Analysis of the parameter estimate error when algebraic differentiators are used in the presence of disturbances ⁎

The use of algebraic differentiators in the context of asymptotic continuous-time parameter estimation is discussed. The estimation problem is analyzed within a least squares optimization context. Bounds for the error stemming from high frequency disturbances and the approximation of the derivatives are derived. It is shown that with higher frequencies the error stemming from the disturbances decreases and that the filter parameters can be used to adjust the convergence of this error to zero. An observer with assignable error dynamics for the online estimation is also proposed. A simulation is carried out to evaluate the results and compare the proposed observer with the recursive solution of the least squares problem.

Aiming at the need of measurements about the craft material flow of papermaking, a kind of method is provided based on the multiple sensor information fusion to solve the measurement of oven dried paper pulp flow. At the same time, a way is given to inspect the intended effect of recurrence least square algorithm to make the fit curve. The result proves that the mentioned compensation algorithm will make the measure precision of the paper pulp quality rise from fifteen percent to one percent. While the method is succeeded in realizing the measure task of paper pulp oven dried fibre flow.

Parameter Estimation algorithm with a Variable Forgetting Factor Applied to Adaptive Control

A parameter estimation algorithm which can be applied to the adaptive control of linear systems is presented. The algorithm is basically the least squares algorithm but includes a dead zone, a modification operator and a forgetting factor. Modification operator is a formulation of so-called soft constraints of the estimates. Projection can be regarded as a special case of modification operator. For the calculation of forgetting factor, Ydstie and Sargent's formula based on the constant information principle is modified so that it can be applied to the plant model with unmodelled plant uncertainties and external disturbances. It is shown that the proposed algorithm retains some important properties of the standard recursive least squares algorithm which are crucial in proving the closed-loop stability.

In view of the characteristics of T-S model, such as easily expressing complex dynamic systems and the characteristics of PSO algorithm which could find the optimal solution of complex problems easily. This paper will presents a new identification method based on the T-S model in which FCM parameters is optimized by *** mathematical model of the temperature system of the PVC stripper tower top will be built by this method . First, an adaptive number of clusters of C-means clustering fuzzy (FCM) algorithm is used to find the appropriate number of clusters in FCM, and both the number of fuzzy rules and the premise parameters of the model can are determined. Using PSO algorithm to optimize the FCM algorithm, then getting the best membership matrix by the FCM algorithm based on PSO in the ***,a least square algorithm is applied to determine the parameters of consequent part of T-S model. The simulation result shows the effectiveness and feasibility of the modeling method..

In the LTE network planning, the propagation loss prediction is essential to predict the strength of the signal and interference. Conventionally, Standard Propagation Model（SPM） calibrating algorithms based on least squares（LS） are widely adopted. In this paper, a method using matrix operations is proposed to calibrate the SPM. The simulation results show that the proposed method is able to reduce the mean error and decrease the standard deviation, compared with conventional methods. In addition, it meets the calibration standard.

This paper presents the application of the proposed efficient least squares algorithm in power supply voltage dip and unbalance detection for mitigation using a D-STATCOM. The proposed method is capable of identifying the instantaneous symmetrical components of the fundamental frequency accurately even though the point of common coupling voltage is strongly corrupted by the voltage harmonics. Also, it fulfils the specific requirements of the fast transient response, accuracy and robustness in order to ensure the satisfactory performance of the mitigation system. The proposed method extracts detecting the positive- and negative-sequence components and then using those sequence components for generating reference values of current that need to be injected into the point of connection D-STATCOM in order to compensate the voltage errors. Furthermore, the suitability of the proposed method in balanced/unbalance voltage dip compensation is verified by a experimental studies.

In this paper, a fast online parameter estimation scheme with sinusoidal d-axis current injection is introduced. Compared to the existing parameter estimation strategies, the proposed estimation scheme has relative faster convergence time and is feasible in the transient operation. This estimation scheme is realized by the recursive least square algorithm based on different operating points of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM). With the proposed estimation scheme, the four parameters of the PMSM can be simultaneously estimated online. The derivatives of the d- and q-axis currents are considered in the proposed estimation scheme so that it is feasible in both steady state and transient state operation. The sampling principle is discussed to avoid the rank deficient problem for the estimation. An averaged sliding window is introduced for the estimation to minimize the estimation error from the A/D conversion and to reduce the influence of the measurement noise. The proposed estimation scheme is validated by the experimental results and compared with the parameter estimation with square wave current injection.

For the sake of the processing errors and constructional offsets of the lens of CCD camera,the digital image gained in micro-focal X-ray inspection has radial and tangential and other non-linear *** paper presents an approach to proofreading the image *** of all,a X-ray inspection image of a PCB with 19×19 BGA pads is taken as a calibration sample image,and is processed by the local adaptive thresholding ***,corner points which are defined as the gray level change are the biggest points along horizontal and vertical direction within their adjacent fields respectively are collected by using Harris Corner algorithm with Gaussian smoothing ***,to reduce the computational complexity,some points are selected in a certain interval from the above corner point collection as the basis sample points of distortion correction model which using the least squares algorithm for two-dimensional N-order polynomial fitting,and the correlation fitting coefficients are ***,the distorted sample image is corrected by using the distortion correction *** last,to verify the universality of the correction model an image of X-ray detection is arbitrarily chosen and is *** the two images before and after correction processed it can be found that the presented proofreading approach has not only rather correction precision but also quite universality.

Aiming at the problem of parameter change of battery model and difficulty in accurately estimating the state of charge (SOC), this paper takes lithium iron phosphate battery as the research object, and based on the first-order RC equivalent circuit model of battery, dynamically identifies the parameters of the model through the recursive least square algorithm with forgotten factor, and establishes the timevarying parameter model of battery. Then, the state equation and observation equation of the battery are established by time-varying parameter model, and the SOC estimation of the battery is realized by using the square-root unscented kalman filter algorithm. This SOC estimation method can adapt to the parameter changes of the model, and has the ability to correct the error of the initial value. Experiments show that the time-varying parameter model can accurately simulate the changes of battery terminal voltage, and the SOC estimation strategy adopted can still accurately estimate the SOC of the battery under the condition that the initial value has a large error.
