The analytic hierarchy process approach is usually applied to the bridge state assessment, but it can't reflect the uncertainty and fuzziness of the index. In this paper, an uncertain analytic hierarchy process was applied to the multistage synthesis fuzzy assessment of bridge structures. Adopting the uncertain weight judgmentmatrix, the optimized weight values were obtained through the optimum algorithm. Then the comment scores were fuzzed through the grade membership function of the fuzzy theory. When the fuzzy results were carried out, the grade of bridge state was determined by the maximal subjection grade and its near degree. In the end, an instance was given to prove the feasibility of using the uncertain analytic hierarchy process in the bridge state assessment.
