On the basis of study on the key multi-axis motion control theories about acceleration & deceleration control, numerical interpolation algorithm, device drivers and application design technologies based on LabVIEW, verified the feasibility through the 3-axis numerical milling platform developed by ourselves. The platform can also realize the simulation and practical verification about the demonstration teaching process of numerical control machining and 3-dimensional contour of the workpiece machined, and has the significant practical value.

Image compression is a compression coding technology used in digital image. It is applied to reduce redundant information in image data, thus making unit storage and ring data transfer more efficient. interpolation algorithm is commonly used in image scaling for pixel processing, as to reduce the image distortion and blur. Considering the wavelet transform and wavelet transform coding ideas, a kind of wavelet transform and bilinear interpolation for image matching is presented. Combined with the SPIHT (Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Tree) coding scheme. Large number of experiments show that comparision with the original SPIHT algorithm, the new scheme has more prominent advantages in the peak signal to noise ratio, meansquare deviation and histogram. So this method can improve the effect of recovery image compression efficiently. With generality and flexibility, it is also suitable to process various formats and size of image.

The parameter estimation of multiple superimposed complex exponentials in noise has been a popular research problem for decades due to its various practical applications. In this paper, we propose a simple yet accurate estimator for estimating the complex amplitudes and frequencies of the superimposed exponentials. Combining an efficient frequency estimator with a leakage subtraction scheme, the novel method iterates to consecutively estimate each component by gradually reducing the estimation error and increasing the estimation accuracy. Simulation results are presented to verify that the proposed algorithm is capable of obtaining estimation performance that is very close to the Cramer-Rao lower bound. © 2015 IEEE.

Acoupled biharmonic spline and linear interpolation algorithm was proposed to create a three-dimensional smooth deposit model with minimal curvature containing grade and position data. To obtain the optimal technical parameters, such as cuttingheight and drum diameter, a virtual longwall mining procedure was modelled by simulating the actual fully mechanized longwall mining process. Based on the above work, a bauxite deposit in a longwall mining panel was modelled by scattered grade data from ores sampled on the entry wall. The deposit was then demarcated by industrial indexes and sliced according to the virtual longwallmining procedure. The results show that the proposed interpolation algorithm can depict the stratiform structure of bauxite depositsand that the uncovered bauxite deposit has high proportions of high-grade and rich ore. The ranges of optimal cutting height and drum diameters are 1.72-2.84 m and 1.42-1.72 m, respectively. Finally, an intellectualized longwall mining procedure was designed to guide the mining process with the lowest dilution and loss rates.

The distributed detection methods for mechanical structural damage have been researched in these years, but there are some key problems existing in operations such as complex calculation, a lot of testing points. Aiming at the existing shortcomings of the distributed mechanical structural damage detection, this paper puts forward a new method by using distributed Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors combining an interpolation algorithm, and predicts damage region through the limited testing points to avoid the deficiency caused by a large number of detection points. On this basis, taking the thin steel plate with four fixed corners as the object of study, the experiment system is set up using some FBG sensors, and its results verify the feasibility of the method with the interpolation algorithm.

The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method provides numeric solutions to analyze electromagnetic problems. This includes modeling wave propagation through urban environments, wireless communications, radio-frequency identification (RFID), and antenna design. As the operating frequency increases, the computational domains to solve these problems have grown to an unmanageable size. However, FDTD subgridding methods solve this problem without the need for excessive large memory allocation. Subgridding allows for the problem space to be divided into fine grids around articles of interest and then coarse grids elsewhere. Further accuracy improvements can be achieved with a higher order FDTD method in the coarse grids. We define the standard FDTD formulation where traditional 2nd order FDTD is used and the hybrid case when 2nd as well as 4th order FDTD formulations are used. This thesis will focus on the implementation of a new subgridding algorithm designed to simplify the complexities that arise with high frequency designs. This new FDTD subgridding algorithm will be instrumental in the reduction of memory usage and execution time for applications such as antennas, antenna arrays and electromagnetic scattering problems. Subgridding errors for a 1D, 2D, and 3D FDTD simulations are developed and presented. A correlation is seen between the increase of subgridding errors with the increase of contrast ratio (ratio between the fine and course grids) for both standard and hybrid cases. However, a trend of error reduction when using hybrid formulations over standard formulations is apparent. For example, when increasing the contrast ratio from 1:3 to, 1:9, 1:15, or 1:27, in a 2D case, the corresponding maximum errors in the computational domain for a field component become 0.61%, 0.69%, 0.70%, and 0.71%, respectively. However, strong improvement is seen when implementing the hybrid method where the corresponding errors becomes 0.42%, 0.18%, 0.16%, and 0.15%, respectively.

A study on dynamic measurement methods based on vibrating wire sensors

Vibrating wire sensors are widely used in long-term static strain monitoring. However, when dynamic measurements are needed, conventional measuring methods are unsuitable. On the basis of the static measuring method, in this paper we propose a new method of dynamic frequency excitation and measurement based on vibrating wire sensors. In the dynamic frequency excitation method, we adopt intermittent self-adaptive excitation which allows the internal steel in the sensor to vibrate continuously, without attenuation. In turn, this allows us to continuously collect and analyze the sensor signal. We use a dynamic frequency measurement algorithm to subsequently process the data, which interpolates three spectral lines based on a windowed fast Fourier transform. The resonance frequency of the sensor is obtained, which then allows us to dynamically acquire the strain. Through data analysis, the theoretical calculation error of the resonance frequency can be obtained to within 0.015 Hz, and the theoretical sampling rate of dynamic strain measurement can reach to 325 Hz. In addition, through our experiments, the efficiency and the feasibility of our methods are verified.
