This study introduces an innovative condition monitoring test rig for the differential planetary roller screws (DPRS), focusing on their performance in extreme conditions. In practical applications such as aerospace and humanoid robotics, DPRS operate under complex conditions involving varying temperatures and multi-directional loads. Accurately monitoring the operational state under these challenging environments is difficult, which can hinder the assessment of the system's stability and reliability. This model was developed to address these challenges, it underscores the importance of anti-jamming and real-time monitoring for the DPRS reliability. The research presents a dynamic friction model using the Lagrange method, enhancing understanding of DPRS operations. Advanced signal processing techniques, including discrete wavelet transforms and a convolutional neural network, are implemented for effective feature extraction. A DWTC-BiGRU network is utilized to capture temporal dependencies, vital for monitoring DPRS under varying conditions. Experimental validation is conducted under thermal stress and load variations, demonstrating the system's durability and reliability. The study compares its method with existing algorithms, showing superior accuracy and robustness by combining mechanical modeling with computational techniques for real-time industrial monitoring. The dataset is publicly available at GitHub-haomjc/HealthMoni.

In the open shop scheduling problem, two processing orders named operations within jobs and operations on machines need to be decided. When the problem size becomes large, the existing exact method can hardly solve it. Therefore, intelligent algorithms are introduced to solve the problem. The aim of this study is to find out effective intelligent algorithm which can be used in the open shop scheduling problem. Four intelligent algorithms, namely genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization, cuckoo search algorithm and ant colony optimization have been proposed and modified for this specific problem and two experiments have been carried out to compare the effectiveness of these algorithms. The results show that these intelligent algorithms have an acceptable performance and can be used for large scale problems, which cannot be solved by the exact method. Among these algorithms, cuckoo search algorithm is the best one and can solve problems effectively, due to the levy flight and other features. The technique of shredded documentation reconstruction is widely used in different areas such as military affairs and archaeology. This process, however, can hardly be finished merely by human efforts. Therefore, it is important to develop an effective method basing on intelligent algorithms. Designed for effectively solving this problem, this paper attempts to develop an automatic reconstructing method by discomposing the process into three parts, which are tackled with by different algorithms respectively. Firstly, the document pieces, which are in the first column of the original document, are picked out by the blank-area-searching algorithm. Then follows the searching of the adjacent document piece by the help of rightward-eduction algorithm and hence all rows in the original document are reconstructed. Considering the special cases of 'endless loop' as well as 'false searching' at this stage, the corresponding methods of fixed-distance-based clustering analysis and pattern recognition are given. Lastly, by revising the eduction algorithms into upward and downward directions, all rows can be putted back into the original document in the right order. Following these three steps, the shredded original document can be reconstructed automatically.

An intelligent algorithm is proposed for industrial boiler control system in this paper. By intelligent reforming a classical PID control algorithm, a better static and dynamic performance is achieved. Based on human knowledge, taking in human experience about the ratio of air to coal consume, by adjusting and calculating the set value, and through computer self-learning, the good performance of overall smooth optimization of combustion efficiency is obtained.

A miniature Fourier transform spectrometer is designed with tailored optical path differences for visible spectral reconstruction. The combination of intelligent algorithms, the convex optimization algorithm (CVX) and the one-dimension modified convolutional neural network (Unet), is used to retrieve spectra under measurement with noise. This scheme recovers four kinds of spectra accurately with the mean-square error of 8.32 x 10(-4).

Integrated renewable energy is now becoming an option for sustainable growth of humanity. Because it provides the uninterrupted energy supply to small, and micro grids, as well as it penetrates the larger conventional energy grid to decrease the emissions and active losses. Combining renewable sources to conventional grid results in an integrated renewable energy system. Sometimes for smaller loads hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) can be used as an alternative. This whole integration of different renewable energy systems (RES) which can be grid connected or off grid, requires optimization of various factors like total levelized cost of energy, total CO2 emission (life cycle), total percentage of grid penetration etc. Hence, these kinds of problems include a large data regarding, energy resources, their annual availability, use pattern of the energy. Therefore to solve these complex problems one has to use intelligent computer algorithms, because of less calculation time and better accuracy than any other means. This paper highlights an updated literature regarding algorithmic multiobjective optimization for generation and integration side problems of renewable energy resources to satisfy electrical and in some cases thermal demand also. It will be helpful to the researchers working in the field of multiobjective optimization and integrated RES.

With the rapid development of computer technology, communication technology and Internet technology, the traditional archives management mode has also encountered severe challenges. Archival informatization is a modern process of collecting, organizing, storing, developing and utilizing documents based on networks, computers and information technology. With archival resources as the goal and archival work as the basis, following the latest archival management theories, archival informatization has become an important part of modern archival management with the development of archival business. The aim of this paper is to study a digital management system for archival information based on intelligent algorithms. A TextRank-based method for the automatic extraction of key information from digitised archives is proposed to address the need for the extraction of key information from worded archives, and the algorithm is integrated into the archival information digitisation management system, and the modules of the system are experimentally tested, with the experimental results showing the superiority and technical feasibility of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

The changes in technology have led to a synchronous change in the clothing design method, as well as media and artistic aesthetics in the same period. The intelligence algorithm is constantly increasing its participation in development and production in the clothing industry. In this study, a variety of intelligent algorithms, including the parameterised number state algorithm, Generative Adversarial Networks, and style transfer were introduced into the multi-links of clothing product design and development, such as clothing shape, print pattern, texture craft, product vision, and so on. Men, an innovative clothing design method based on the cooperation of the intelligent algorithm and various human functional roles was constructed. The method improves the efficiency of the multiple links of clothing design, such as generating 10000 printing patterns every 72.12 seconds, and completing the migration of 92.7 frames of the garment process style every second. To a certain extent, this study realizes the scale economy of clothing design and reduces its marginal cost through the unlimited computing power brought about by Moore's law of digital technology, which provides a reference for the exploration of clothing design in the era of industry 4.0.

In the last decade, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has begun to play a fundamental role in the transformation of different areas of human endeavor, including public management. This article explores recent advances in the application of AI in public management, examines the associated challenges and analyzes the future prospects of this disruptive technology. In this understanding, a bibliographic portfolio of 3.124 articles was prepared, produced between 2019 and 2023, with which a systematic review of the literature was carried out and bibliometric networks were created with the VOSviewer software. Thus, specific use cases are explored in areas such as decision making, public service delivery and resource management. It is concluded that, if these challenges are addressed, AI has the potential to boost efficiency, transparency and citizen participation in public administration. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

An intelligent scheduling method for energy saving operation of multi-train is proposed based on genetic algorithm and regenerative kinetic energy. Considering the morning and evening peak, departure time, and total vehicle number, the energy consumption optimisation model of multidimensional state vector subspace of train is established for the train departure interval with the lowest total energy consumption. Two intelligent control models are used to formulate the time interval scheduling plan depending on whether to consider the morning and evening peak. The train operation diagram is solved by Matlab, and the validity and feasibility of the proposed algorithm are verified. This study provides an intelligent and efficient algorithm and solution for multi-train intelligent scheduling problem.
