The paper presents an innovative dissipation-based solution algorithm for a phenomenological 3D constitutive model for shape memory alloys (SMA), set in the framework of generalized standard materials, within the formalism of thermodynamics of irreversible processes. The proposed solution scheme aims at detecting all mathematical singularities inherent to the formulation itself, and, in the discrete setting, is capable of filtering out the relevant numerical instabilities applying a check and treat paradigm. No regularization is introduced into the constitutive equations. Numerical results on single material point strain/stress - driven evolutions are reported to validate the proposed method.

Material models in the libraries of commercially available finite element codes often cannot satisfy the needs of some special material property descriptions, such as those of materials under ultra-high-speed cutting. To overcome the difficulty, this paper introduces an efficient explicit algorithm to implement a generalized user-defined model of metal plasticity into the Abaqus/Explicit program. This algorithm makes the computation quite efficient by avoiding updating the tensor of elastic-plastic modulus in each increment.

Improved Krylov Precise Time integration algorithm for Structural Dynamic Equations

An improved Krylov precise time-step integration algorithm is proposed to solve the second-order differential equations with arbitrary excitation directly and efficiently. This method could tackle the complex excitations and improve the computing efficiency by determining the bound of iterative subspace (m) accurately. The upper bound of m could be obtained by computational efficiency analysis, whereas the error estimation is employed to compute the lower bound of m. Hence, the application of the improved Krylov precise time-step integration algorithm could be extended widely by determining the bound of m. Two numerical examples are also presented to demonstrate the practicability and the applicability of the proposed method.

The main purpose of this work is to present an explicit integration algorithm for the unified rate-dependent elasto-plastic damage model. In the new integration algorithm, the plastic correction is solved by the following two assumptions: Constant equivalent strain rate;the direction of the deviatoric stress tensor remains unchanged if no plastic strain occurs. When the stress tensor at the initial moment is on the yield surface, both the plastic multiplier and the equivalent plastic strain increment obtained by the plastic correction method proposed in this paper is the same as that obtained by the plastic flow method. It indirectly proves the rationality of the plastic correction method. Then, both the traditional return mapping algorithm and this new integration algorithm are applied to the modified Johnson-Cook constitutive model and Cowper-Symonds model. Simulation of the Split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) experiments using the modified Johnson-Cook constitutive model and Cowper-Symonds model, respectively. The stress error and the accumulated stress error are introduced to evaluate the accuracy of the plasticity integration algorithm. Numerical simulation results show that the accuracy of the new integration algorithm is higher than the traditional return mapping algorithm.

An innovative numerical scheme to improve the integration algorithm for critical state elastoplasticity is presented and detailed with special consideration to the modified Cam-Clay model. The scheme is based on a rotation of the principal stresses and represents the elastoplastic model in a rotated Haigh-Westergaard space. Such an approach allows the calculation of modified Cam-Clay tobe computationally stable and easy to implement. The validity of the proposed scheme is verified by comparing the numerical results with analytic solutions.

This series of two papers provides a rigorous comprehensive approach to the design of the principal software algorithms utilized in modern-day strapdown inertial navigation systems: integration of angular rate into attitude, acceleration transformation/integration into velocity, and integration of velocity into position, The algorithms are structured utilizing the two-speed updating approach originally developed for attitude updating in which an analytically exact equation is used at moderate speed to update the integration parameter (attitude, velocity, or position) with input provided from a high-speed algorithm measuring dynamic angular rate/acceleration effects within the parameter update time interval [coning for attitude updating, sculling for velocity updating, and scrolling (writer's terminology) for high-resolution position updating], The algorithm design approach accounts for angular rate/specific force acceleration measurements from the strapdown system inertial sensors as well as rotation of the navigation frame used for attitude referencing and velocity integration. This paper, Part 1, defines the overall design requirement for the strapdown inertial navigation integration function and develops direction cosine and quaternion forms for the attitude updating algorithms, Part 2 [Savage, P. G., "Strapdown Inertial Navigation integration algorithm Design Part 2: Velocity and Position algorithms," Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics (to be published)] deals with design of the velocity and position integration algorithms, Although Parts 1 and 2 often cover fundamental inertial navigation concepts, the material presented is intended for use by the practitioner who is already familiar with basic inertial navigation concepts.

SINSIGPS integration provides reliable navigation solutions by overcoming each of their shortcomings, including signal blockage for GPS and growth of position errors with time for SINS. Most of the present navigation systems rely on Kalman filtering methods to fuse data. Present Kalman filtering SINS/GPS integration techniques have several inadequacies related to sensor error model, immunity to noise and observability. This paper aims at introducing a novel SINS/GPS integration algorithm utilizing Hopfield neural network. This method obtains the optimal state estimation by minimizing the energy function of the Hopfield neural network. Furthermore this algorithm relaxes the assumptions made by the Kalman filter so that it is more versatile. Simulation results show that the new integration algorithm performs similarly to the Kalman filter. Furthermore it has some advantages such as fast convergence, unbias and high precision during fusion process, despite of the inaccurate modeling errors, system disturbance, observation errors, and even the shortage of observation. Also as the parallel computational mode and easily carried out in hardware of the Hopfield neural network, this integration algorithm can improve the navigation guidance accuracy, real time ability and practicability of the SINS/GPS.

Online English Resource integration algorithm based on high-dimensional Mixed Attribute Data Mining

To improve the scalability of resources and ensure the effective sharing and utilization of online English resources, an online English resource integration algorithm based on high-dimensional mixed-attribute data mining is proposed. First, an integration structure based on high-dimensional mixed-attribute data mining is constructed. According to this structure, the characteristics of online English resources are extracted, and historical data mining is carried out in combination with the spatial distribution characteristics of resources. In this way, the spatial mapping function of features is established, and the optimal clustering center is designed according to the clustering and fusion structure of online English resources. At this node, the clustering and fusion of online English resources are carried out. According to the fusion results, the distribution structure model of online English resources is constructed, and the optimization research of the integration algorithm of online English resources is carried out. The experimental results show that the integration optimization efficiency of the proposed algorithm is 89%, and the packet loss rate is 0.19%. It has good integration performance, and can realize the integration of multi-channel and various forms of online English resources.

Support Vector Machine (SVM) is a powerful machine learning technique often applied in various early warning scenarios. When using SVM for binary classification, its output results can be converted into a probability distribution based on sample categories. Through the analysis of the results, it is found that when the probability of a sample belonging to a positive class is equivalent to the probability of a sample belonging to a negative class, there is a high possibility of misclassification of the sample. To address this issue, this study proposes a new SVM ensemble model construction method. We generate SVM sub-classifiers to extract error prone set, and utilise three different combination rules to construct ensemble model based on the output probability of the samples. The accuracy of the whole data set is improved for the classification accuracy of the easily misclassified data are improved. This research evaluated the model based on Wind turbine SCADA data and UCI benchmark datasets. According to the research results, the accuracy rate of SCADA data is as high as 97.52%, and the accuracy rate of German credit data is 77.50%. Meanwhile, the comparison with other methods also validates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
