Detection model for network access data tampering attacks with blockchain technology

This paper studies the detection model of network access data tampering attack based on blockchain technology to solve the problem of over-dependence on central server and easy data tampering in traditional network environment. The model uses decentralization and encryption technology to monitor user behavior in real time through smart contracts, enhances data protection with SHA-256 hash algorithm, and combines consensus algorithm to ensure data consistency and security. The experimental results show that the model performs well in detecting multiple attack types with an accuracy of 99.51% and an F1 score of 0.98, far exceeding traditional methods and other deep learning techniques. The model shows good robustness under multi-node attacks, even with 200 attack nodes, the recognition accuracy is still close to 90%, and the response time is less than 3 seconds. Cross-platform testing showed that the model quickly and consistently detected tampering on both Ethereum and Hyperledger, with an average detection time between 0.33 and 0.47 *** hardware acceleration test further shows that the processing speed and hardware utilization of TPU and GPU have been improved, with TPU processing speed reaching 135 MB/s and GPU 122 MB/s. This study will provide a theoretical basis for improving the security, effectiveness and reliability of current network systems, and also lay a solid theoretical and technical foundation for network applications in future network environments.

Currently, blockchain-based solutions for drug traceability encounter challenges related to counterfeit drug prevention, user identity verification, and scalability. This paper presents BE-AC, an enhanced blockchain-based drug traceability solution. To bolster the authenticity and integrity of drug information, we innovatively upgraded the EdDSA (Edwards-curve Digital Signature algorithm) digital signature algorithm. Our enhancement incorporates the more advanced and efficient BLAKE3 hash function, replacing the conventional SHA-512 (Secure hash algorithm 512-bit). By employing larger hash windows and secure, efficient hash iteration modes, we expedite the generation and verification of digital signatures for drug information, thereby enhancing the overall performance and security of the system. Additionally, we have devised a decentralized identity authentication scheme. Through on-chain stored identity information, all participants can mutually verify each other's identities, effectively preventing identity impersonation and fraudulent transactions. Furthermore, we have implemented smart contracts to record and store all transaction information on-chain during the drug distribution process, ensuring reliable and convenient drug transaction traceability. To address scalability and information security, we introduced a collaborative on-chain and off-chain drug information storage solution. Experimental results demonstrate a remarkable 78.65% improvement in signature verification efficiency compared to the original algorithm. The designed solution exhibits noteworthy enhancements in identity authentication, system throughput, and storage efficiency.

Dynamical analysis of four-dimensional chaotic system and its application in image encryption

In this paper, a phase diagram of a four-dimensional chaotic system is established by introducing cosine function into Lorenz system. Then 0-1 test, complexity, and offset boosting, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) test is conducted on the pseudo-random sequence generated by the system. Result shows that the system is suitable for image encryption. Combining with the proposed system, an image encryption algorithm based on hash and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is designed. In this algorithm, through the plaintext hash value generated by the system initial values and the number of iterations to generate chaos sequence. By reordering the sequence of indexes to scrambling plaintext. In the diffusion module, we use XOR and cyclic left shift to get the final ciphertext. After simulation and security analysis, the algorithm has good encryption efficiency and security. It can resist most common attacks.

In the constantly changing digital age where instant information sharing is shared globally, the content's safe delivery and privacy management have become necessary. Mainly, information in multimedia data becomes massive in networks, and sharing such data becomes vital and vulnerable. To mitigate the vulnerability in information sharing over public networks, it is crucial to develop privacy-preserving algorithms and system security schemes that ensure the safety, ownership and integrity of the information that travels through the network. The confusion and diffusion strategies are significant in enhancing the robustness of the encryption algorithms. This paper deals with ensuring the image's Confidentiality-Integrity-Authenticity (CIA triad) aspects using image encryption, integrity and authentication strategies. The proposed algorithm generates a one-way hash value based on pixel intensity, which acts as a digital fingerprint for the image to validate integrity failures. The hash value of the image is used as a diffusion key in the proposed image-specific encryption algorithm. Lorentz attractor generates a random index for confusion in the proposed encryption algorithm. The CIA triad system involves the deployment of a one-way "Authentication token" (Authtoken) generator that produces an image-specific token. The suggested system was examined using several CIA-related metrics, yielding an average entropy of 7.97871 and a correlation of 0.00337. Other metrics further demonstrate the applicability of the proposed framework. Hence, the suggested security solution offers an absolute CIA triad while they are being transmitted.

In this paper, a new four-dimensional chaotic system is constructed. Then, the dynamics of the phase diagram, Lyapunov exponent, bifurcation, and complexity of the system are investigated, and the simulation circuit of the system is designed and the trajectory simulation of the system is implemented using a field programmable gate array. National Institute of Standards and Technology tests have verified the randomness of the output of the chaotic sequence by the system. Finally, a new color image encryption algorithm is designed based on this system. In the proposed algorithm, the plaintext information is used to generate the initial value of the system through a hashing algorithm, and the plaintext information is applied to the algorithm, reflecting the idea of algorithmic adaption. The bit-plane decomposition row dislocation breaks the strong correlation between pixels, and finally, the DNA encoding is combined with the diffusion method to complete the complete encryption process. Multiple security analysis methods show that the scheme has a good encryption effect.

