A method for computing interval eigenvalues of closed-loop system is proposed using interval theory for low-frequency oscillation in power system. Firstly, the closed-loopsystem state matrix based on interval parameters is deduced, then, the algorithm for estimating the lower and upper bounds of the interval complex eigenvalues using matrix perturbation theory and interval extension theory is proposed. Finally, the results are derived in terms of eigenvalues and left and right eigenvectors of the power system. The simulation results of IEEE 4-generater 11-bus system demonstrated that the proposed method is effective and superiority.
