An Improved immune clone selection algorithm for Parameters Optimization of Marine Electric Power System Stabilizer

In themarine electric power system,the marine generators will be disturbed by the large change of loads or the fault of the power *** marine generators usually installed power system stabilizers to damp power system oscillations through the excitation *** paper proposes a novel method to obtain optimal parameter values for Power System Stabilizer(PSS)to suppress low-frequency oscillations in the marine electric power *** this paper,a newly developed immune clone selection algorithm was improved from the three aspects of the adaptive incentive degree,vaccination,and adaptive mutation ***,the typical PSS implementation type of leader-lag structure was adopted and the objective function was set in the optimization *** performance of PSS tuned by improved immune clone selection algorithm was compared with PSS tuned by basic immune clone selection algorithm(ICSA)under various operating conditions and ***,an improved immune clone selection algorithm(IICSA)optimization technique was implemented on two test systems for test *** on the simulations,it is found that an improved immune clone selection algorithm demonstrates superiority over the basic immune clone selection algorithm in getting a smaller number of iterations and fast convergence rates to achieve the optimal parameters of the power system ***,the proposed approach improves the stability and dynamic performance under various loads conditions and disturbances of the marine electric power system.

Based on the immune regulating mechanism of biological immune system, a kind of Master-Slave immune clone selection algorithm (MSICSA). The algorithm uses multi population strategy, through the immigration and emigration operation, update information between population and maintain the diversity of population. Experimental results showed that the proposed MSICSA can effectively improve the basic immune clonal selection algorithm to solve the shortcomings of large-scale optimization problems, with excellent global convergence and stability.

This paper provides an overview on immune clone selection algorithm for the automated design and optimization of fuzzy logic controller. A new optimization method for fuzzy logic controller design is proposed. The membership functions of input and output variables are defined by six parameters, which are adjusted to maximize the performance index of the controller by using immune clone selection algorithm. This method can shorten coding length, incarnate the characteristic of mutation and improve the capability of search and convergence of algorithm. Simulation experiment on water level controller is discussed by using above method. The simulation results show that the fuzzy logic controller based on immune clone selection algorithm avoids premature effectively and prove its feasibility.

In the analysis of predicting financial distress based on support vector regression (SVR), irrelevant or correlated features in the samples could spoil the performance of the SVR classifier, leading to decrease of prediction accuracy. In order to solve the problems mentioned above, this paper used rough sets as a preprocessor of SVR to select a subset of input variables and employed the immune clone selection algorithm (ICSA) to optimize the parameters of SVR. Additionally, the proposed ICSA-SVR model that can automatically determine the optimal parameters was tested on the prediction of financial distress. Then, we compared the proposed ICSA-SVR model with other artificial intelligence models of (BPN and fix-SVR). The experiment indicates that the proposed method is quite effective and ubiquitous.

The main aim of this study is managing robot tasks to minimize the deviation between the resource requirements and stated desirable levels. An improved adaptive immune clone selection algorithm (ICSA) is proposed. In this study resource leveling methods are used to solve task scheduling problems in autonomous multi robot group. Robots are considered as resources. The experimental results show that proposed methods have better performances such as good and fast global convergence, strong robustness, insensitive to initial values, simplicity of implementation.

This paper is concerned with fuzzy entropy definition used for image segmentation. The key problem associated with this method is to find the optimal parameter combination of membership function so that an image can be transformed into fuzzy domain with maximum fuzzy entropy. An improved immune clone selection algorithm (ICSA) is proposed to search the optimal parameter combination. Then, we compare the proposed ICSA with other artificial intelligence models. The experiment indicates that the proposed method is quite effective and ubiquitous.

A new fuzzy identification approach using support vector regression (SVR) and immune clone selection algorithm (ICSA) is presented in this paper. Firstly positive definite reference function is utilized to construct a qualified Mercer kernel for SVR. Then an improved ICSA is developed for parameters selection of SVR, in which the number of support vectors and regression accuracy are regarded simultaneously to guarantee the conciseness of the constructed fuzzy model. Finally, a set of TS fuzzy rules can be extracted from the SVR directly. Simulation results show that the resulting fuzzy model not only costs less fuzzy rules, but also possesses good generalization ability.
