Cloud computing is an emerging technology has grown a lot for virtualization and provides many services over the internet such as software as a service, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and many more services which reduce the cost expenses and operating expenses. Now by using these services, data can store online in the cloud, then automatically a security concern will arise about data. Many protection techniques have been proposed till now. The best options available is encrypting the data before storing in third party cloud database and again decrypt the data after retrieving from the cloud. We introduce a more economical and robust encryption technique which allows a third-party cloud server to shield user data more expeditiously.

In this paper we consider an evolution of ideas in vacuum photodetector developments. Diverse approaches in developments of vacuum photodetectors (classical photomultipliers and hybrid phototubes) for the last half of century are covered. A particular emphasis is made on large area vacuum photodetectors developments. Some other issues concerning WLS and light guide techniques for increasing photodetectors sensitivity are highlighted as well.

The idea to conjugate PEG [poly(ethylene glycol)] to a protein, i.e., to "PEGylate" a protein, was first proposed by Prof. Frank Davis (Rutgers Univ.) in the late 1960s. He wanted to make the new recombinant proteins less immunogenic in our bodies, and thereby enhance their circulation and activity lifetimes. He thought that if he could conjugate a hydrophilic polymer to the "new" protein, it might not be recognized by the immune system as a foreign molecule. This article is a contribution to the Zwitterionic Special Issue as a personal commentary tracing the story of PEGylation from its beginning with Dr. Davis through a current day post-script. Statement of significance The author knows (or knew) personally most of the early workers in the fields of PEG, PEGylation and non-fouling surfaces, and he has also been personally active in the field since its early days. George Mines was a pioneering physiologist who, despite an extremely short period of professional activity and only primitive experimental methodology, succeeded in formulating concepts that continue to be of great influence today. Here, we review some of his most important discoveries and their impact on contemporary concepts and clinical practice. Mines' greatest contribution was his conceptualization and characterization of circus movement reentry. His observations and ideas about the basis for cardiac reentrant activity underlie how we understand and manage a wide range of important clinical rhythm disturbances today. The notions he introduced regarding the influence of premature extrastimuli on reentry (termination, resetting and entrainment) are central to contemporary assessment of arrhythmia mechanisms in clinical electrophysiology laboratories and modern device therapy of cardiac tachyarrhythmias. Refinements of his model of reentry have led to sophisticated biophysical theories of the mechanisms underlying cardiac fibrillation. His seminal observations on the influence of electrolyte derangements and autonomic tone on the heart are relevant to our understanding of the physiology and pharmacology of arrhythmias caused by cardiac pathology. In this era of advanced technology, it is important to appreciate that ideas of lasting impact come from great minds and do not necessarily require great tools.

Background In Vietnamese megacities motorcyclists account for a modal share of over 80%. The existing fleet relies mainly on combustion engines, which leaves not only the high number of motorcyclists widely unprotected against high pollution levels in the streets, but also causes high exposures for all other inhabitants, especially when considering the high number of roadside activities, which are found in typical activity patterns in Vietnam. On the other hand, the current transport systems provide such a high utilization of road infrastructure, that they can’t be improved by many typical measures from transport planning and traffic engineering, which are currently implemented in other countries worldwide to reduce emission or improve health. For example, promotion of public transport by bus or implementation of green waves was found to potentially impair the transport systems in Vietnam in short term. Methods Based on this situation and in-depth analyses in traffic engineering and transport planning in Vietnamese traffic situations, first workshops and initial exposure monitoring have been conducted in Vietnam to identify all necessary fields of action to be addressed by guidelines for a more health-oriented design of urban transport systems on the one hand and a more health-oriented usage of transport systems on the other hand. An interdisciplinary Vietnamese-German project team, that covers all stages from the design of transport systems, via human behavior and the resulting transport demand to its effects on pollution levels and exposures as well as other risks and the ability to quantify the impacts on human health is established. Results Based on initial fieldwork and surveys, nine working areas from the field of traffic and transport have been identified and assigned to experts for upcoming detailed research. All research areas are set up to assess measures from the respective field regarding health impacts from at least, (major) accidents, (minor) injuries,

The article represents genesis and development of Neo-Vedanta philosophy by thinkers of Bengal Renaissance thinkers. The reconsideration of classical Vedanta is described as continuation of its ideas as most suitable for Modern needs in cultural spheres as well as re-building of these ones based on humanistic approach.

Divergent thinking refers to a style of thinking that ranges across a broad range of concepts, and is considered to be a core enabler of creativity. Thinking is often modeled as a process of conceptual combination, and creative ideas are seen as those using unconventional combinations of concepts. Since conceptual combination is fundamentally an associative process, it has been proposed that creative thinking reflects stronger than expected associations between normally remote associates in the mind of the thinker. We recently proposed a neurodynamical model called Itinerant Dynamics with Emergent Attractors ( IDEA) to explore the process by which ideas can emerge in an associative memory system through conceptual combination. In this paper we study how the functional dynamics of this model changes when its associative weights are changed to make remote associations stronger. We apply the model to data from four sets of papers from previous IJCNN meetings. In addition to identifying the differences in the dynamics due to changes in the association pattern, we consider whether divergent thinking can potentially predict future ideas or reconstruct past ideas.

The author reflects on the decision of the Canadian Council of Registered Nurse Regulators to replace the Canadian Council of Registered Nursing Examination (CRNE) with the national U.S. nursing examination National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). He notes the seemingly unconcern on the part of regulators to the real concerns of Canadian nursing educators about the differences between the U.S. and Canadian nursing.
