In 1986 he joined the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. Since then he has been involved in the research and development of semiconductor laser modules. He is a member of IEEE. Graduated from Waseda University in 1978. In 1978 he joined the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. Since then he has been involved in the development of active and passive devices for uses in optical fiber communications. Currently he is in the Opto-Microwave Device Development Section at the Mitsubishi Electric and Electronic System Research Center. Received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tokyo University in 1975 and 1977 respectively. He joined the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation in 1977. Currently he is the Manager of the Opto-Electronics Group at the Electronics System Research Center. He is involved in the research and development of optical components for applications in optical fiber communications. He is a member of IEEE.
