Migration-based algorithm library enrichment for constrained multi-objective optimization and applications in algorithm selection

It is of necessity to select appropriate optimization algorithms from an algorithm library due to the universality of constrained multi-objective optimization problems and the suitability of intelligent optimization algorithms, which requires a rich optimization algorithm library. This paper proposes a migration-based method of enriching the algorithm library for constrained multi-objective optimization problems. After calculating the similarity between problems based on their landscape features, the proposed method calculates the migration probabilities of intelligent optimization algorithms solving similar problems based on the performance of each algorithm and the similarity between problems. According to the redundancy and compatibility of components, the algorithms with large migration probabilities enrich the algorithm library for solving the current problem. Based on the enhanced algorithm library, a Softmax regression model is trained to generate an optimal intelligent algorithm to solve the current problem. The proposed method is applied to solve a series of constrained multi-objective optimization benchmark problems and the operation optimization problems of an integrated coal mine energy system, and the experimental results verify its effectiveness and feasibility.

To solve the problems of slow convergence speed and difficulty in balancing exploration and development in whale optimization algorithm (WOA), a TWOA algorithm integrating Tent chaos and nonlinear convergence factors is proposed. First, the whale population in WOA algorithm uses random walk, which causes the uneven distribution of whale individuals in the exploration stage, and by adding the Tent chaotic mapping strategy and taking advantage of the ergodicity of Tent chaotic mapping, the whale population is distributed more evenly in the random walk stage, which enhances the global search ability of the algorithm. Second, because WOA algorithm adopts linear convergence factor, it cannot effectively solve the balance problem of balancing exploration and development, and by changing linear convergence factor into nonlinear convergence factor, the optimization accuracy of the algorithm can be improved. Finally, by using 10 standard test functions, the problems of unimodal functions and multimodal functions were tested. The results show that the whale optimization algorithm with Tent chaotic map and nonlinear convergence factor is superior to the original algorithm in both mean and standard deviation. From the convergence curve, it can be observed that the convergence speed and convergence accuracy are obviously improved.

An analysis of time commitment for college students to online English writing and peer assessment learning

Online English writing and peer assessment have always occupied an important place in the assessment of composition at the basic education level as an important writing style and assessment tool. Therefore, this paper constructs the IOA-English analysis model based on the intelligent optimization algorithm as the theoretical basis. An in-depth study of online English writing patterns and the time devoted to them, and the intensity and effectiveness of peer assessment among college students. The results of the study are as follows: the computational analysis shows that the time required for the pre-writing preparation stage is 5-10 minutes, with a difficulty factor of 0.3. The final draft submission phase required the least amount of time, 3-7 minutes, with a difficulty factor of only 0.1. The writing revision stage, the most important stage, takes 10-15 minutes and has a difficulty factor of 0.6. The time for the writing revision phase can be divided into two parts: the first part is the time for tasting the model essay, which is about 3-8 minutes. The second part is the writing and revision time, which is about 12-17 minutes. More than 91% of the students were aware of the importance of peer assessment and were brave enough to express their opinions in cooperative learning and to take care of each other's learning needs in peer assessment.

In this paper, the open-circuit fault characteristics of IGBT in Modular multilevel converter（MMC） are studied. A fault diagnosis method based on average value of the three-phase ac current to extract fault characteristics, then an intelligent optimization algorithm for fault detection and location of support vector machine(SVM is proposed. When a fault occurs, the average value of three-phase ac current is no longer zero, which can detect the occurrence of the faulty SM. When the open-circuit fault occurs in the SMs of different bridge arms, the average value of three-phase ac current produces different dc bias components. According to the change rule of average value in three-phase current, the fault characteristic is extracted, and then the fault is classified and located by the SVM classifier optimized by genetic algorithm. Finally, Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method can not only detect the fault block module quickly, but also improve the accuracy of fault classification.

Transmission line inspection and maintenance are the foundation to ensure the normal operation of the power grid. However, transmission line inspection and maintenance in remote regions are expensive, especially in unmanned regions. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) power inspection is significant development towards the space-ground collaborative smart grid. The UAV is used to patrol the power system, and the security problems and fault types can be detected in time by remote video transmission. But in a multi-tasks scenario how to schedule UAVs to complete tasks with the least cost(which can be energy consumption,distance, time) is rarely studied. This paper studies the scheduling problem of multi-machines and multi-tasks in UAVs power inspection, formulates the schedule of UAVs as a multi-traveling salesman problem applied in this scenarios. Two scheduling strategies based on Genetic algorithm and Tabu Search algorithm are proposed to solve the multi-traveling salesman problem. In particular, the Genetic algorithm has a fast convergence speed and a better objective function ***, it is easier to meet the rapid emergency requirements in the multi-tasks scenarios of the UAVs.

The sintering burn through point(BTP) is the most important parameter in the sintering process, which is usually used to evaluate the quality of sintered products. However, due to the sintering process is a complex physical and chemical reaction process, the specific sintering end point cannot be detected. In this paper, the fireworks algorithm based on genetic algorithm(GA-FWA) is applied to optimize the parameters in support vector machines(SVM). A new intelligent optimization algorithm is proposed to optimize the sintering terminal prediction model of support vector machines. The model uses MATLAB software to test the actual production data of a steel factory. Through a large number of experiments, the average relative error of the experimental results is 0.0778%, and the average absolute error is 0.0843. The accuracy of the experimental results is obviously higher than the other methods of predicting the sintering BTP. It can accurately predict the position of the sintering end point, greatly improve the quality and production of the sinter in the steel plant, and also prolong the service life of the sintering equipment and reduce the production cost.

To find an optimal handover solution of terminal users under heterogeneous wireless networks, Pareto optimum under Nash equilibrium of users' utility and network provider utility is achieved or approached for the found solution. QoS(quality of service) requirements, user preferences to access network coding schemes, user preferences to access network providers, user handoff history record, costs user willing to pay and the profit of suppliers are considered comprehensively in this paper. With introducing the knowledge of fuzzy mathematics and microeconomics, access networks and terminals are described. With the help of gaming analysis, an intelligent handover decision scheme with ABC(always best connected) supported is proposed by using coarse-grained and fine-grained crossover free search based intelligent optimization algorithm. After carrying out simulation and performance evaluation, the results show that the mechanism proposed in this paper is feasible and effective.
