able to access the said industrial equipment. This paper presents an access control system for a solar panel cleaning bot. This system provides augmented security and has the advantage of being portable and having a low power requirement, but the effectiveness of sample collection process is subject to the environmental conditions, user training and usability.

An Intelligent Walking Stick for the Visually-Impaired People

Blind stick or white cane is introduced to blind people after the First World War as a mobility tool to detect the obstacles in the path of the user. This paper proposes an Arduino Nano based obstacle finding stick for visually-impaired people, which helps a blind person by detecting the obstacles using Ultrasonic sensors and android mobile application. It is able to inform the blind person about the circumstances & present condition of the path where he/she is walking. The main objective of this paper is to help a blind people to move more freely by using a reliable stick. The device consists of arduino nano, hc SR-04 ultrasonic sensor, hc-05 bluetooth module, push buttons, 100nF ceramic capacitors and a 9V battery as the power source. And the android app is developed using MIT App Inventor 2.
