Fault pattern recognition of gas blower based on discrete Fourier transform interpolation algorithm

The mechanical equipment fault spectrum often contains random noise, and traditional spectrum estimation methods introduce large errors in the fault diagnosis of mechanical equipment including gas blower. Accurate frequency estimation of multi-frequency signals that are contaminated is a common problem. To address the fault spectral characteristics of gas blowers, a novel discrete Fourier transform interpolation algorithm is presented based on traditional practice. The algorithm combines the zero-complement technique and the main lobe fitting technique. The accuracy of the spectrum correction was improved greatly with the new algorithm, and it could effectively promote fault pattern recognition. Application examples and simulation results showed that the new algorithm is very successful in the fault pattern recognition of gas blowers. Under noise conditions, the proposed algorithm has a smaller estimation error than conventional algorithms and could achieve high precision, strong compatibility, and robustness. Theoretically, the algorithm has attained a higher level, and its application in engineering practice is also quite impressive due to its highly expected values.

An interpolation algorithm for finite-duration real sequences using the discrete Fourier transform is presented. The proposed method is shown to result in a significant saving of computational labour over the discrete version of the time-domain classical interpolation formula. Estimation of inbetween samples for large sequences is possible within a mean square error of 0.00114 with this method. Some considerations with regard to the computation of FFTs are also discussed.

An interpolation algorithm of B-spline curve based on S-curve acceleration/deceleration with interference pre-treatment

The B-spline curve interpolation algorithm based on S-curve acceleration/deceleration (ACC/DEC) with interference pre-treatment is proposed to achieve a smooth transition of feed-rate, and to reduce the impact with acceleration mutation in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining. According to the demand of chord error, the algorithm divides a B-spline curve by velocity cusps. The interference points of the whole curve can be found out by using the S-curve ACC/DEC calculation for the velocity cusps of the whole curve from the forward and reverse directions. Then, the feed-rate of interference points is re-determined to avoid jerk overrun on the curve segments between mutual interference points, so as to improve the processing stability of machine tools. The simulation and experiment results demonstrate that the algorithm can obtain the smooth transition of feed-rate and acceleration in CNC machining, and ensured that the jerk can meet the ACC/DEC of system.

Radar with the linear frequency-modulated signal may range the target. Its range resolution is decided by the signal frequency bandwidth. This paper proposes an interpolation algorithm based on Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to improve the accuracy of range estimation without increasing the frequency bandwidth. algorithm application to practice is described. The simulation result of estimation accuracy is also given.

This paper proposes a new novel local area interpolation algorithm for heart 3D recreation form cardiac ultrasound images. Compare with the traditional local area linear interpolation algorithm we introduced a 3d ball Filter, which leads to the number of slice and the number of the interpolation candidate points are dynamic, the experiment results show that our results are much more smoother and realistic than that of the traditional one which the number of slice and points are fixed.

Sub-pixel interpolation technique is a way that getting sub-pixel gray value by interpolation algorithm and then it is substituted into the correlation expression to calculate the sub-pixel position. It is a key way to improve the displacement measurement accuracy in Digital Speckle Correlation Method (DSCM), meanwhile, it is more time consuming than other steps. A new quarter sub-pixel registration method is proposed which can significantly cut down the sub-pixel searching time. On the premise of not reducing accuracy, an improved Taylor's series expansion in gradient algorithm is used to get higher registration speed. At the same time, a new cubic convolution interpolation method is proposed to get extremely high accuracy. These conclusions are proved by the results of the experimental system.

Signal CCD/CMOS sensors capture image information by covering the sensor surface with a color filter array(CFA). For each pixel, only one of three primary colors(red, green and blue) can pass through the color filter array(CFA). The other two missing color components are estimated by the values of the surrounding pixels. In Bayer array, the green components are half of the total pixels, but both red pixel and blue pixel components are quarter, so green components contain more information, which can be reference to color interpolation of red components and blue components. Based on this principle, in this paper, a simple and effective color interpolation algorithm based on green components and signal correlation for Bayer pattern images was proposed. The first step is to interpolate R, G and B components using the method-bilinear interpolation. The second step is to revise the results of bilinear interpolation by adding some green components on the results of bilinear interpolation. The calculation of the values to be added should consider the influence of correlation between the three channels. There are two major contributions in the paper. The first one is to demosaick G component more precisely. The second one is the spectral-spatial correlations between the three color channels is taken into consideration. At last, through MATLAB simulation experiments, experimental pictures and quantitative data for performance evaluation-Peak Signal to Noise Ratio(PSNR) were gotten. The results of simulation experiments show, compared with other color interpolation algorithms, the proposed algorithm performs well in both visual perception and PSNR measurement. And the proposed algorithm does not increase the complexity of calculation but ensures the real-time of system. Theory and experiments show the method is reasonable and has important engineering significance.

For the vast majority of the DEM interpolation algorithms, the interpolation process is carried out in the local area, which is largely dependent on terrain features of the dataset of sampling points within the local area. This paper selects surface roughness and spatial distribution indicators to establish the descriptive model of local terrain features, which is then used to describe the characteristics of the data set of the sampling point within the local area. Then, it uses K means clustering analysis and residuals comparative analysis to study the correlation of surface roughness indicators and spatial distribution indicators to DEM interpolation algorithm. The corresponding conclusions contribute to selecting the adaptability of local terrain features of DEM interpolation algorithm.

A new jitter measurement method for multi-level discs is presented in this paper. This method, with merits such as high precision, flexible and low cost, combines the traditional pulse counting method and interpolation algorithm. The principle of this method is explained in detail, and its precision is analyzed. The analysis result is shown to be very effective. It has a broad application prospect and practical value in quality evaluation of multi-level discs.
