Anatomy is a field of biology in medical education that studies the structured parts of living organism, especially human body. This subject is considered to be very complex and thus not so easy to be learnt. Advanced technology should be utilized to help students studying this subject in more effective way. In this paper, we proposed an interactive 3-dimensional anatomy navigation system supported by Leap Motion Controller (LMC). LMC can detect motion of fingers and hand gesture and use it as controlling input. In this way, structures of organs of human body can be explored interactively and expanded for better understanding and experiences. In this study, we developed interactive application for skeleton system and tested it with 30 medical students and lecturers at our medical faculty. We found that user satisfaction was at the level of 4.07 (Likert scale of 5), interaction and gesture agreement at the level of 4.13 (Likert Scale of 5). Our result indicates that the anatomy learning system using LMC was successfully developed and it is suitable and acceptable as a supportive tool in anatomy learning system.

The purpose of this research is first to (1) to determine the system flow of the existing workshop, (2) to understand the learning style and prior knowledge of each lecturer as a recommendation base for any workshops that will be applied, (3) to design ontology as the basis for system development, (4) to design and develop the system in accordance with the user requirements, (5) to provide e-learning models that fit the needs and characteristics for each lecturer, (6) to evaluate the proposed e-learning model. In this research, theoretical studies conducted on adaptive and personalized e-learning. Additional material obtained either from books or related journals as a reference in the system development. The model developed in this study were made independently in order to design more flexible ontology. Five models developed in this study, (1) prior knowledge, (2) user models, (3) the domain model, (4) content models, (5) learning path. The final output of this study is a recommendation that our proposed model can be applied as a foundation for the next stage, which is prototype development.

In Japan, there is a strong demand for English language instruction not only from students, but also from working adults. However, the nation has few systems that have functions for improving English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), are simple to operate, and inexpensive. To solve the problem, we propose a versatile English learning system that uses webpages as learning materials. The proposed system has following characteristics: it creates Japanese versions of webpages translated from English, it can determine a user's English skill, it is capable of speaking and listening interactions, it does not require an installation fee, and it is easy to operate.

In addition, they cannot provide the information to satisfy all students because the quantity of knowledge of each student attending a lecture is different. How to establish control design methods for learning systems that are subjected to the stochastic uncertainties becomes a topic of practical importance in the control field. This paper deals with the stochastic iterative learning control (ILC) problems for linear time-varying systems subject to measurement noises and changing durations. The lengths of the changing durations are modeled as a Markov chain with finite states. By exploring the essential trackability problem, we develop a trackability-based design and analysis framework for the stochastic ILC systems. Besides, we design three trackability-based P-type stochastic ILC updating laws to achieve the tracking tasks, with some simple gain matrix selection conditions. Further, the convergence results for the stochastic ILC systems in both the almost-sure and mean-square senses are developed. Two illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the effectiveness of the trackability-based stochastic ILC results.

Today, Indonesian citizen experience a fast changing lifestyle related to information and communication technology (ICT) utility, such as gadget and internet. The ease of information and knowledge retrieval to support learning process comes with problems to be taken care of such as information overload, negative content, netiquette negligence, and gadget addiction. Meanwhile, Indonesia will face an upcoming challenge in the economic sector, Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific (FTAAP) in 2020. An initiative for economic integration uses ICT as economic hub to promote every sector growth in economy. A concept explored in this research context to answers those problems mentioned above and to overcome the upcoming challenge is improving quality of Indonesian human resources through digital literacy education. This paper discusses a learning system model dedicated to deliver digital literacy education to the Indonesian citizen. Objectives of this research are increasing awareness towards digital literacy concept and preparing citizen to be digitally literate and competent using ICT to support their learning process, doing their work more effective and efficient, and preparing Indonesian young generation to become qualified workforce competing in FTAAP 2020, furthermore international work competition. A learning system has been exploited for the mask inspection tool with the Projection Electron Microscope (PEM). The defect is identified by the PEM system using the "defectivity". The detection capability for hp11nm EUV masks is demonstrated. The learning system for PEM consists of the library of the registered defects. The learning system totally optimizes detection capability reconciling the previously registered defects and the newly registered defect. We have verified the effectiveness of the learning system. We can provide a user-friendly mask inspection system with the higher throughput by PEM and with the smaller cost of ownership by the development.

This paper describes the development and evaluation of a user adaptive kanji learning system for JFL (Japanese as a foreign language) learners. Japanese language education for international students is an emergent issue in Japan. Especially learning kanji is a real challenge for them. Therefore we have tried to implement our newly developed kanji learning system, which received good reputations when introduced it into an elementary school, to a Japanese language class for non-native speakers. A pilot evaluation was conducted in order to find which aspects of our system to be modified to fit for JSL learners. The result of the pilot evaluation reveals that the participants' feedback was not good compared with that of elementary school children, especially about computer animations and fun factor. A user-unfriendliness about its navigation has been found. Our future works include the improvement of computer animations, the implementation of English navigation and the summary dashboards for reviewing.
