This paper developed a distributional PACS system conform to the J2EE specification, implemented the DICOM image's receiving, storage and archiving on the basis of the DICOM standard. Extract meta information and stored in the database. Visit from different clients of different platforms to look up patient and some management. Web Service provides services functions. The System is a true cross-platform, provides a good background support for remote diagnosis system and the borderless PACS system. Compared to the traditional PACS, the PACS based on J2EE specification is easier to install and manage and more security and flexible, overcome the traditional faults of pure Client/Server model or Browser/Server architecture. Simplifies enterprise application development, management and deploy as a distributional and portable PACS.

Information Requirement Elicitation (IRE) is essential in wireless web service to elicit information requirements through interactive choice prompts. We present a high-level user interface for an IRE-enabled information system, in the context of database queries by a mobile web user. The prototype is based on the notion of a Query-By-Object (QBO) approach of building a query using multiple user-level steps. The test prototype system uses the Mobile Information Devices Profile (AEDP) of the java 2 platform, Micro edition (J2ME), for a wireless front end, and a java 2 platform, enterpriseedition (J2EE) application server and an Object-Relational Database Management System (ORDBMS) at the back end A sample set of dynamic queries demonstrate ease of use by the users.

In this paper, we propose a new approach for implementing document management systems (DMSs) based on a latest IETF specification: WebDAV. As a protocol-level specification, WebDAV enables users to directly manipulate documents on the Web through standard Web browsers. We then introduce a prototype DMS implementation called "Collaborative Workbench", which, besides WebDAV, also adopts an enterprise-level platform: J2EE as its foundation. Facilitated by sets of latest java technologies, e.g., EJB and JSP, J2EE ensures the scalability, availability, and security of the system.