Deep self-learning based dynamic secret key generation for novel secure and efficient hashing algorithm

The hash function is an efficient source of the integrity and authentication of input text and other data messages (image & audio-video) in the cryptography field. Existing hashing algorithms are time-consuming and vulnerable to collision attacks, birthday attacks, meet-in-the-middle attacks, and key search attacks. In this context, we propose an innovative and secure hash algorithm that uses self-learning neurons during the implementation phase. Firstly, the proposed deep learning hashing algorithm accepts the variable length (ln) of the input text and image messages (im) at the input layer 0 and divides the whole input (M) into four characters, represented as message pair (MP). If the last MP contains less than four characters, have been completed by the assumption of the special cases and processed via the OR logical operation. Subsequently, the proposed pattern matching-swapping methods have resolved the conflict of the repeated characters in each MP. Secondly, the proposed novel dynamic secret keys are generated for each MP by introducing a skip and select basic conditions by omitting the consecutive 0's or 1's in key selection. Thirdly, upon successfully processing the phases above, the proposed novel hashing algorithm generates collision-free hash values using forwarding and backward propagation. Experimental results show that our proposed hashing algorithm is efficient and significantly outperforms in terms of sensitivity generated in hash output, speed, and collision resistance compared to the existing state-of-the-art hashing algorithms.

FSR-SPD: an efficient chaotic multi-image encryption system based on flip-shift-rotate synchronous-permutation-diffusion operation

Images are a crucial component in contemporary data transmission. Numerous images are transmitted daily through the open-source network. This paper presents a multi-image encryption scheme that utilises flip-shift-rotate synchronous-permutation-diffusion (FSR-SPD) processes to ensure the security of multiple images in a single encryption operation. The proposed encryption technique distinguishes itself from current multi-image encryption methods by utilising SPD operation and rapid FSR-based pixel-shuffling and diffusion operation. The SPD is a cryptographic technique that involves the simultaneous application of permutation and diffusion methods. The FSR-based process involves the manipulation of pixels through three different operations, namely flipping, shifting, and rotating. In the process of encryption, the image components of red, green, and blue colours are merged into a single composite image. The large image is partitioned into non-overlapping blocks of uniform size. The SPD technique is employed to tackle each specific block. The encryption method is efficient and expeditious as it exhibits high performance with both FSR and SPD procedures. The method employs a single, fixed-type, one-dimensional, piecewise linear chaotic map (PWLCM) for both the permutation and diffusion phases, resulting in high efficiency in both software and hardware. The proposed method is assessed using key space, histogram variance, neighbouring pixel correlation, information entropy, and computational complexity. The proposed method has a much bigger key space than the comparative method. Compared to comparison approaches, the suggested solution reduces encrypted picture histogram variance by 6.22% and neighbouring pixel correlations by 77.78%. Compared to the comparison technique, the proposed scheme has a slightly higher information entropy of 0.0025%. Other multiple-color image encryption methods are more computationally intensive than the suggested method. Computer simulations

This paper proposes an image securing technique that aims to provide two-level security on two images in terms of encryption at the same time. In this technique, both bit and pixel-level encryptions are carried out;first, the pixel-level-shuffling is performed using the piece-wise linear chaotic map (PWLCM);then, the diffusion in bit-level is performed using the key-image. The bit-level diffusion using chaos not just to confuse the pixels, but is also diffuses them intensely. In addition, the bit and pixel-level processes improve that algorithm's security. Additionally, the parallel bit-plane diffusion process reduces the method's computational complexity. This technique uses one type of one-dimensional chaotic map in both permutation and diffusion, thereby increasing the algorithm's hardware and software efficiency. The results of the security analysis and simulation show that the suggested method is more effective in encoding and improves the security of the encrypted images.

An efficient dual-stage pixel-diffusion based multimedia-image encryption using one-type 1D chaotic maps

Multimedia is an appealing and interactive information representation using a mixture of images, text, audios, and videos. In many cases, people are using images more often than text to represent the information. This is because people do not like to read large amounts of textual content. Multimedia-images are widely used in military intelligence, satellite imagery, education, business presentations, secret documentations, etc. Security is therefore a major concern nowadays for storing and transmitting these multimedia-images. There are many algorithms that have been proposed in recent times to attain security. This paper presents a dual-stage pixel-diffusion protection image encryption method based on one-type one-dimensional (1D) chaotic maps. The two-stage diffusion process diffuses pixels twice and thus increases the algorithm's security. The proposed algorithm is stronger than the encryption algorithms based on the one-stage diffusion process. The proposed technique initially performs pixel-permutation operation in the individual components of colour images (red, green, and blue) and then conducts twice-diffusion operations (ADD and Exclusive-OR) in the individual components. The performance of the suggested method is evaluated using key space, histogram variance, adjacent pixel correlation, information entropy, differential attack, and computational complexity analyses. The key space of the proposed approach is 70.62% greater than that of the comparative method, which has the greatest key space. Like key space, the proposed strategy has a 4.91% lower histogram variance and 75% lower adjacent pixel correlations in encrypted images than the comparison methods, which has the lowest histogram variance and adjacent pixel correlations. The proposed scheme's information entropy is just 0.0013% lower than the comparison technique, which has a greater information entropy.
