The existing fractal art pattern generation methods often rely on fixed algorithms and parameter settings, which limits the quality and efficiency of pattern generation. This study utilizes the natural selection and genetic mechanisms of the Standard Genetic Algorithm (SGA) to continuously optimize pattern design through iterative processes, resulting in fractal art works that meet user needs. Firstly, the iterative function of the fractal pattern is represented as a binary tree structure, with each node representing an iteration step. Then, genetic algorithm operations (selection, crossover, mutation) are performed on these tree structures to generate new offspring patterns. The results show that compared with traditional genetic algorithm (GA) and differential evolution (DE) algorithm, SAG has a pattern generation time between 8-19.7 seconds, and the average structural similarity of the generated patterns reaches 0.908, which greatly improves the quality. Therefore, this study has significant implications for promoting the development of fractal art pattern generation research.

Calculating the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a polynomial matrix has proved to be an important problem in signal processing, in recent years. There exists various iterative algorithms for approximating the polynomial eigenvalue decomposition (PEVD), such as the sequential matrix diagonalisation (SMD). In this paper, we propose two artificial neural network (ANN)-based approaches to computing the polynomial eigenvalues found by the SMD. This is achieved via a feed-forward and convolutional neural network models that are trained using SMD-based eigenvalues. Simulated results highlight ANN-based PEVD computation as a viable alternative to using iterative PEVD algorithms. Results show favourable computational efficiency of the proposed CNN approach compared to the SMD algorithm, whilst achieving high eigenvalue-estimation accuracy.

This paper reviews the sequential, parallel and distributed implementations of strongly connected component algorithms, and analyzes the challenges of each implementation in the graph iteration paradigm of distributed processing. We also review the graph data layout and communication mode of each distributed graph processing system, and analyze the defect of high memory usage in the implementation of the strongly connected component algorithm of the existing distributed graph processing system. Therefore, we propose a strongly connected component algorithm that performs pull mode communication on CSR instead of traversing the transposed graph. Experiments show that the memory consumption of our method is greatly reduced, and the running time of the algorithm is much lower than that of the most advanced implementation. On four publicly accessible data sets, our approach reduces computation time and storage space by an average of 26% and 39%, respectively. In addition, we optimize the general pull communication mode, resulting in 15.2°/0 computation time reduction on the four publicly available data sets.

The high spatial resolution remote sensing image contains rich special information with a great detail. Traditional segmentation methods have low classification accuracy, the complexity of high spatial resolution remote sensing images also requires higher the classification technology of remote sensing images. In recent years, neural networks have made remarkable achievements in the field of image segmentation. Our method was tested on the High-Resolution Remote Sensing Segmentation Dataset, comparative semantic segmentation models such as FCN (Fully Convolutional Networks), SegNet and DeepLab-V3+. Experimental results showed that the overall accuracy of FCN, SegNet and DeepLab-V3+ methods were 82.8%, 85.5% and 87.4 %. The analysis results show that the DeepLab-V3+algorithm has higher iterative efficiency in model training; SegNet is the second, and the FCN algorithm has the worst iterative efficiency. The DeepLab-V3+algorithm has the highest accuracy and the fastest iteration efficiency in the extraction of multi-element features from high spatial resolution remote sensing images, which achieved a balance between accuracy and computational resource consumption.

This paper investigates the channel estimation problem for M-QAM based underwater acoustic systems with Rayleigh fading. Utilizing the maximum a posteriori probability, the iterative expectation maximization algorithm conducts estimation of the channel coefficients in the frequency domain. Taking into account the M-QAM signalling for any M. Finally, the estimated channel enters a refinement process using the direct Fourier transform for sparse channel taps estimation in the time domain. Simulation results were carried out for 32QAM signalling, and the mean square error and bit error rate showed robustness for different pilot spacings.

To evaluate the performance of iterative scheduling algorithms in input queuing and switching networks, this study constructs a specialized simulation platform using OMNET++ software suit. Adopted through a modular and object-oriented approach, the platform supports various scheduling algorithms and can accurately simulate the complete process from data generation to output, including the processing of different types of service flows. By implementing the iSLIP, DRRM, EiSLIP and EDRRM algorithms, the platform's network-level performance simulation capability is verified under different load conditions, demonstrating its potential in promoting the research of network architecture optimization and scheduling strategies, which is of great significance in promoting the theoretical and practical advancement of network technology. This platform fills the gap of existing simulation software in specific areas and provides an effective tool for the research of iterative scheduling algorithms.

In this paper, the location estimation of sensor nodes in wireless sensor networks is improved using optimization. The algorithms from the domain of evolutionary computing (EC) are used for reducing the error that occurs in the localization calculations. The EC-based algorithms are namely genetic algorithm (GA), cultural algorithm (CA), and differential evolution (DE) algorithm. All three algorithms use two parameters: the anchor coordinates obtained by a mobile anchor and the distance between the unknown nodes and anchor positions. The EC- based algorithms are used for optimizing the localization error. The maximum accurate results are shown by the DE algorithm, whereas CA is the fastest among the three algorithms. The performance of the DE and GA is similar in terms of accuracy but varies in the delay.

In this paper, we propose a beamforming design with a two-layer time delay network (TDN) to mitigate the beam squint effect in terahertz (THz) communication systems. We first explain our proposed two-layer TDN that exploits both the true-time-delayers (TTDs) and the fixed true-time-delayers (FTTDs) in separate layers. In our design, the first layer is a TTD layer, where a single TTD is used for each RF chain, while the second layer is an FTTD layer, which comprises FTTDs connecting the first layer and the transmit antennas. We then optimize our proposed design to maximize the achievable rate using our proposed iterative delay beamforming algorithm. In numerical results, we show that our proposed beamforming design outperforms the conventional energy-efficient beamforming design by adding only a single TTD per RF chain.

In this paper, an expert matching strategy based on greedy iterative search algorithm (GIS) is proposed to solve the problem of selecting experts for science and technology project review. GIS algorithm iteratively selects the most matched experts and gradually optimizes the combination of experts to achieve the best matching effect. This paper introduces the implementation steps of GIS algorithm in detail, and compares the performance of two greedy strategies and maximum flow matching strategies in terms of matching time and matching weight sum through experiments. The experimental results show that the greedy matching strategy is superior to the maximum flow matching strategy in both speed and effect.

Faster-Than-Nyquist signling,as a non-orthogonal signaling format,can effectively enhances the spectral efficiency of communication systems. However, it introduces significant Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI). ISI can lead to inferior receiver performance in transmission systems. Therefore,requires some competent equalization schemes as a key technology to overcome the key impediment to its use in future mobile *** paper aims to develop a high-performance Faster-Than-Nyquist(FTN) signaling system by utilizing an iterative Decision Feedback Equalizer, which mitigates the impact of local errors through Energy Spreading Transform (EST). EST can extend the energy of an error symbol to the entire transmission frame, thereby minimizing their influence on surrounding symbols and improving overall system performance. In addition, we ensured that the SINR output at each iteration reaches its maximum during the iterative *** results demonstrate that this algorithm can have better ISI resistance while keeping the complexity low, and its performance improves with increasing iterations.
